I had a misscarriage a little after the CAM torsos were done. Considering I couldn't eat, and have type 2 diabetes and anemia, I was sent to the hospital and my husband promised all would be shipped...
Clearly, all was not shipped off. On top of that, he acted like a jerk to some people here...I don't even know the full extent of it, I'm a little overwhelmed and still not clear headed. :x I am going to try to figure out who all he talked to and send some private apologies.
I know we lost our child, but being so rude was not called for from him..he is usually not like that, I'm sorry he did this.
Obviously I have not been there in the hospital myself for months..shortly afterwards when I came home, my husband suffered massive head trauma. I know that sounds so hard to believe, and I knew it would, so I took a picture of his wrist band from the hospital for anyone who needs to see it. ( it has his last name on it, so I hesitate to post it straight out here. just PM me if need be. ) He sufered severe amnesia and forgot evertything every five minutes. It was a nightmare.
That long winded spout said, I just came home today to all this. I've only had wifi on my phone and did not have my passwords to most of my online account aside from Facebook..so just now is the first I've een on a computer in a while.
I do have all of the torsos done right now and in front of me; I am unable to walk long distances, so I am waiting for a friend to come take me to the post office come Friday. I am trying to sort out who started what Paypal cases and respond to them in the right order; like I said, I'm really overwhelmed. everyone who paid for the torsos is going to get those,a nd shortly after some free custom accesories I had going.
All that said, I will -not- be taking commissions for these again. I'll direct you to the other talented peopler here who have less crazy stuff going on and what not. ( in act, feel free to advertise right here in this thread or my old one!! ) If I make anymore, they'll be done before they are listed and most likely just be a part of a custom doll. I don't want to risk more medical issues coming up and more delays.

I want Rochelle so badly... It's stupid, because I KNOW that I'll get her, I KNOW that if I wait long enough, I can catch them when they're on sale by Amazon like I did with Operetta, but it still bugs me not having her. She's the only female character released that I don't have. (Not counting the skeleton CAM, who I will be getting eventually.)
While there are still distribution issues with the dolls, the current case wave has been pretty easy to find for the most part. I think as long as people don't drag their feet once this current crop hits retailers, they should be fine. Plus, Rochelle is in at least two different case assortments. Jackson will be the one to keep an eye out for; like Gil, he'll probably only stick around for a little bit.

Hair question - What's the easier way to have a doll wavy hair for a lazy person? I do not want to do straw curls. Not because it's hard in itself, but they never come out right on a round head. I can do curls on a fart, but with dolls they never come out right.
So...should I just give the doll in question a bunch of thick braids, let them sit a few days, then unravel and comb them out into waves? Or is there an alternative method for the lazy?

So I went to walmart today and they had a full supply of the Wave 1 DOTD dolls. It seemed very random to me! Unfortunately, they didn't have any of the 3-packs. I had read on the LiveJournal that they might be restocked soon as well. BUT I snagged B&W Frankie for $4.13!!!!! I'm so glad I was patient!! So to any of y'all who don't have her yet, keep checking walmart!

I decided to come out of lurking just to wonder - is it just me or is the quality deteriorating quite rapidly? The only doll I have that is 'perfect' is Howleen. All my others have at least one or two flaws in their face. I recently got DotD Frankie, and not only does her face have one or two flaws (albeit easily overlooked), but her shoes are in a terrible state - all chipped and with dried glue stains. I've already contacted Mattel CS about ordering replacement shoes. I also recently sold my DotD Ghoulia because of her face-up problems. Now I find my Operetta has one eye set higher than the other, so her face looks wonky (that and frizzy hair). -__- Unfortunately it's so hard to tell when they're in the packaging (not to mention Operetta's mask was over the 'bad' eye).
Am I just terribly unlucky? To be fair, I have to buy from online retailers because I can never find any in stores (except for the werewolf sisters), so I can't compare before purchase. I just ordered the werecat twins off TRU UK, and with all the horror stories I've heard about those, I'm going to be scrutinising pretty carefully before deboxing. I don't think the quality is deteriorating. My daughter has close to 70 dolls and most of them are perfect, very few have flaws. Yes, they all have box hair, since she collects them MIB, but that's to be expected. We order about half of them online, I guess we've been lucky :)
Papier, I don't know if it's just you. I have had pretty terrible luck with a lot of MH dolls too, ESPECIALLY multi-pack dolls. It seems that if 1 or 2 of the dolls in a pack looks great, the others are hideous! I have been unable to get the Clawd/Draculaura two pack yet because one of the two ALWAYS looks severely bad. I have seen over 30 of these packs in person, and have yet to find one where this wasn't the case! My Clawdeen from the werewolf Target two-pack has an eyeball desperately trying to escape into her hairline. Misplaced/different size eyes is one of the most annoying flaws to me, and it can be extremely hard to spot in dolls like Sweet 1600 Clawd, Deuce, and Ghoulias because they're packaged with their glasses on (also, hurray for stains and head-dents!) My werecat twins...I'm afraid to touch their hair because it falls out!! Is that a common problem for those two? It's pretty awful!

