Huh...interesting. I see capes, maybe a Monster High superheroish adaptation?? this'll be interesting to see what developes. XD
I really like the character art. It's the best Bratz art I have ever seen (it looks especially magical girl anime-inspired) and the girl with the pigtails and monocle is adooorable.
Also, lets hope this doesn't start another lawsuit of some sort.

Actually, if you look reeeeeally closely, you can see that she doesn't have pigtails -- she has four braids. I thought it was pigtails at first too... I'm not sure how I feel about the braids. XD
Now she looks even more like a Japanese comic book character ala Naoko Takeuchi artwork! Lol Was cuter when I thought they were just braided pigtails though!
The thing I don't really understand is the name. Are they going to be gigantic compared to the Bratz or are they going to have monstrous attitudes like a bridezilla but without the wedding? Also, lets hope this doesn't start another lawsuit of some sort.
I don't think that will happen. If that was possible Hasbro would have sued Mattel over the Little Pretty pets way back when.

Actually Mattel has already taken Hasbro and MGA to court in the past, in fact Mattel has a history of taking other companies, people to court. MGA finally won the rights to make bratz again so they've been in court for a while already fighting mattel.
And if we want to complain about quality in accessories and products we shouldn't forget Mattel is the company of the cardboard accessories and non-functional plastic handbags. At least that has been my experience over the many years I was collecting Barbie.
Personally I don't see a problem with Bratz having a 'monster' themed line. I'm one of the few people that don't really like the Monsters High dolls. Firstly because it's associated with mattel and secondly, the dolls just don't appeal to me so I'd be interested to see how the Bratz line does with the monster theme.
Yeah but Mattel did not take MGA to court because they had a vaguely similar toy. Mattel had accused MGA of hiring a designer who was accused of designing the Bratz on Mattel's company time.
I am not some kind of blind follower of one company or another.

They have in the past taken other companies and private individuals to court for 'vaguely similar toys'. And I do know the reasons given for taking MGA to court, I was just pointing out that they had already done it.
I am not some kind of blind follower of one company or another.
Wasn't accusing you of being that so not sure if you thought I was?
I have a feeling my idea of "vaguely similar" is not the same as your's. These are what I'd consider "vaguely similar". The only thing they have in common with Monster High is that they are "dark fashion dolls"
Is there more info on this line or is it too early to know? I wonder if this will it be a continuation of the Bratz line or if they just use Brat as a play on word for the title.
I really like that one on the far right with the red hair! I may just have to get that one if they get released however judging how similar they are to monster high I would not be surprised if mattel sued before they ever hit stores :P
Wow, the illustrations are really trying to look like MH, it's uncanny. So much so, they don't really resemble the actual dolls. Crazy!
They look like they're wearing wigs...? they have a similar 'floating hair' look as Liv dolls in photos, otherwise they're interesting but not that interesting.
Wigs would be awesome! I just know they're going to have detachable feet, though, so that kinda sucks if you're looking to put the clothes onto a Monster High doll...They might not have detachable feet. They are all closed shoes so we really can't tell but the Moxie Teenz had actual shoes.
Hmm interesting pics. I will wait until I see the dolls in the flesh before I decide if I want to buy them or not.
I really like the artwork for these but will wait until I see them in person. I may get them just to steal the clothes for my MH dolls lol.
...If they fit Bratz, they fit MH. IF THEY FIT MH THEN.. O wO;;;
Also, if you look closely at the shoes on the pink outfit, you can see something skin colored. Feet? Hehe, I knew it.

Found a promo poster for Bratzillaz -- you can see the characters names, which are absolutely awful.Hahaha those naaammmes oh jeebers xD Those are worse than Hasbro's!
And guys I know it might seem like the names are a little odd but the names are associated with the original bratz girls, Cloe, Jade, Sasha and Yasmine. I don't have a problem with the names since I collect bratz and realize it's connecting it to the original girls that started the whole thing.

I cant read the names, can someone tell me what they are??
To be honest I liked the redhead blue caped (Meygana Boomstix I'm assuming) in the first pic that surfaced but now.

