I only have a Pocohontas doll, but I'd love a Princess Tiana doll or five one day, I'm hoping one will turn up in a charity shop! I don't normally like Disney dolls since most I come across have cheesy grins, but it's nice to see on this thread that they are not all like that!
It is sad that Disney went and coated her with glitter. I wish I had gotten the doll that came with her horse. Sadly it was too expensive for me, as I would of had to import them form the US. No Disney store here. They don't like to share the magic with us. :cry:

I have a few from childhood: Anastasia, Pocahontas and John Smith, Esmerelda, Ariel etc. but my main disney collection is of the smaller musical princess dolls that were produced from 1994 - 1997.
I'm still missing a few such as the dancing princesses, although I've just bought dancing princess Sleeping Beauty and Bubble princess sleeping beauty!

Claramel there is one more Pocket Friends Princess. They made a really beautiful version of pocket princess Belle too. They also made Belle, Ariel, and Cindy into stockings. Belle and Cindy have their fancy dresses on and Ariel is a mermaid.
There is a Tinkerbell and Mary Poppins Musical Classics doll in the series and there are two Portrait Princesses: Ariel and Snow White. Those are my favorites! There is also a Blockbuster Belle.
I had them all MIB for a while but sold almost all of them because I prefer to only collect them loose now. I am missing a loose Tinkerbell and Classic Ariel.
Ahh Keelee, Shelf of Awesome! GV Ursula is super gorgeous, and I love the big Maleficent plushie! I have the mini version of it ^.^ And I adore the little Funko Pops. They're so cute! And evil! And cute! :biggrin:

Aww, thank you so much! She's definitely the Queen of the Sea in this house. She's from the "Great Villains Collection" of Disney dolls by...Mattel, it seems.

She goes for a lot more than most of the other princesses. Same with Rapunzel. I think they are both in the $200-$300 range. I can get a Jasmine for around $100-$130 shipped, which isn't bad. Maybe for Christmas or something. :lol: I mostly want the mugs though. I collect Disney mugs and the only one I was able to get my hands on was Aurora.

If he truly wants it for his daughter, he can bid on a loose Arabian Lights Jasmine that just went up on EBay that's not at a bad price right now. ;)

Are there any grail Disney dolls for you guys? I would die happy if I could get my hands on a Melody doll from The Little Mermaid 2. I'm SOOOOO regretting I didn't snatch her up at Toys R Us when there were dozens on the shelf!!! I would love to have her MIB, but I would be perfectly happy with a loose one as well. I've seen her go for $600-$700 though, ouch! >_<

Agreed- he can't do that, and obviously his didn't want it that bad for his daughter if he put it on ebay. Open a dispute, ebay will explain to him what he needs to do- and then he either sends the item or gets a strike on his record.
I was in your same boat recently. I won a big lot of goodies for a good deal. A week after I had sent payment, the seller let me know he couldn't send my items because the person he was selling for wanted more, and could I please re-negotiate and maybe send an extra $100. :shocked: I explained to him that he was violating the ebay TOS and needed to send the item that he had contracted to sell. WHen he wouldn't- I opened a dispute and posted negative feedback. I also told him that I would be willing to revise the feedback when I got the items. He sent them. I revised the feedback to neutral (which I think was fair). Sounds mean- but reading through his prior feedback- it looked like he had done this before and I'm sorry but if you are are worried you won't get the price you want- spend the extra $2 and post a reserve.

Well, then its good for you and bad for me. I won't be buying any Disney dolls with rubber legs. I accidentally got a wedding Rapunzel with rubber legs and I'm really unhappy. She's cute and not glittery, which is good, but ugh. I hate Barbie legs so much, especially rubber ones. Everything sticks to them and its awful.
I highly doubt they'll ever get good articulation like that, since it seems they gave up and entirely removed the legs joints instead of just fixing them. Although I'd love to see a new playline doll with Liv-level articulation since Livs were discontinued.