Kmart USA has all yellow sticker toys marked at an additional 50% off sticker. They had the Day at the Maul fashion pack for $5.50. Check your Kmarts on the endcaps and in clearance if you need this set. ;)

When buying MH from a store, I always take a look at all the dolls on the shelf and choose the one with the least flaws. I think mine are 99.9% good! The worst ones I saw had hair slightly off-place or strokes of paint in the wrong place.

I must be odd, I always pick the worst ones for myself. I'm not really fussy, and I like to think the nicest ones will go to a lovely child that love the dolls.

The Wall-Mart around where I live sells fashion packs for 8.00 whereas Target charges 14.00 for the fashion packs. I totally agree with you. Eighteen dollars is a lot of money to spend on a fashion pack. You could get a new doll for around that price.
My advice would be too brush it. Well wash and brush it. My Purrsephone (black haired one) was the one that was bad about it when I got her, but after getting out what was coming out after dunking her head in near boiling water, I haven't had further problems and she didn't lose enough to go bald or anything.

I was wondering if anyone who wigs their Werewolf girls and have older, all soft plastic heads would be interested in trading with me. This is for my personal collection and I'm really bummed out about it :(

Maybe I'm optimistic, but I'm hoping we'll see shipments of Sweet 1600 a few more times this year, and maybe next year too? It came out (widely) only a couple months ago, so I can't see them stopping now. Hopefully, in those shipments, some Clawds will be included. I really like Sweet 1600 Clawd, and it's not like the MH boys sit on shelves with no one buying them. I can't find a MH doll, male or female, ANYWHERE right now! I already own Cupid and Clawd, but I would really like the opportunity to buy Sweet 1600 Clawdeen someday. I think she's gorgeous!

It is so frustrating that I feel like I'm almost at the point where I'm just done with collection, plus I have to make tough decisions like overpaying for 1 doll online or holding out to get 2 dolls for that price in the store. But with gas money being so expensive and my stores never having anything in stock, I'm just tired of wasting my time looking. I love the dolls but it's gotten so much more ridiculous since I've started collecting them.

Well dang. I am in town, still at work so I went to walmart. The girl with the stone skin is gone, and so is the red head. Sorry guys.
They do however have Jackson Jekyll - the eye makup looks good, there are a couple of box issues and has bag strap has come loose/poped out on one side. So if the box issues bothers you just let me know. He does have some bits of hair loose inside the box. Not on his head it just looks like loose bits they didn't blow off him before putting him in the box.
The two girls that are left are Abbey Bomidable - somehow I missed her lastnight. Sorry if I'm spelling the name wrong. SHes got white hair and a blue glittery body. The doll looks good but on the front of the box there is a little red blob of paint. This is not on the doll it's on the plastic of the box.
The other girl that they had left is Nefera De Nile - she is fine and her box seemed fine.
If anyone wants me to pick these up please let me know. I'm still at work, I'll probably be back to check in in an hour.

Based on their scarcity and the fact that the item number still scans as "active", I'm assuming it's just a production glitch. Some stores received shipments, some didn't. So, I'm guessing we'll see them back on the shelves in the next couple of months.

Oh boy colors. Virgin Snow from dollyhair, glow in the dark dollyhair, wisteria from dollyhair, and the green is a new favorite of mine from restore doll katsilk nylon green 3.She looks great! Her hair looks so thick and soft. I wanted to try rehairing a doll at some point, is it hard to do? I've done ponies manes easily but a doll seems like a lot more work lol
I'm not sure how much I used since a great deal was partial. I know I used one full virgin snow and at least half a glow in the dark. I want to say half of each of the other two as well. So maybe 2.5 to 3 hanks total. Her hair is pretty thick, lol

I ordered Rochelle from Amazon UK and the estimated delivery time was 2-5 weeks. I thought I could live with it, but yesterday I got a mail saying my order was cancelled. I'm so pissed :( I don't wanna pay eBay prices!