A lot different from what I expected. Oh my Goodness I think I want all 5 of them now!!!
I love their little school emblems!! Kinda like an all girls magic academy of witchcraft. XD
Yeah, their names are horrid. I also like how they all kinda have a resemblance to other people. XP
1st one reminds me of 2 face
Princess Merida with a Steam Punk kick
Lady Gaga
the last two I can't remember, but they do strike a similarity somewhere.
Ever click on a topic here about something you're not all that interested in and then leave it, knowing it has cost you? XDThat's basically whats happened to me. XP Only wanted Meygana Boomstix now I want ALL OF THEM!!!
Here is a pic. I love that they have actully feet. They are awesome like that.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/28021890@N07/7407010724/
They have creepy eyes *shudders* but the clothes will fit MH, right? Does anyone know if the shoes fit too?
Finally came into my TRU... HOLY MOLY Meygana's eyes are awesome... GLITTERY!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
Oh God, Meygana. <3 <3 <3 I've been wanting a redheaded doll, and those eyes. Ignore my previous statement, I love these. XD
Okay. I just got Meygana today, and I'm going to be honest... I'm really disappointed. :(
To put it simply, and I'm not exaggerating... She had the absolute worst box hair I've ever seen. Her hair was so dry, matted and frizzy, it made Lagoona's box hair look downright tame. When I washed and brushed it, there was a lot of "dead" hair that came out in handfuls... It was awful. I ended up having to give her a haircut. I'm sure that the only reason her hair was like this was because it was curly -- I'm sure that the straight-haired dolls fared much better. Still, it was incredibly disappointing.
Some other things to note: The earrings are terrible, and they pop out a lot. The peg keeping them in is entirely too short. The calves and feet are made out of a really weird soft plastic, and the knee joints are made out of the same soft plastic, making them really weak. I'm pretty sure the hat and goggles weren't meant to be taken off, as they were sewn onto her head in addition to the elastic, and I'm having a lot of trouble getting them back on in a nice looking way.
Still, it's not all bad. She has beautiful eyes, and her hair is much better now that I cut it. I do like her... I just don't think I'll be getting any more Bratzillaz after this. :( :( :(
Aww that's a big *drops eff bomb* disappointment! >,< Is there a way you can neatly use a seam ripper to separate the seam from the head to the hat?

I have a question for the people who have seen these dolls in person or have bought them. The pictures I have seen in this thread have pets shown, do they actually come with the pet or is the pet just a cardboard cut out?

Just a cardboard cutout. :( I think you have to buy the pet separately. I can't say I'm too disappointed, though, since I've never been a big fan of pets.
Get out of my house!!! :P Just kidding. I must be a product of my Strawberry Shortcake youth; I love dolls that come with pets, especially if they're individualized to the character.
The pets are sold separately; they and the new fashions should be coming out soon. Apparently there's also a playset (a coffee shop), although I'm guessing that will be a holiday release.
I just realized the cardboard image of the doll doesn't reflect the right hair color of the doll. Meygana looks like she's got mousey brown hair in the cardboard, where her hair is fire engine red. Kinda strange.
I found them today at Walmart! So happy! I picked up Meygana and Yasmina [Yasmina is for my daughter].

How much where they at Wal Mart?
This (http://www.toyboxphilosopher.com/2012/07/bratzillaz-meygana-broomstix-by-mga.html) review has a haircut at the bottom, and that haircut is what convinced me to pick up Meygana if she goes on clearance.
Those are target prices? Because I get mine at Walmart. My target doesn't have a good toy selection. So maybe the fashion packs at Walmart will be more like 10.99 or 9.99?
Toys R Us is EXPENSIVE. I don't go there because it's a drive for one.. and I got a MH doll at Walmart for 19.99 that TRU sells for 24.99. It's ridiculous.
I hate going to Walmart because of the dirtiness and crowd feeling of the store.. but they have the BEST toy selection.
Wow, I really like the hair cut on her. Make her face much, much nicer!
EDIT:
Okay, after seeing that, I decided to do some altering of her myself. I was REALLY nervous because I've never dreamed of cutting a dolls hair. I wanted to keep it long, not short, so I just ended up cutting out all the knots after a good conditioning and combing.. so... *holds breathe* here she is!Spoilervisitors can't see pics , please register or login