Aurora is absolutely stunning, but she is caked in glitter. Her legs look speckled because of all the glitter. She doesn't have knee joints either which I think was confirmed for the new 2013 dolls. I also don't like that the bands holding the shoes to her feet were indented into her skin. >_< I should have left the bands on her feet because he shoes fall off pretty easily, but luckily I'm only displaying her.
Edit: And I just looked back a few pages to confirm that she is the new Aurora. I love that new Jasmine. I plan on getting her or exchanging the one that I just got so I'll keep her in box for now 'til I see the new Jasmine in person. If I had realized this sooner I would have checked better for the new Jasmine.
I love the Animator's collector dolls. I had Rapunzel for a little while and then we visited New York and I saw them all in person.... I bought the Cinderella that day and ended up ordering the rest online during the train ride home. I have since added the similar Meridia doll and the deluxe Cinderella doll to my collection.okay where the heck can I get one and how much?

Nope, sorry. Didn't look too closely at it. Kiddo was just commenting on how pretty the set was and how many sisters Ariel had in the other set.

My research says the set is the same price as the cinderella one from last year. So that is USD80. I could be wrong so it is best that someone checks the price for you. Also it shouldnt be long till it comes online

Thanks for finding out the price for me Bow Tie. :) It's a little more than I was expecting it to be but like you say you are getting 5 dolls for less than $20 a piece. I wonder if there's any chance that Disney will release Vanessa by herself at some point. I'm not sure what to do now though.

My biggest disappointment with the new Disney Princess Dolls that just came out are that there are no knee joints. I'm hoping to find the Aurora from last year because she has the knee joints. I don't like her legs sticking out.

Does anyone know what kind of dolls stands work with the Disney Store dolls? I would think MH would be to small. Any ideas? I just received my order today. The male dolls are a lot heftier than I imagined. I like them, very detailed.
I keep looking at the position of Rapunzel in that picture and think how it looks like she wants to leave the group and run off somewhere.

I should rephrase that. The pre-order for her has already sold out. I think they will still have more up when she goes for sale in October. Although I could be wrong. Anyway, Cinderella's pre-order took a month or so before it sold out. Ariel took less than 3 days.

I was talking to a Disney Store employee and they said their store was doing a raffle thing for those expensive designer couples. If more people show up than doll sets are available that day then they take everyone's name and pick them out of a hat. But that kinda sounds lame, if someone took the time to get to the store upon opening and was first in line they still might not get a doll. :/
Snow White is becoming more and more my favorite princess. These dolls are helping solidify my feelings for her, especially because her hair is long.

I was able to grab last year's Jasmine who has knee joints, but the Aurora I grabbed along with her doesn't have the knee joints. I hope to get the one with knee joints some time soon. It's even more disappointing that they are excluding Mulan and Pocahontas! They aren't my favorite princesses, but they don't deserve to be excluded. They are fantastic princesses!

I don't know anything about Disney dolls but from what I remember, even back in 1997 (which is when I got my very first Ariel doll) there were more human dolls than mermaid dolls.

Flynn is in the box, but behind Rapunzel. That is the one thing I don't like about this set. They put Rapunzel directly in front of Flynn so you can't see him unless you look at the box from the side. After I move into my apartment, I'll be taking the case off and moving them around so you can see Flynn better.

Well the bright red is more Ariel from the movie so I guess that makes sense but I really think that natural doll was so beautiful and special because she was different.I am so jealous of your giselle dolls! I only own the disney store version of her! She should of became a disney princess!

I just looked on Ebay at The Enchanted/Giselle dolls and it makes me wish I had gotten the Wedding dress one when they were still reasonable prices.
I also wish I'd gotten a Little Mermaid II Melody doll when Toys R Us had her. I thought she didn't look like the other Little Mermaid dolls I had at the time and I didn't get her but now she's really rare and expensive now even when she nude or played with.

There are a lot of porcelain Disney dolls out there. Most of them are from other companies however there were some that were released in the Disney Store. There was a set of porcelain princess dolls (sold individually) that were "re-released" through the Disney Store. I say "re-released" because they were already available in other countries (I'm in the USA). They also didn't release all the ones that were previously sold. Ariel, for example, was excluded when they released them here.
I'd say Brass Key is the most likely doll from the thrift store, since they can be some of the most affordable (at original price) but you never know what gets donated. They were offered in many stores and there were a number of different princess versions. It's also possible that they may have mixed outfits, I know of at least one Belle doll with a red cloak, but she had a pink dress. So they may have re-dressed it (of course it may just be a different doll altogether).