That's what I'm hoping for as well. I wouldn't mind adding Slow Moe to my collection, plus Ghoulia will then technically get a 2.0 doll to go with the other main girls in the line. :)
I saw the strangest, creepiest thing at Boscov's today. SS Ghoulia just didn't look right to me on the shelf. I picked her up and to my surprise.... her hair was chopped all off! I mean hacked off! Also her skirt was cut up in shreds. Her face was also wet for some reason. Looking at the box I notice that it has been opened! What sicko would do this and then return it?? To make matters worse I saw that the Ghoulia behind that one was also hacked up. 2?!?! On the same shelf? It's just not right!That's so weird...And kind of creepy! Ewww. :( Poor Ghoulia.
I took them over to customer service and tell them that these dolls have been tampered with. Sure enough the lady said those were returned the other day and because it was a monster doll she just didn't notice. :huh:

When is Rochelle's official release date again? I buy 95% of my dolls online, and I'm tried of checking every three hours...I think I'm too early. I remember Toralei showed up online at retail like three weeks after everyone started finding her in stores...
I've checked my girls periodically since it was first mentioned on the LJ (actually, even earlier, since the topic was first brought up elsewhere). So far, nothing noticeable to me. Granted, signature Frankie and Clawdeen have always had, slicker, almost greasy feeling hair since I first got them (new in box, almost two years ago). But I wouldn't say it feels sticky.
I'm really hoping I dodged a bullet, but I'll keep checking, just to be safe. I might need to invest in Goof-Off at some point :cry: There's been a lot of speculation on what causes it; one theory I've heard is that boil-perming might be the culprit. I don't know if that's the case, since I've done it to almost all my dolls at some point, and my signature Lagoona has had it the most. No sign of sticky hair on her.
I'm sorry to hear your collection is suffering, Mandy; hopefully the Goof-Off does the trick!
That sounds awful! I'm glad you found something that worked, even if it's just for the time being. I hope it doesn't happen to any of my dolls but if it does, at least I know how to remove it. I'm so sorry it happened to you. :(

Customizers, I need your help. I was just looking at doll hair for my CAMs and I don't like the Saran color choices. What do you think about Nylon? Anything I should know (hair type-wise), as someone whose NEVER done a reroot before? I think I know what I'm doing when it comes to the rooting, but I want to make sure I'm informed when it comes to texture and tolerance to heat. MH dolls have Saran hair (mostly) right? I love their hair, would Nylon be too drastic a difference to me? Anyone know where I can find wacky Saran colors?Nylon is a little thicker than Saran, but they behave the same. Nylon can be straightened with a flat iron up to 180 degrees while Saran I'm afraid to go past 90-100F. Saran can also be very oily and should wash away, but sometimes it doesn't. As for the actual rooting process, Saran and Nylon are the same. They'll naturally separate into individual plugs from the hank of hair you purchase. Only difference I have noticed is that Saran is a bit more fragile and can sometimes break while rooting if for some reason you have to remove the hair from the plug.
I still haven't found Operetta and Nefera. My store's been cleared of all dolls since February. :( It's so depressing walking back to the aisle only to see the kiddie dress up clothes.AAACK. I wish you would have posted this earlier! I saw two today at Walmart and picked one of them up for myself. I highly doubt she'll be there when I go back, though. That's the first time in MONTHS I have seen dolls on the shelves of that walmart. :(

Help! I was rinsing the glue out of my Sweet 1600 Clawd's hair and his flocked side burns (for the most part) rinsed right off too! So, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I'd like to get it as close to mint as possible, but I'm leaning towards paint. I remember Pickle saying he boiled his off when he was trying to get glasses dents off of his Clawd's face. I checked his pics and he looks fine. I wonder what he did to fix it?

A heads up that the new fashion packs (Operetta, Clawdeen, Abbey, and Lagoona) are starting to pop up in stores. I really hope I can find Operetta's, the distribution for the past two waves has been terrible.