So... how did I do? Her hair is MUCH softer now. I can run my fingers through it freely and brush it and comb it pretty easily. There's still a bit of a frizz but I like the out of control crazy look because she IS a witch after all! Her top layer of hair is a bit short, I'm afraid, due to me being no expert.. but I guess it's not too bad??? Anyway.. my heart is still racing lol. But I really feel like I made her 'mine' now. Do any other girls from the set have this bad of hair??? I really REALLY don't want to have to do that again! lol
I don't care for these at all, but if the all-pink dress of the doll on the very left ever hits germany as a fashion pack, I'LL SO BUY IT! (these fit MH, yes?)
Has anyone else bought dolls that were missing an earring? I bought Meygana, Jade, and Yasmina yesterday, Meygana and Yasmina were both missing an earring. I didn't think to look for something like that when I was picking them out >_<
I looked everywhere around where I opened them and in the ripped up boxes and couldn't find them, so I don't think they were there in the first place. I did find that the posts on the earrings are annoyingly short, and they can fall out pretty easily, so it wouldn't be too farfetched that they fell out somewhere before packaging
I like how they have sparkly doe eyes instead of the bedroom eyes the old bratz had.Oh my, that link is a little risqué.
I also kinda agree with this post (http://thedickfairy.tumblr.com/post/27793554063/although-i-do-not-like-bratzillas-im-not-going) on tumblr about how monster high is better.
“cloetta spelleta” obviously draws a lot of inspiration from frankie and her asymmetry, from having heterochromia to her two toned outfit, but taking it over the top by making every single detail asymmetrical. and the colors of her clothes and the body chain harness thing she has on remind me of spectra. Two toned outfits, heterochromia, and asymmetry were invented by MH. Yeah totally. And MH can copyright chains apparently.
“meygana” reminds me of robecca; she flies, she has goggles, she has a flying pet with goggles. i mean look at her, their outfits are a lot alike even with the color scheme of dark blue and bronze-y brown. These dolls have been in the works for a LONG time. Doll lines aren't just made overnight. They take planning, designing, testing, etc. Not to mention she's a freaking WITCH!!! Witches FLY on broomsticks!!! Also MH does not own the copyright to "can fly". Ever heard of superheroes? Robecca is such a thief! (I didn't even know she could fly, I thought the point was that she's a robot?)
“yasmina” has an eye of horus on her arm and wears a ton of gold and a thigh pocket (gee that reminds me of cleo) and that doesn’t make sense, seeing as how she’s supposed to have the power to see the future, why would she have a symbol of protection, royal power, and good health (and also a symbol of sacrifice, and restoration)? yeah they should have researched that.Whether or not the Eye of Horus is used incorrectly (I don't know), ancient Egyptian things are not copyright to MH either. Over the years there have been MANY ancient Egyptian inspired dolls, stories, games, etc. My boyfriend's Egyptian city simulator game is not a ripoff of MH, and the gold colored Egyptian sarcophagus I made for a school project eight years ago is not a ripoff of MH.
“jade j’adore” reminds me of draculaura with her hearts and lace and fishnet stuff and whatnot.MH has also copyrighted pink, hearts, and fishnets. They're gonna sue me for owning fishnets and a pink dress. Except that Jade is red, white, and black. She looks like a nurse, not like Draculaura.
and our token brown girl “sashabella paws” is some kind of an animal thing that wears animal prints and fur trimmed things, as usual."As usual", meaning you think more lines than MH made the "token brown girl" into an animal who likes animal print? Good job proving your "ITS A TOTAL MH RIPOFF OMG" wrong in your own post.
they all have the school crest on them, which is equivalent to monster high having the “skullete” somewhere on their clothes. Its called a UNIFORM!!! Ever seen Harry Potter? Speaking of, the school logo is a ripoff of HP and NOT a ripoff of MH. Stop being conceited.
My favorite thing about them is their faces. They are very sweet and innocent looking. The eyes are really neat too. :)Ooh, me too! That's what draws me to them, the big glass eyes and colorful makeup. I love how expressive they are c:
They take amazing photo's because of their eyes! I can't stop photographing mine! >_< :biggrin:That's part of why I want them! I love taking pictures of my dolls, but I try to focus on Liv because I love their eyes and they're what I'm really interested in collecting at the moment. But before I was always taking pics of MH, and although I prefer Liv, I miss how colorful MH are xD A Bratzillaz or two would be the best of both worlds.
Oooo! I love her outfit! Would love to get my hands on that!
I don't care for the face of the regular Bratz though >_< They look too.. grown up for my liking lol.
OMG I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
*dies*
I started off with Meygana, during my fabulous birthday shopping trip last week. I was on the fence ... but once I got her home ... SO MUCH LOVE.
This week I've acquired Sashabella and Clothilda and all I can say is ... PLEASE MAKE MORE CHARACTERS. OMG.
I'll definitely going to get them all. I'm NUTS over these dolls. Right now they are taking priority OVER the new ponies. OMG.
*oops LOL - I've been renaming mine ... I meant to say Yasmina (Clothilda).
Also my Meygana is Rowena. :D
*MORE edit ... do we know when the fashion packs are going to be released? Because I need them ALL! lol
I saw them again! The more i want them, the more I want them!!!!!
Also on the missing earing issue, I saw that Yasmina (yellow eyed, purple haired) had only 1 earring in her left ear, is she the only one that's supposed to come with one earing or was that someone else??
Alright, I guess I'll take your word on it then.
For some reason, as I'm looking at their photos. Am I the only one that thinks their arms seem a bit too long??
do their shoes fit monster high by any chance?
Shoes fit Monster High but Monster High won't fit them without some stretching >_<
They're a tiny bit loose, but they look fine and don't fall off.
My MH dolls had better not become a 'gateway' doll. I can't afford it, and I don't have the room.
No, no, no, no, no! I can't get into these. Kalavista! Why are you doing this to me???? :lol:Nooo don't look!! *Tries to cover your eyes* There....*Glimpses at shot* Ahhh ****...
TY, SparklerGirl! and LOL grzankitter - my MH were definitely my gateway dolls. I NEVER liked dolls before MH, not even when I was a kid. Now? Bratzillaz are actually taking precedence over PONIES. omg.
Luvly - they're $19.99 at my local TRU. :DEeee! Thanks!!