To each there own. I personal don't like her face. To me it looks nothing like her. Aladden's face is done nicely. One of the best versions I have seen. I just don't like how they did her face.
Can I jump in here? Im a Belle fan - when my husband and I were at university we used to watch Beauty and the Beast together - and then we started to give each other Belle items. I do love all the Disney Princesses though - and Im looking forward to Frozen :) I really want Merida and her Horse.

If you are into crowns you should pick one up of each (Anna/Elsa). They seem to have the show accurate crowns only for about a year and then *poof* they are gone and you can only get tiaras with the characters faces on them.
I'm trying to collect the tiaras and crowns that are more accurate. I am so sad I missed out on Rapunzel's.

I have both of them boxed together. I was at Disney's D23 Expo back in August and they released an exclusive doll set of Anna & Elsa at the event. I really like their different looks. Here is the picture of the two of them in their box.

EEEEp look how pretty!!! From what I have heard the only difference between the D23 2 pack and the single dolls at the Disney Store is that Anna's skirt is Hemmed in the single pack while it is unhemmed in the D23 2 pack.

So far I like the Disney Store/D23 versions of the Frozen dolls that I've seen in this thread better than the Mattel version (I've only seen Anna so far. Her blouse was painted on. :( )

Also, I have a dumb question, I finally found my Esmeralda doll I had as a kid, is it okay to wash her hair with hot water and conditioner?
It's that very fly-away-ish, feathery hair like the first Pocahontas dolls. I hope that makes sense lol.

I have both of them boxed together. I was at Disney's D23 Expo back in August and they released an exclusive doll set of Anna & Elsa at the event. I really like their different looks. Here is the picture of the two of them in their box.

EEEEp look how pretty!!! From what I have heard the only difference between the D23 2 pack and the single dolls at the Disney Store is that Anna's skirt is Hemmed in the single pack while it is unhemmed in the D23 2 pack.
I could be wrong. But it is just what I have heard :biggrin: They are beautiful either way.
I started out liking Elsa more than Anna when the photo's were leaked. But now that I have seen more detailed shots of Anna I am in love!! So hopefully they will both be mine :biggrin:

I went to the Disney Boutique in JC Penny's today and they had a lot of dolls. To me they look like the same dolls sold in the Disney Store but without the Disney Store label. I saw the Frozen Elsa doll and she looked just like the one in D23 pack as far as I could tell but I didn't get a look at the bottom of her dress. I was disappointed that they didn't have the It's a Small World Dolls though. It's nice having a place to buy nice Disney stuff again. They even had a figurine set with the princesses and their princes.

Yes, tried to get one in store (spent about 3 hours in the mall waiting around) and was sadly disappointed. The store received 13 dolls, and there were about 50 people. :(
If you really think about it, they are losing a considerable amount of money per store. If the edition had been a little bigger, and assuming that the other 37 that walked away without one had been able to buy one, that would be an additional $4,625 (without tax) generated for that one store alone.
The Ariel and Eric dolls are on the Disney Store website now. I hope everyone that wasn't able to get them yesterday can get them today. :)

Knowing Disney they will probably replace Pocahontas or Mulan with an Anna/Kirstoff set. Which would be nice but not nice at the same time. I love Poca and Mulan but the sad truth is they are the forgotten princesses. -_-

That Designer Elsa is very pretty but she does seem to be a little plain for a designer doll.
I'm still trying to figure out the differences between the Disney Store Elsa and Disney Boutique Elsa. So far it looks like the Disney Store version has more details than the Disney Boutique version. Can anyone post pictures of both dolls for me?

I got Ariel from the Disney Store yesterday! I had an Ariel doll I loved as a kid, so she was my first choice.

She's gorgeous! Her hair was full of some kind of gel or something when I got her out of the box? I brushed it out though and it's beautiful, I'm sure she has more hair than my childhood doll. I keep playing with it, lol.