Well I got my Rochelle yesterday and her left eye is seriously wonky. xD It wasn't even painted completely in her eye socket! I'm asking for a replacement from Amazon but I will also hold onto this one and search stores for a pretty Rochelle since chances are my Amazon replacement will also have something wrong with her face.That's why I ended up selling mine to someone who was less picky and could appreciate her more and bought another one from someone on the arena who provided good face pics. If your replacement ends up being not exactly what you want, you could try to get a trade or something on here. :)

My newest doll! :D I got her earlier this month but finally got around to getting a pic of her. I love this version of Clawdeen. And her necklace? It's a pull tab from a bottle of balsamic vinegar! They do come in purple! Mine is just like the promo pics. It was the only one at Walmart, so I don't know if its one of each to a case, random, etc.
Today I found a GB Frankie with/ bathing suit, shoes, and earings. i was LIKE OMG when i was digging through the bin of barbies and pulled her out. There was a price tag on her leg for $4.99 the thrift stores here are doing stupid prices lately on everything making Value Village prices cheaper. So i was sneaky and pealed it off to see what they'd price me at the counter. I also picked up another cheapy dollar store doll that i wanted the clothes from and she was marked $1, so basically when i paid for all my stuff the lady rang both dolls up as $1 each. WOOOT i paid a buck for a monster high doll YEAY!

I am so disappointed right now.
I just opened my new Dead Tired Frankie. My Walmart had a bunch of the Dead Tired dolls and I rooted through about 15 different Frankies until I found the one with the nicest face. Little did I know that a nice face-up was the least of my problems.
Her pantlegs are uneven. Not only are they uneven, they are completely different. Frankie's right pantleg is a much looser fit than the left one. She has scraped paint on her legs, as well as dirt and smudges. The worst part of all is that her left leg is longer than her right leg. I didn't realize it until I stood her up in her stand and one of her feet was connecting with the stand base while the other one was not. It is especially evident when she's wearing her slippers, but also noticeable without them.

I don't know what to do. I have contacted Mattel with complaints twice already. One for when my Signature Abbey's arm snapped and once for when I got a signature Deuce with a tear in his plastic. I'm afraid that Mattel just won't care or do anything about this. I am so upset.

I agree, Yuitsu. The stocking for MH dolls isn't great, but the scalpers aren't really helping the cause. The moment they're spotted on shelves, they're usually gone pretty quickly. My local TRU has a "2 Monster High dolls per guest" policy, and I think some stores should consider a simular policy. For example, if they see someone walking out with 5 Cupids and 4 Rochelles, they should say something. It's not necessarily the store's business but it's not fair that collectors and children alike are missing out on toys they like because someone thinks it's okay to be buying the entire shelves and selling them for double.. :/
A Skull Shores Gil retails at £11.99 but is being resold for 4 times that because Mattel can't sort their stock out, it's insane. That said I'm waiting to see if they release Gil in normal clothes, now that they've done that to Jackson two years after Gloom Beach..

I don't have any photos, but I can describe her to you. Her hair was braided to the side, and then I rolled that into an elegant bun on the side of her head. She's wearing pearl earrings, a long pearl type necklace, and a pale bluish ruffled dress.

If you are totally stuck and cant find a Regular Basic Spectra would your niece suffice with one of the newer ones redressed in the Basic Clothing? I have a spare set of her clothing and accessories if your interested - the earings just as and FYI.

I have to say, I'm honestly kind of on the fence about her! Which is a huge shock since I've been looking forward to her so much. Her left eye is a little scuffed though, and her lips are darker than I pictured. For some reason she looks really really sad to me, like no matter what angle I photograph her at she looks really depressed lol. I do like Roux though, who is soft and pliable, not the hard plastic I envisioned, and the texture of her skin is really beautiful. Hopefully she grows on me. For now, DT Frankie is still the prettiest in my book!

Check the lower back. Any doll from Indonesia can be prone to this. Apparently it does not wash out. If you wash their hair it'll make it worse quicker. It'll eventually get worse too from what I heard. Some dolls apparently get the problem right out of the box, while others won't do it for months.

I wouldn't go on assuming it'll happen to all your dolls. It could very well be a major batch problem. Some people are trying to say it's not widespread, but I've seen too many people with the problem including myself.I was just seeing it all over the place is all I meant xD! I'm honestly more worried about it because I live in Florida where it's very hot and humid almost all year round, and we don't have a powerful A/C in our room (we have a rather crappy window unit that we can't have the compressor on all the time or the electric bill will sky rocket), and if there's a chance of it happening that's certainly gonna exacerbate it.
But don't freak out!
Just keep it in mind so we can contact Mattel to let them know in the hopes of getting it fixed in the future. I wouldn't imagine the glue would be toxic to children, but I wouldn't want to guess.
That and I'd imagine that the Goo Off thing would work, but if it keeps coming back, you would eventually get rid of all the glue and the hair would fall out?