Bratzillaz are actually taking precedence over PONIES. omg. That's also basically what happened to my pony collecting. XD Once I discovered MH, it was just MLP & MH but once I got into Moxie Girlz, it was MH, MG, & MLP in that order, MH being top priority, then Livs, MLP is at a complete standstill. Mostly because of the distribution sucks, so now it's MH, MG/Liv Then MLP, with MLP being the last one's because its easily fast enough to get caught up with since they're cheap and once you find one, you'll most likely find the rest of that wave. XP

This is true for me too! I mean, if I could find Trixie and Lyra in stores right now, I'd be out of my mind scrambling to get them! But since it's taking forever for stuff to get released...
Plus maybe I'm a person who's making up for lost time, since I loathed dolls of all kinds until MH came out.
Bratzillaz are really special, though. I was actually contemplating purchasing my first Pullip - until I started collecting the 'Zillaz. These witches are everything I've been wanting in a doll and I'm NUTS about them!!
Is anyone else put off by Cloetta's two-toned eyes? I mean, I LOVE pink, black, and white - so you'd think she'd be the first one I purchased. But I just don't like her eyes. I can repaint her lips but I'm stuck with the eyes.
*edit*
Never mind. I just found THIS pic of Cloetta. I'm sold. Will be getting her this week. :D

Yes, same. I need some nice floating shelves above the ponies for my dolls. I'm running out of room and my girls are all drowning among the ponies..Dollies have taken over!I feel you on this one oh goodness.. ;____;
Ditto! All the shelves in my closet are packed with MH and La Dee Da. Then I have some tables cluttered with Bratzillaz and even more MH! I need to funnel some of my dolly funds into shelving units :/
Just curious. :ninja: Would like to also know has anyone repainted Cloettas' lips to be one colour? her eyes look cool but not sure about the lippy.
Thank you Kala! She is beautiful. So much better with her lippy done like that, too :)

I believe they have! They come packaged with their pets as well in the UK, unlike in North America/elsewhere(?) where the pet is sold separately. I think someone said they retail there for £20?

*puts hand over ears* can't hear you.... :P
Seriously though, £24 and with that crappy review I may wait until they go on sale or I find one in a charity shop...
Are their eyes often skewiff? I haven't noticed any of the pics people have posted here with wonky peepers...

Has everyone seen this? Looks like Bratzillaz is getting its own web series like Monster High. I thought that it was pretty cute.

Is it weird I just want their heads? I love the eyes, and the hair COLOR, if not texture. *sigh* Why do their eyes have to be so awesome? I didn't even like Yasmina's, until I browsed that link.

Haha thats funny!! Cause I wanna buy one and steal the body. I love that they have feet.
I think it's the hair quality that will keep me away, too. Also, not impressed that their pets are sold separately.
I heard in Wal*Mart the other day "Look! It's the Bratz dolls dressed like Monster High girls! Look at Yasmin in her Monster High outfit! Here is Jade in a Monster High outfit" The mom was going on and on. I just giggled to myself.
The MH outfits ARE much better made, and so are the pets. But I still love the Bratzillaz. :)
I love the witch theme and it's nice to have something new to look for in the toy aisle. I lost interest in MLP with the advent of the G4s, and am feeling burned out on MH as well. Personally, I never cared about all the little "extras" in the packages, like brushes and accessories. I always just throw those away, so things like pets don't matter to me. And for some reason the hair that is causing so many complaints doesn't bother me either. I think because I'm not looking to "collect" these girls like I was with MH. I'm just buying them for fun, to play with. :)

We'll go in thirds you guys can get the heads and bodies, I get dibs on the outfits!
Also, do the fashion packs fit MH? I'm thinking Jade's would looks cute on a CAM.
holiday cracker.:lmao:
More expensive? They are sooo much cheaper than MH here. That's so weird! Oh man, we're going to Walmart in like...a a ahlf hour and I reaally want Jade but.... I only have like 30$ til next thursday. Iunno what I'm going to do. WHY DO DOLLS EXIST!?!?
Some stores don't carry Sashabella because she is "ethnic" and they think she won't sell well. MGA for some reason I can't understand always packs their "ethnic" doll separately. I think it might have something to do with using the same cases for the European market.:( Really? That's lame! If that's the case, I don't see why they don't put her in the same box with the other girls. Or even bother to say "Hey there's a doll for her, too! " when a lot of stores won't get her. I'm pretty sure she would sell well - I don't think she'd be the doll that would be a "shelf-warmer". xD

Looks like I may have to go to the online route to get her, unless I get lucky and find her on a shelf.