I also have the 2013 DS Ariel doll. She is a gorgeous doll and her hair is amazing. I didn't like the styling glue so I washed it out. Now her hair is nice and soft. :biggrin:
Mine is from the US. It doesnt have those marking on her lower back. The only marking other than the usual made in China markings is the a black serial code on her upper back. H268-9564-9-13077

Argh, there are too many nice Frozen dolls! I already have the classic Disney Store Anna, but I guess I need Elsa to go with her. Then there are the two singing dolls who look pretty nifty even though Elsa's face looks weird. And then there's the set with Anna and Elsa together and packaged with 2 extra outfits. I really love that set, but at $70 it's more than I can justify spending on dolls. The LE ones are out of the question :P I wonder if the Anna and Elsa dolls from the two-pack will be available individually without the extra accessories. That Elsa looks so much prettier than the snow queen one *w*

I'm super bummed because my cat wreaked havoc on my room last night, and one of the casualties was my Anna doll's braid. A little bit of hair had gotten pulled loose from the braid. There was no fixing it without undoing part of the braid, so I got her hair wet, undid the braid up to the loose point, and tried to rebraid it. Disaster :( Her hair is just too short to work with. The white streak got lost halfway down, the braid gets messy at the bottom because there's not enough hair to work with, and at the very end of the braid, the hair sticks out everywhere instead of laying flat. Does anyone have any tips on fixing it? It makes me so sad to look at, because she was brand new and one of my favorite dolls. I'm at the point where I'd almost rather just buy a new one, but she wasn't inexpensive, and I'd hate to buy the same doll twice when I could spend the money on getting an Elsa instead.

I love these sets but sadly I don't know anyone in the UK that would be willing to pick up these sets for me and the Ebay prices for these sets are outrageous.

I am looking for them, yes. I collect Disney ornaments and I buy between ten and thirty new ones every year. I waited longer than usual to buy this year, also they had more beautiful designs than usual! Dumbo and Jumbo would mean a lot to me too, it was one of my mom's favorites and since she passed I've avoided watching it. So I'm mainly looking for the Nightmare and the Dumbo/ Jumbo ornament. I've called and they have Flounder and Sebastian one in my store.

The concert was great! We were late because I was crabby and couldn't pick a good outfit because I needed to look good, but we were going to be late anyways since my fiance didn't get home 'til about an hour before the concert started and we are about an hour and a half away from the venue. We saw Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God and two other bands, Testament and Huntress. I went all Disney today with my outfit. I wore the black and white Alice leggings from Hot Topic, with denim shorts, a pink and purple tank to go under my Cheshire Cat sweater that is also from Hot Topic and these cute black boots! I'm such a girl and I never used to be like this either. :lol: We also stopped at Target to pick up Honey Swamp, but luckily it was on the way and only took a few minutes out of our time. She was worth it! :dribble:

It its verrry likely another LE Anna will be released with the dvd next year, in her snow outfit and cape.
Speculation is that maybe an LE Elsa will be released at the same time in her coronation gear!
When Rapunzel was released, there was a doll at movie release, and then ANOTHER dvd release. They also also did it with Brave.
Because more people will be more familiar with Frozen by dvd release, the edition size might be increased from 2500 to 5000 or 6000 for Snowy outfit Anna.
There is also a possibility of LE Hans and Kristoff. If they were made, it would probably be small edition of 500 like they did for Eric

I hadn't never seen that Alice before. So I looked her up and now I see what the fuss is about she is beautiful. I've never been a big fan of AiWL but they did a nice job on her.She is so pretty.

If I wasn't anticipating this movie so much, I would wait a couple of weeks when most families have already seen it. I want to have my peace and quiet. I am totes bringing my Classic Anna doll to the movie. I am not going to be embarrassed bringing her! She won't be wearing her gloves though because I'm afraid of losing those.

Bow Tie are these figures in the toy section or games at Walmart?They are in the video game section. From the Walmarts I've been to, they are usually right by the cases with the video games and are on a shelf with Skylanders.

