Too lazy to check for glue seeping through hair plugs (and too scared!  Boil perming has become an important step in my doll displaying process.) but I do have a comment about the amount of glue they use.  My Cupid's head just did not want to stay straight, always crooked to one side.  I gently pulled at the head, and it popped off easily (usually have to use a heating pad to remove heads.)  I looked inside the neck hole and saw a blob of glue almost sticking out of her neck.  I pulled at least 4 or 5 blobs of glue out.  Her head still doesn't sit correctly.  I'm gonna have to get another one and use this one's torso for the CAM Ghost Girl.  Crossing my fingers for all 3 store exclusives to restock!

Just came back from searching for MH dolls.  I looked at Walmart, Kmart, and Toys R Us.  My main goal was to find Jackson, Rochelle, and Abbey.  I didn't see them anywhere. :/  I did find Dead Tired Frankie, which I still need, but decided not to get her.  Both of the DT Frankies I spotted had blurry/smudged eyeballs.  I remember I found a DT Frankie around Christmas that had the same exact issue.  I also spotted a Sweet 1600 Clawdeen, another doll I want, but one of her eyes was printed on nearly out of its socket.

I am so fed up with MH right now!!!  I can't find anything, but on the rare occasions when I do, the dolls are messed up somehow.   :<

Customizers, I need your help.  I was just looking at doll hair for my CAMs and I don't like the Saran color choices.  What do you think about Nylon?  Anything I should know (hair type-wise), as someone whose NEVER done a reroot before?  I think I know what I'm doing when it comes to the rooting, but I want to make sure I'm informed when it comes to texture and tolerance to heat.  MH dolls have Saran hair (mostly) right?  I love their hair, would Nylon be too drastic a difference to me?  Anyone know where I can find wacky Saran colors?

Nylon is a little thicker than Saran, but they behave the same. Nylon can be straightened with a flat iron up to 180 degrees while Saran I'm afraid to go past 90-100F. Saran can also be very oily and should wash away, but sometimes it doesn't. As for the actual rooting process, Saran and Nylon are the same. They'll naturally separate into individual plugs from the hank of hair you purchase. Only difference I have noticed is that Saran is a bit more fragile and can sometimes break while rooting if for some reason you have to remove the hair from the plug.

I still haven't found Operetta and Nefera. My store's been cleared of all dolls since February. It's so depressing walking back to the aisle only to see the kiddie dress up clothes.

AAACK. I wish you would have posted this earlier! I saw two today at Walmart and picked one of them up for myself. I highly doubt she'll be there when I go back, though. That's the first time in MONTHS I have seen dolls on the shelves of that walmart.

YAY! Managed to snag the last soft headed Werewolf/Dragon set from my walmart tonight, so, just one soft head to go (which i'm hopefully getting from buddafly)! gotta figure out what to do with my hard heads x.x

goes back to working on her rochelle trade commission~