They still get carried at some stores but they tend to be the ones in more "urban" areas. Oh and TRU seems to be pretty good about carrying the "ethnic" MGA dolls but that could be just because they are less widespread.I wanna say my area is "urban", or at least parts of it are. I know we have four Walmarts in my city, and at least two of them are in "urban" areas (i feel so weird using "urban" like that. O_o)
gah! I don't collect dolls, but every time I'm in the store I want to buy Yasmine and Meygana! and that black and red witch outfitLol, Meygana and Jade keep tempting me! But not until I find miss Sashabells first. I won't be surprised if I end up buying all five of the girls. xD
oi! what am I to do? lol
Fyi, ALL Bratzillaz are currently available for $19.99 on Amazon. I ordered Sashabella. :)You rock! Thanks for the heads up!
I've seen all but sashabella in stores.
it'll be slightly cheaper for me to get them on amazon anyway....so tempted, especially now that i've seen the red and black fashion outfit!
also, I saw a picture of a MH doll wearing a Bratzillas outfit....can Bratzillas wear MH outfits?
Not that anyone cares, but I think that Bratzillaz are rooted with polypropylene. I got Frost Bite from Retro Dolls US, and it was the EXACT color and texture of Jade. ^^That's awesome Panda! Thanks for letting me know :D
Guess who came home with me today??

SASHABELLA! My TRU had at least three of her. I am so excited! She is my first Bratzilla doll! She is super cute, but her hair was stitched into the box so much that now it is a bit of a mess! Also, she is a little too tall for her stand. That's a little weird. I don't know how my Monster High ghouls are going to accept her, though......
New dolls!

I want sashabella's swimsuit!! Quick reminder please, MH Fits Bratzillas clothes perfectly? or is it slightly loose? Would Sashabella's Swimsuit fit well on a MH doll??Tops might be a tad loose on a MH gal, but nothing super terrible to work with.
Costco had a whole, tall palette of signature Bratzillas but out of all of them, no Sashabella wtf??
I hope the painted eyes are just for budget lines only. I love my MH but my Bratizillaz display nicely with them as well as my Livs. I also think the Bratzillaz' faces although much simpler than the MH girls are very soft and sweet in contrast. If the whole line goes to non-articulation and painted eyes I will no longer be buying them.
I really don't understand MGA sometimes. They are capable of doing beautiful and creative dolls like the Lalaloopsy line and yet they do silly things like taking away the very things that made some of their dolls appealing. Why create the Bratzillaz the way they are if they're going to turn them into boring static dolls? You don't see MH giving us non-articulated dolls with their budget lines. The Dance Class and Rollermaze dolls were budget yet still very creative. Perfect dolls for redressing really. And in many cases the dolls are just as stunning if not more than their 'basic' and 'deluxe' counterparts. Even the regular Bratz lines; while not a big fan, their decisions baffle me. Upcoming lines are going to be 'taller'. Why? I like the shorter proportions of the Bratz, they're different from Barbie and MH and one of the few things I like about them. Why can't MGA focus on things collectors actually want; like better hair instead of the crap nylon they insist on using on just about every line?
I saw the bathing suit line today at Walmart. The outfits are cute and they have sunglasses. I did notice there are glass eyes on most of them and on the back was a blue hair mermaidish doll they are hopefully going to release soon.
I looked and looked for the blue haired one for my daughter, but I didn't see her
http://bratzillaz.wikia.com/wiki/Fianna_Fins
I might collect some of them, I like the style and flair they have. They also are affordable dolls that are "not platinum blonde standard doll *glances at Barbie*"
I think those are the budget dolls who have their articulations taken away and their glass eyes replaced with painted ones. >,<;
Yeah, I've seen the budget Brazillas, and oh my goodness, they look scary. >,<; differnt face sculpt, different mouth shape/paintjob, scary eyes. >,< They looked like fakies.
Not the beach line, I thought those looked cool. :P I was referring to the ones that had their articulation and glass eyes taken away. XD
I'm really kind of upset that the doll for Vampelina isn't going to look anywhere near as good as this art....
This line is just getting better and better. But I can't afford to collect them.
I am wondering if anyone else feels this way..... One of the things that never really set me off for this set is the dolls' legs. They have a weird shape when compared to other dolls, like MH. I have Jade J'Adore (the original) and I noticed it with her legs. They look kinda weird. What about you guys?
If their legs were better, I'd probably be buying more of this line.
I saw the "cheap" version of Sashabella...her "pants" are jsut her legs in black (painted or colored vinyl). the eyes are not bad, but the whole doll looks very cheap
I also saw the Night Out set (most of them) and Jade's pink on pink eyes are to die for - I need an extra of that one for customizing!
Agreed, the bottom half of the legs are odd. Other than that I really like the Bratzillaz. Only have two and am holding out for the vampire girl in the Magic Night Out line and maybe the GID mermaid.
Love the Switch-a-Witch set, that name is priceless! Plus I love afro-haired dolls and the crazy clown wig is a must! I wonder if the wigs or shoes would be workable on the MH CAMs? That'd be awesome if they did.
It's a rip-off for sure but toy companies have always done that. Heck, Mattel's mainstay, Barbie was nothing but a rip-off of the German Bild Lili doll. It's pretty common knowledge that Ruth Handler had been wanting to make a 3D version of a paper doll (basically a more adult looking female doll to exploit that kind of fashion play) and bought a few Bild Lilis in Germany on vacation. She brought them to the Mattel factory and basically said "Copy this". The rest is history. And of course the whole MGA/Mattel mess with Bratz. No getting around the fact that My Scene were nothing but a Bratz rip-off. What's funny is that the designer of Bratz said he was influenced by that famous Steve Madden campaign where the human models were photoshopped with big heads and giant feet to give them a cartoony look. The photographer of that campaign said he'd been influenced by the Kenner Blythe doll, the OG big-headed gal.. ;) And going back in Blythe's history, Allison Katzman, who designed Blythe for Kenner back in the day was influenced by Betty Boop. Katzman also wanted a doll that combined the fashion play of Barbie with the hairplay of the old Barbie styling heads. Hence a doll that could be dressed with a head big enough for little girls to handle styling the hair.
In the end the competition is a good thing and maybe Mattel will step up and do the CAM sets and CAM add on packs correctly by offering all the parts like the Switch-a-Witch sets will.
So I bought another one of these. I didn't realize that it was Jade J'Adore until I got home. I have the wave 1 version, and this is the Magic Night Out version of her.
She has pink hair. I can NEVER resist dolls with pink hair.