Frozen was perfect! Like super perfect! The songs were fantastic! Especially "Let it Go." I had goosebumps and chills hearing Idina Menzel belt out that beautiful song! If I can get an instrumental version, I would love for that to be played at my wedding! :heart: There was a perfect amount of comedy from Olaf and Sven. I was worried the humor from the sidekicks would be overbearing, but it was just right and didn't feel like it took away from the movie. The little scene after the credits was adorbs. I highly recommend this movie so much! The songs, the story, the development of the characters were spot on! What was even better was that there was almost not a peep from people in the theater! Those are the 2009 Disney Store dolls. They were the dolls Disney released as their first make-over of the princesses and princes. The following year they got the articulated arms. From what I have heard these are good quality dolls, and quite sought after.Oh man! I really want that Jasmine! :cry:

2010 - I got her second hand. She has a few plugs missing and a scratch n her face but I still love her. She is wearing a dress from The Barbie and the Magic of the Pegasus movie.
2012 - She was the first one I got. She has been rebodied on a schools out Hayden Liv doll. She is wearing a Liv Fashion Pack dress.
2013 - She has such a cute face!! She is wearing a dress from the Barbie Island Princess movie. I think it looks nice with her vibrant red hair.

Pre-Orders will sell out depending on popularity. They will sell out in minutes if it is like the release of the other LE Frozen dolls. Their price will be $99.95 each plus tax.
They will be listed on the Disney Store's website, but it's best to stalk one of the Disney Collector Dolls facebook pages because sometimes the search on the website won't work and the facebook pages are good about getting you the link super quickly, but I would stalk both the facebook pages and the website just in case one doesn't work out. I've heard stories of people missing out on dolls because they couldn't find the dolls through the search bar. So I put Classic Anna in both the Coronation Outfit and the Snow Gear Outfit that came with the Deluxe Pack and they fit her perfectly! I had no issues putting them on her!

Prices for sold out/retired dolls may calm down in dolly off-season.... Sept-Dec is peak and Frozen is very very popular right now. Maybe more people will sell snow-Elsa if they prefer coronation Elsa? (speculation)

I've never used my Paypal with them because I always get a message that says "We only accpet Paypal accounts attached to credit cards." My Paypal comes from my bank account. Can I still use my Paypal with them? My Paypal is backed up with a credit card but I always make sure there is enough money in the account to cover my purchases.

It wouldn't have gone through if it were incorrect. My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding, but I got both gals! Now I can sleep and not worry about going to the mall early. Just watch. It'll be like last time and it will take about two days for them to sell out at my store. I don't mind the wait even though I'm a "Gotta have 'em now!" kind of person. :lol: It's not like I would be able to take them home right away anyways. I'd get those cool pre-order pamphlets though! But they aren't worth the stress of getting to the mall super early and potentially not be able to pre-order them. XD

I put my order in as well :) Elsa for me. I really like the Anna doll better, I feel like it has a lot more detail, but I love Elsa, and her coronation dress is my favorite of her two outfits. That final total was kind of rough though. With shipping (which I thought was supposed to be free on orders over $75?) and sales tax, she's going to come out to $122.78. I was in such a hurry trying to place my order, I didn't even look at the total until afterwards lol.

Calico, did you apply the SHIPMAGIC code? Sometimes you still have to type it in.
Also, Singing Elsa is back in stock and so is her tiara which was sold out for a while.

And then her face when she starts running up the stairs and slams her foot in the ground to start her ice castle. My heart! /swoon I would say my absolute favorite part of that song was when she pulls her bun down and she runs her fingers through her braid. It's just so beautiful!

Well, if you order in store you get one that is guaranteed to be not damaged. And you get a sleeve for your order receipt. Which is cool. I also want something that doesn't grip their bodies like the MH stands do so the clothes don't get ruined. I was looking at Kaiser stands and Darice stands, but I'm not sure what I want to go with and what size to get. I know nothing about this kind of thing. XD

I don't think the clothes would get ruined because collectors of vintage Barbies use them. Saddle stands might work but with their bandy legs, they could be a bit wonky?