No problems here either, although Rochelle's hair has a greasy texture to it, but it's all of her hair not just the roots.This happened with mine too. Take some Dawn dish soap and really drown her hair in it. Then wash, rinse it, comb it and she should be fine. Make sure to rinse it very well and squeeze the remaining soap out of her head. I had to wash mine twice but her hair is perfect now. :)

If you're going off what their site says, don't get your hopes up, their site said one near me had Spectra and a few others, but all they had was 2 1600 Clawdeens and a Nefera. I was quite bummed. I wanted at least the Lagoona they said they had :/

Her boots should be different in the final run. :) For whatever reason, sometimes the promo pics have shown the dolls with shoes from prior releases before the concept is finalized. The mystery behind the Powder Room Draculaura and Scooter Ghoulia dolls appears to also be solved. They're now listed as Toys R' Us Exclusives. If anyone wants these dolls and plans on getting these playsets, I'd hold out from purchasing them elsewhere.
I hope they still make a Slo-Mo doll even though hopes of it being a 2 pack are gone now!
i rescued a SS lagoona today from Goodwill (obviously a return item from Target, still had the return sticker on her box lol) she has a broken knee peg ... and no leg fins *pouts* poor ghouly can't swim without leg fins! lol
i am quickly becoming the home for broken ghouls lol dt draculara with a broken knee peg (missing lower leg), ss lagoona with broken knee peg (have lower leg) and no leg fins, phys dead ghoulia with a broken elbow peg (missing lower arm and hand) lol ... sometimes i'm tempted to carve a dainty wooden leg for draculara, but then the sci-fi/fantasy nut in me screams "THAT'D BE A WOODEN STAKE ATTACHED TO HER OWN LEG!!!!!" lol

Mine is like yours....more pink than blue-green....and most of that is around her face and in her bangs

I swear I had just visited the Madison Heights TRU and they did NOT have the werecat twins. Then I read a post from you that said they were there, so I decided to check AGAIN. Yeah, I think we're allowed to set stuff aside. Does it make it as fair? No not really, but I don't see much of the problem so long as they don't set TONS of stuff aside. One doll? Sure.

Why is distribution in the UK so crazy?! I havent seen a signature doll of any kind for about 12 months...but my Asda continues to bring in 6 new Cupids every fortnight and then tonight in Tesco they had about 15 of the SS black & white Frankie!I could probably get your Nefera, she seems to pop up quite a bit around me. Wahhhhh culling my Monster High herd is sooo hard. :cry: I just don't have the room! I'm trying to just have one or two of each character, instead of oh, eight. (Frankie and Lala) It's so hard! They are all so adorable! I keep telling myself they are going to find better homes, where they'll be appriciated...
Also, I've gotten amazingly attached to my CAMs, considering they look just like everyone else's!
Originally I wanted to stick with getting only 1 or 2 of each character. And now I have something like 5 or 6 Frankies and I plan on getting Ghouls Rule Frankie too. I need to sell a couple of them but I just can't decide which ones! Same with Clawdeen, I've got 4 of her now, but they're each pretty unique.

I'm always a little confused by all the "there's too many Ghoulias!!!" on here, though. There are 10 Ghoulias so far, and 16 Draculauras...And I think Ghoulia's designs, as a whole, are way more interesting than Draculaura's. To each her own, I guess! I'd personally like to see less Draculauras, though. XD

Run her neck under the tap with hot water and gently pull it off. its works fine for me, and you dont have to even wet the whole head just the neck area. Good Luck sweetie!

This is mostly baseless, but I have a very strong suspicion that Scarah Screams is going to be the SDCC exclusive. They said she would be released in 2012, but after all of the 2012 dolls that have been revealed so far, Scarah wasn't included? It wouldn't surprise me at all that last year's SDCC poll was actually asking who the next SDCC doll should be...I had actually thought that Scarah would be the SDCC exclusive. I certainly wouldn't put that sort of stuff by ANY toy company, and it seems rather suspect that we are half way through 2012 without seeing any other info about the doll... I almost hope it's her to save my wallet as I really don't care about her. But at the same time I want an awesome SDCC exclusive all to myself and would hope it's something awesome like last year's (IF ONLY I WAS INTO THESE THEN). All this speculation kills me.
I've also seen rumors that InvisiBilly will be the exclusive, which makes a little bit of sense since he DID have a character design and bio released. I've seen a couple of crazy people over on Monster High Dolls say that Granite Sanders is going to be the exclusive, and it will be autographed by Garret Sanders, but... Yeah, they're pretty nuts over there. :P
Honestly, I'm just hoping none of this is true, and they do the same thing they did the past two years -- release a special version of an already existing character. I collect one of each character, and I'm probably not going to let the price of an SDCC doll stop me. XD