Switch a witch set unboxed! I love love love the black and white one.
SAW (switch-a-witch) pics and review! I just opened them several hours ago and took this quick set of comparison shots.. :)

Love them and they have different body molds!
wow 3 different types of body molds. What Mattel took years to do with MH, they did in one release. :P
Still not a big fan of the Picasso theme they got going. >,<;
I don't get why some people are complaining about the price of the SaW sets when you can make 2 complete regular dolls that aren't even missing anything. I mean I know the CaMs are cheaper but I have always wondered how they can offer 2 dolls (at least once they started adding torsos) for less than what the individual dolls cost.
The detailing isn't nearly as intricate on the CaMs. And the wigs are cheap quality, and allow them to bypass the rooting and styling that the main dolls have. Also, the clothing tends to be cheaper quality, and they have zero accessories, jewelry, etc.
They are anywhere from $25-29.99US.
Actually I find their quality to be just as good as the CAM sets. No, there aren't the details like fins, scaling and all that but the plastic is solid and very rubbery but a good rubbery. I don't think a SAW Zilla would break if you dropped her. The only thing I don't like is that the hands on all the Zillaz are like mittens..I wish their hand sculpts were more graceful. And..because the parts come off their legs can pivot at the knee like MH and Fashionistas!
As for the clothes, the designs aren't as edgy as MH but the fabrics are nicer and the wigs, all 3 are saran and much nicer than the first few CAM sets. It's only the two latest sets, the Mummy/Gorgon and the Ice/Blob Girls that have nice wigs. The wigs that came with the first two CAM sets were IMO, crap. Where SAW lacks is the design of the shoes, accessories etc.

Love them and they have different body molds!
OMG, thank you for posting those pictures; I've been looking for exactly that kind of photo review. I've been hemming and hawing over whether to keep the SAW set I picked up yesterday, 'cause I wasn't sure I'd like them enough out of the box to justify spending the money. I didn't even notice that the body types are different! That is so freaking awesome!! Kudos to MGA for that; I wish more doll lines would give us different body types.
It is odd to me that they're sticking so hard with the split color theme with the SAWs, especially since they're also using the same colors on some of the dolls. There's only six SAW dolls, but there are already two yellow/white and two blue/white? It's like they got lazy with them already or something.
Actually I think there are only five SaW dolls. There is the first 2 pack with the black/white and the pink/green dolls, the single yellow/white doll, and it looks like a second 2 pack is on the way with a blue/white and a pink/white doll.
They are anywhere from $25-29.99US.

There's definitely six different dolls pictured on the back of the SAW pack I bought. There's the three that are out now and three more pictured under the words "Coming Soon!" The three that aren't out yet all have a colored shape over one eye. I was wrong about the two blue though, they have some of the blue parts on the pink doll and that threw off my eye. Still don't get why they'd make another yellow and white one though.
Lastly, for fun! My blob girl tried on the afro wig from the SAW 2 pack, win!

crimsondeity..*hug*
I love my MH ghouls..and like you I think MH is a much better franchise, more thought out, more detail etc, etc. But..I've been loving Vampelina and the SAW witches! I dunno, I think because they are more 'blank' to me I have more fun creating stories and characters for them. With MH I feel as even my favs still retain alot of their characteristics from the webisodes, specials and journals. Except for the CAMs of course. Plus I totally admit because of Blythe and Pullip/Dal I'm spoiled because of the inset eyes! I love that the eyes give them so much personality in photos!
If MH ever do ghouls with inset eyes I would be lost for sure! That would be so bad for my bank account..