I wonder if the classic Elsa is like that too. Not overly fond of the color she has going on.I'm not really a fan of it either, but it doesn't bother me too much because it isn't super noticeable. I'm really hoping to finally add a Classic Elsa to my collection along with the guys, but I really don't want to pay $17 a piece for them. If they restock by the time Jungle Book comes out, I'll definitely nab the rest when I can use the coupon.

Went to Target afterwards and there were four Anna dolls, NO Elsa's. Went to Wal-Mart and NO Anna dolls and NO Elsa dolls. They're sold out everywhere in my area :freak: I'm going to a different Wal-Mart tomorrow and hopefully they'll have something there. I would like to get the set with Sven *crosses fingers*

I just got a second order of Disney Classic dolls (LOOK THEY KEEP DOING FREE SHIPPING SALES I CAN'T HELP IT). I've only opened three so far, so I have three more (well, maybe two - not 100% sure I'm keeping Maleficent). I took some pictures that I'll post later, but I opened Queen Elinor, Anna, and Jasmine. I REALLY love Jasmine's clothing fabric btw, and I was super-pleased to see that her jewelry is actually shiny. I had a Jasmine as a kid whose earrings were just painted a plain gold-ish color. I also had a problem with Queen Elinor's unboxing, in the sense that there was some plastic sticking out of her head where she was attached to the box. I had to shove it into her head, basically. I had the same problem with my Merida. :/

So I just wanted to give you guys an update on my shipping issue, in case anyone else runs into the same problem. (I was the one who was in too much of a rush to place my order for LE Elsa before she sold out that I didn't notice you needed a code for the free shipping deal.)
I knew I wouldn't be able to call the next day because of work, so I sent customer support an email. They sent me a polite email back saying that I was out of luck.
I figured their call center wouldn't be open on weekends, so I didn't try actually calling them until today. The woman I spoke with said that they couldn't reverse the shipping charge because the order was already processed. (Even though the doll isn't released for another 2 or 3 months...) and that they changed their policy so they can't offer gift cards or refunds after the fact anymore. But then she said as a one-time thing, I could have a $10 gift card e-mailed to me to help cover the cost of shipping. (Shipping for me was $13.) So, I'm happy enough with that. I had been feeling a little bitter about the whole thing (even though I realize it was my fault) because I've spent obscene amounts of money at the Disney Store lately, and the shipping and sales tax added 25% to the doll's cost...But we're all good now :)

Congrats on the Mulan Animator Doll with her pet! My store still has a few Auroras and Cinerellas with their pets last I checked. My store only had LE Anna on display. I hope they get Elsa soon so I can oggle over her. XD
I got my Hans and Kristoff dolls and tiaras in today, yay! :frolic: Disney has gone crazy with the freckles though XD Why do they have to put freckles on ALL the dolls? :P They just look odd to me, especially on Hans. They're ok on Kristoff because they're very light and actually look like freckles. But poor Hans looks like he has acne :lol: I may take some acetone to them...
Did anyone else order the Art of Frozen book? I called Disney to ask why it didn't come in with the rest of the stuff and they said it would be a one to two week shipping time because I guess it's coming from a publisher or something? My Disney Store has the Singing Snow White with the extra outfit on clearance for $14.99, Classic Charlotte for $5.99 and I think Genie was the same price.

For 2012 dolly swap here I bought a Singing Aurora for my swap partner. At the time Disney store in mall was playing "Once upon A Dream" in the store when I bought her. But as I was walking through the mall I kept on hearing "Once Upon a Dream" And I was like gee a lot of stores are playing that song. It wasn't until I got home that a realized it was the doll! LOL!

Ah, so it's just a series that is pricy due to handpainted detail. I still find it hilarious how they portray Tinkerbell as this sweet flowery girl with sexy eyes. I really prefer her original model that has the mischievous eyes that are a little set apart. I'm not a fan of redesigning all Disney girls to look the same...
I think this is a poor representation of Tink as well. I liked the original vain, homicidal Tink that tried to get the lost boys to kill Wendy...Aww I love the tinkerbelle one. 65 a pop is way to expensive for my pocketbook though.

