Oh boy colors.  Virgin Snow from dollyhair, glow in the dark dollyhair, wisteria from dollyhair, and the green is a new favorite of mine from restore doll katsilk nylon green 3.


I'm not sure how much I used since a great deal was partial.  I know I used one full virgin snow and at least half a glow in the dark.  I want to say half of each of the other two as well. So maybe 2.5 to 3 hanks total.  Her hair is pretty thick, lol

She looks great! Her hair looks so thick and soft. I wanted to try rehairing a doll at some point, is it hard to do? I've done ponies manes easily but a doll seems like a lot more work lol

It's really not so bad.  It sure takes longer and more hair, but it works the same way.

The hardest part is covering the scalp.  But I am really OCD about scalp showing and that is why she has so much hair.  I have honestly tried at least three or four plug patterns on a CAM head and always have bald spots.  Argh.

Hmm I may have to give it a try sometime. I would be really obsessive about the scalp showing too, it makes them look like they're balding lol

She looks great!! Almost like what I envision for a custom unicorn doll that I've been thinking about.  I don't know the first thing about MH customizing though. I'm barely adequate with ponies!!

LOL. I tried gluing the ears on and ended up messing the head up so badly, I had no choice but to use the wig.  :D Good luck.

Um, does anyone else's Howleen practically pop out of her shorts when you try make her sit? (My gal looks great standing up, but gets, er, major plumber's bum when I even bend her legs slightly.) Also, do any of the fashion packs fit her well (clothing, obviously not the shoes)?

My ghoulia from the fearleading pack does the same thing! Before you display or put her in a sitting postion stand her up, pop her legs into the socket, then slowley move her into that position cause that will make her joints into place. Try that, that's what I did with ghoulia and it worked :)