I've had to pass on so many MH dolls because I deemed their painted eyes crooked. I wonder how wonkily-set inset MH eyes would be lol.

This prompted me to look up MH customs with inset eyes.... they look AMAZING.
I ordered my Fianna from Target.com and LOVE. HER. Haven't seen her in any stores yet, though.
Love her in Meygana's fashon pack!

I am not crazy about the 1st wave 2-pack of SAW... but I'm rather fond of the singleton:

I'm totally going to pick up another one and try to construct an all-white version, though. Her face and torso are base white, painted yellow - so some acetone should clear that up!
No Vampelina around here yet... ARGH!!

Okay, so it seemed like they short-changed Sashabella in the early releases of the original dolls. Now there are boxes and shelf labels for just her. Think the same thing could happen with Vampelina and Fianna? I am just DYING to get my hands on a Vampelina. *whiny voice*

It's funny you say that. Today in my hunting I saw a row full of Sasha and thought that was STRANGE because I remember everyone freaking out looking for her :P Kinda cleared up my "Huh?" moment

Sasha/Sashabella is typically shipped in her own case. Why MGA does this is beyond me, because it does NOT go over well in the doll community; aside from smacking of racial segregation, the character is pretty popular. Anyway, since the character (or characters, since Sashabella is supposed to be a separate character) is in her own case, she gets her own product code and shelf slot.
As time goes on, I think the new characters will become easier to find, especially if the case assortment is changed up. I'm not really sure how companies decide which dolls will be double packed, but I suspect that part of the reason new characters are typically short-packed is to gauge how popular the character will be.

Would this also include Sasha from the Styling Starz line? I've been searching high and low for her! Finally bought her on Ebay. All my stores still have piles of the rest of them
Sorry for the confusion about the names  I just refer to the girls by their shortened names because I haven't taken the time to get to know them and I find them to be kinda ridiculous. Plus my spelling is SO very bad! Wish the Arena had spell check! Not that that would help me with crazy bratzillaz names
I think it is more that in certain parts of Europe, dark skinned dolls don't really sell well at all and MGA doesn't want to bother having a different case configuration for Europe. (Like Mattel does with the Princesses, the Europe ones never have Tiana or Jasmine) Of course they could just do a case with all of the others and Sasha and then a case of all the others minus Sasha but I'm guessing the configuration they have now gets the most store orders. (MGA seems very money motivated for some reason)

Retailers here have not stocked Sashabella at all, it's always the case containing the other dolls. I'm not sure exactly why, I have heard things along the lines of retailers and/or local MGA branch saying African-American dolls just don't sell as well here as the reasoning, but I can't be sure on that (seems stupid seeing as Clawdeens in MH have no problem flying off the shelves).
I don't collect these dolls but I've seen Vampelina a couple of times in my local Wal Mart. I think there were 2 or 3 the last time I was there. I'll keep an eye out for her.
Is there any kind of direct to dvd movie or TV special planned for these gals does anyone know?
I've only been collecting them a week and I'm head over heels wanting more!
Until I get my hands on Fianna and Vampelina, the only fix I can get are the pets and after I have those...nothing
I don't have an answer for you just a big  because I feel the same way. Totally addicted now :)AWWWWW thanks   back.
I'll spam some with Vampelina a little bit later tonight :)Can't wait for the VampSpam!

I guess so, I even double checked TRU the other day...VA seems to be last to get everything sometimes...
Apparently our state is one of the last to get Fianna and Vampelina because I haven't found them either :(

Anyone in Canada find Fianna or Vampelina yet? In my area they only just got the Switch-A-Witches in, and just the other basic beach dolls.
Have there been any teases/hints for upcoming Bratzillaz themed lines recently? It's been a while since Magic Night Out was released and I'm excited to see what else they have in the works (that isn't Switch-A-Witch). xD
I bought my Fianna online. Never seen either one in stores :(
I still owe you guys pictures of her too! Oops! Maybe this afternoon. My life has been crazy lately.

Zapper, I can tell you that the MNO line is much, much better than the First Waves and the new rereleases of the MB girls with saran hair are fabby!