Not as creepy as the toddler Tink but somehow it looks scary. Like she's decorated with all these tiny flowers to make her look innocent, but she's hiding a knife behind her back X)
As far as I know they're not limited. They're just very detailed and beautiful. I guess you're paying for the detail ;) They've very light though, they look heavy but they're not. I think $65 is a fair price for the detailed work :)
Ah, so it's just a series that is pricy due to handpainted detail. I still find it hilarious how they portray Tinkerbell as this sweet flowery girl with sexy eyes. I really prefer her original model that has the mischievous eyes that are a little set apart. I'm not a fan of redesigning all Disney girls to look the same...

Well I'm torn about Tinkerbell-
That is a super cute doll- but she looks like she was based on the recent animated movies, not the original Tink, who has a lot more character.
But she is a gorgeous doll... still.
Zapper - maybe you can switch the head of the doll with an articulated body :) Not sure if it's possible without breaking them though!
From what I have seen online she won't be back on the Disney website til the DVD is released.Yeah, I journeyed out to our closest Disney Store (an outlet that's an hour away). They are completely Elsa-sold-out! The cast member I spoke with says he hasn't seen her since Christmas. He speculates that they are holding everything back until the DVD release.
They are doing a sing along version of the movie starting this weekend.
$59 is more in my limited budget. Anyone know if their (Disney Store) going to do a pre order on the dolls? This would be my first time trying for one. And I've read the horror stories over the other LE lines.They are not up for pre-ordering so you won't have to worry about that. They will be available in stores on the 18th, but there is no information on how they are going to sell them. It's either going to be first come first serve or raffle. Otherwise they will be available online the next day. Which will most likely be at 12am PST. Hopefully we will know sooner rather than later which way it will be.
That's horrid AppleDash1, you should at least get some money back. Considering the cruddy mailing job. Because who in their right mind does that, to an LE doll.

I am so sad :cry:. My husband bought me a 17" LE Ariel on ebay for my Birthday and she came damaged. The seller just stuck her in a flimsy box and only put bubble wrap on 2 sides. So now we are going to be out the return shipping with nothing to show for it because the seller did a crappy job. That is so unfair.

The LE wedding Rapunzels hair does vary quite a bit - for instance I ended up with 3 of them because they were all different in hairstyle /hair length etc ... and I couldnt decide on just one :blush: ( I had to end the end since i couldnt justify keeping them all! - one I kept in my own collection, one I sold to another collector and one is on ebay UK now - I needs monies to buy the next set of LE Anna/Elsa dolls! ). The Rapunzel in those pics has very short hair! :whoa: None of mine have / had hair that short ;)
Merida does have quite a big head but its not as big as the picture makes you think it is - its just that she is closer :P (love the pic BTW! :heart: )

I found out all my Disney Stores are outlets. Luckily I got both designer Zarina and Tink online with free shipping shortly after midnight! WOOOT! They are apparently all sold out on the US website.

Good question! :like: I had to buy mine from another Uker who managed to get some when they were preorded in US... I dont normally do this - I get mine DS UK on release (but I didnt like the odds of me getting any from the UK on the release date for these two Frozen LE dolls! :yikes: ) so I'm unfamiliar with how this works. Do Disney make sure those who preorded (and have to have the dolls shipped) get them shipped before so they arrive for the release date, or do they make them wait until the release date and then ship? :what:

I found Disney Animator Rapunzel at a kid consignment sale today! I don't usually collect these big toddler dolls, but I'm becoming very fond of her. Should I keep her? I saw one going for $17 on ebay, so I could sell her. Not sure what to do! Is she supposed to be bare foot?Yes. She is supposed to be bare foot. Has anyone ever seen the Once Upon a Wedding dolls? I guess there were only Cinderella and Ariel, but they're gorgeous :faint: Not the double pack, but the single ones. Rhini did your second doll arrive? My Anna is here but my Elsa still just says "shipping label created". I think they forgot to send her! I've heard many other people are having this problem where dolls are not getting sent even though a label was created. And it is random too, sometimes Elsa sometimes Anna. And sometimes they ordered two dolls and other times they only ordered one doll.Oh no!! :( I got mine earlier in the week, the day after Anna came. That's really aggravating, I hope it gets figured out.