If I had to give up every doll in my collection and only keep her I would. Am I actually going to do that though? Hell, no. So I say, if you are on the fence about her just look at her in person then decide. That is what I do with all the dolls that I am not sure about, but I am not saying that is the best choice for everyone by any means.

lol that's what basically happened to me!! At first I was like, errr no thanks, but after going store to store and only seeing her, I always picked her up to see if I'd cave in and want her. One day I went to 5 stores straight and each time there was always a Nefera and by that 5th store I cracked and bought her. XP Even with her angular evil face, I still love her. lol XD

I particularly wish all three of the new ghouls were larger...Rochelle, Venus, and Robecca. It would have been the perfect opportunity to showcase Nefera's peers. I LOVE the bigger mold. Longer, thicker legs, big boobs, a nice butt!
I actually really like the MH dolls because their bodies are SO disproportionate and unrealistic (with that crazy swayback) that it doesn't trigger my body image issues at all. They're not supoosed to represent a human body at all, and I love that about them.

Apparently in one of the books, Ghoulia has an older sister called Moan'ica. I want to see her.
Me too! Honestly I find it sort of boring that the new molds for big sister and little sister (Nefera and Howleen) both have human colored skin tones. We lost out on grey, green, and blue! Hopefully they use these molds more in the future.
Honestly, I don't get why only Nefera is the talls. Sure she's older, but most girls don't get too much taller than they are in high school.I totally agree with Abbey and Draculaura deserving these molds than the others, but I don't think Mattel had planned to release different sized dolls until very recently. It's kinda risky since the clothes aren't universally interchangeable now, but then I don't think they expect their target audience to realize that before they buy the doll.
I feel Abby should probably be Nefera's size, and Draculaura should be more like Howleen's size. You know? Ghoulia would be closer to Howleen's size too, but I think most of that is her posture.
If they did the height differentiations I think alot of parents would be complaining that their kids are upset that the dolls are not capable of wearing each others clothes, etc. So that's probably why they made the majority of the base characters all uniform in height. But this is just my opinion. :D
I agree though i would have loved a tiny Lala and a Taller Abbey lol.
She definitely looks like she's standard size, though. :) But she looks really pretty!
I would definitely like to see Moanika. Then again, I'd like to see Melody and InvisiBilly, too. I enjoyed the books a lot, though, I'm probably the only one.

ARRRRGH!!! I just received my 3 loose MH dolls I won off ebay today;I was worried as they came packaged in brown paper (no box) but was really upset when I found they had been wrapped in newspaper too!
Ghoulia escaped harm but GB Jackson has a pale pink mark under his right eye and poor GB Lala has a discolored nose tip and her heart had to be removed due to ink. Add in the fact they smell of smoke (not super bad but enough to irritate my asthma) and you have a bummed DL. Thank goodness today is a nice breezy day so I washed them and airing them out as we speak.
man, that is so not fair. my 8 year old was so upset there was only one torso. she was like "why do they only have one body for two dolls? this is stupid." ...amen sister.

I don't like them either, but I think they'll definitely go for a lot. This is a Wal-Mart exclusive three pack -- exclusives are always worth more, and so far, the Wal-Mart exclusives have been the hardest to find.For me the Target stuff has been much harder to find because they NEVER restock their shelves. The Walmarts at least re-stock a few times a month, whereas the Target shelves I have literally seen sit empty for months.

Clearly I need to live near you! It sucks living near such a large city (Philly) since everyone from there looks for dolls over here, too..I live right in the middle of St.Louis, and I have much more luck going to the out of the way rural stores :huh: I think people out there can't or won't buy $20 dolls as often so there's more left over. I know of at least 5 other collectors here in the city and judging by how fast stuff moves there are a lot more. There were also a ton of scalpers at the toy show who had boxes full of things, like 5 Toralei's and werecat twins.
None of my Targets here have ever gotten the Clawdeen/Howleen set. :( They have gotten the GB five pack, but I never picked one up. Ever since Christmas the Targets around here have just not been restocking as often. I don't know if Mattel is to blame or if Target is, but either way it is very odd.It's not just MH, it's ponies too. I haven't seen new ponies on the pegs for months, they are literally bare and have been that way for a long time. So that leads me to believe it's some weirdness on Target's part.
I am seriously hoping that I find Rochelle soon. She is just so effing adorable that I need her, like, now.