Oh look, after the vampire witch they now have a Chinese dragon witch. Mhh, I wonder what dolls inspired those? (Sorry, I do love me some Bratzillaz vs Monster High) ;)
I actually think the new character has a cool color scheme and even though the promo pics are very blurry, the Witchy Glam line looks interesting as well! I'm also a fan of the new SaW with golden eyes.
I'm just glad I really hate how they're all same-face and chop-hands, because if their molds looked a bit more diverse I know I'd have to get a few of them and I really can't afford even more dolls
But... "never say never", maybe Bratzillaz will continue improving on quality and design and I'll end up with some by the end of the year XD
Oh, and is it just me or does the girl in red and black (even Wydowna's colors, hehe) look like she has four arms and a ladybug pet?
MGA, you lil bastards! Gotta hand it to them, it's pretty clever to have a multi-limbed doll as part of an in-store line when the enemy has their product as an overpriced SDCC doll *cough*
An insect witch makes even less sense than a vampire witch to me, but I might consider getting her out of spite. I'm immature like that and I want a red and black multi-limbed dolly, so...
Not sure if you keep up with the Novi Stars line, but one of the dolls already out here in the U.S. is four-armed.
I haven't been able to check TRU for them, but my walmart and target still do not have Vampelina for fianna, but they have ALL of the other dolls including the SAW sets.Yeah, my walmart has ALL the other MNOs as well as SAWs but still no Vampellina or Fianna.. guess its just the luck of the draw
So I finally caved. Argh! TrU had the original Bratzillas for $9.99 and I snagged Megyana. OMG that hair!! an hour of washing, conditioning, trimming and straightening the worst box hair known to man....and she is passable. Love the outift!Meygana's hair is by fair the worst, but her outfit/character is IMO by far the best! wait til you pick up the later/better versions of her, especially Midnight beach, her air is MUCH nicer and the design is AWESOME.
I saw these on flickr. I need that pink girl with her funny birdcage and her fierce eyebrows and her black lips in my life! All 3 are lovely but Miss Pinky is win!
Found these on tumblr! They're part of the Glam Gets Royal line. They're kind of cute! Not a fan of the bird cages though. So a steam-punk meets glam? Interesting! I actually like the bird cages...

Oh no! Another one followed me home! I've always like Vampelina, I couldn't resist.Isn't she the best?! LURVE her hair, CSA you and I have such similar tastes in dollies! and I'm not ust saying that, seems we have the same faves...Too funny that she "folowed " you, I'm going to use that excuse next time too!
Lol Hefty! I do need to fix her hair, I've never seen packaging be more of a horror.I had the EXACT same problem! I washed and conditioned her and she was fine though...I do wish her red and black strands were still seperated, but she still ooks good "blended"
Couldn't resist...Vampelina after her salon trip:She looks so much better, I think she is my fave 'Zilla...tho if I had fianna fins she'd give her a run for her money!

I'm kind of concerned for the future of this line.
According to [a fan page] on Facebook:
"Toys R Us (US stores) has canceled selling this line at their stores, Target is "carefully considering" (?????) selling Witchy Princesses at their stores, Wal-Mart we have no idea what they're planning and K-Mart is pretty much useless at this point"
what happened to the dark hair on the first two and dark eyeshadow on the last? I'll wait to see them in person. I like aspects of them...
The final results are so disappointing. I would have gotten them for sure if they were just like the promo. Oh well. More money towards other stuff.
The original nylon-haired girls were $24.99 here and I just Could Not Do It at that price, when that buys me a MH doll instead XD
Oh wow, she is striking! Does she have glass or painted eyes? She has the glass eyes :)
I bought the SAW sets today at Target (yellow/white body single and the green/pink/black/white double) b/c they were on super clearance! My niece and I shared this set together to make our own dolls and notices this too. What a time to introduce different body types.
on putting them together I noticed that the green/pink legs are shorter and thicker than the black/white legs in the double set. I noticed b/c I put one from "each" on the different dolls. It can be hidden with careful positioning, but that's frustrating! We're supposed to be able to mix and match with SAW right? Then why are the pieces not all the same size!?

I went through the entire Bratzillaz section (finding Beach dolls EVERYWHERE ) to find the saran haired dolls and not the Nylon ones (thanks for the tip angelfish!)!
..............
Lastly, little tip, if you want any of the new MB releases with saran and can't tell the difference in the box just look at the brush. The brushes in the first release have the bristles facing the inside of the box whereas the saran rereleases have the bristles facing forward so you can see them.. :)
..............
My friend got the new Victoria Antique from target.com when it was available. The doll is really cute. She said that she's pretty sure that Victoria has saran hair, but she isn't going to be taking it down :lol:Gorgeous! I'd get this doll- I do love the Bratzillas with their glass eyes- I like the design of the MH dolls a bit more I think EXCEPT the eyes on Bratzillas are a far cry better.

I'm seeing a lot of clearance dolls lately. They're not canceling the line are they? I'm holding out for the spider and I'm hoping she gets released. Does anyone have any pictures of her or any info?
I have a question for any Canadians in this thread - has Fianna Fins and/or Vampelina popped up in any stores? I haven't seen either of them anywhere, and they're the only releases I'm interested in!
I saw the 3 witch princesses at Target todayI feel that way too. It's not even the style that bothers me. They just look wrinkled and already well worn.
I like their faces and eyes, but I'm very disappointed in the difference between their actual outfits and the ones on the box art/prototypes
at $16.99 I didn't pick any up
