I don't need to start buying another line of dolls but I have been interested in these for awhile. I really like Fianna Fins.  :lovey:

Soooo I bought my first Bratz(illa) item today.. the cat/dog style pet. :>

I'm was a huge CatDog (the cartoon) nut when I was younger, so when I saw it in store today I picked it up.
It's cute, but I must say at the price (€8.99) I'm really a bit bummed about the quality. :c
It had some yellow icky glue around the speaker and on the back of the cat's head that I had to sand off, and the dog's head is a very different kind of plastic, which I hope won't turn a severely different colour in just a matter of weeks. x_x (this has happened with two Polly Pocket Pet Lambs that I once owned and then threw out soon after b/c they had developed SEVERE head-body mismatch. x_x)

But this is all minor.. the biggest bummer BY FAR is that the legs.. are.. hollow.. and open on the inner side?? WHAT? :O ..it just looks real cheap and sad. I stupidly did not notice before ripping it open, so no returning it now. -_-
I suppose I will fill it with Apoxie but.. but.. huge disappointment here! ;_;
Being used the MH quality I was honestly disappointed.. oh well. I don't know about the actual dolls, but I guess I won't buy any more pets. :7

Sorry to be such a grump, but I just had to vent.. xD;

Ugh, that sucks Fraulein_Kim. I've been giving the pets a pretty wide berth myself. To be something that you have to buy separately I don't find them particularly appealing. They're more strange than anything. I love the idea of Meygana's pet, but the actual figure is fugly.  >_<

Thanks binary..
Yeah, I myself try to stay away from the dolls, since I need another collection like I need another hole in the head xD + I have my hands full with MH. ;)
But I was totally looking forward to the pets when I saw the artwork. ;o;

But yes.. I can not recommend buying them now. Sadly. At least not for that price.. maybe if I find them secondhand some time I'd pick up more, but not for retail. They're just not very well made.
(and I agree, the sculpting is.. not very fabulous, to say the least. I'm in the 3D/Moldmaking-industry as well, so I think I can judge it.) :/

BratzHeaven is usually right about new doll rumors, right? They are saying now that Bratzillaz are gonna have "Switch a witch- packs" which are similar to Monster highs Create a monster- packs  :)

Here is the listing in Targets system:
https://twitter.com/BratzHeaven/status/292160903661637632/photo/1

And BratzHeavens comment n Facebook:

"Bratz Heaven: Obviously this is MGAE's answer to Mattel's Monster High Create-A-Monster thing...UPCs for this is 035051518068 and 035051518075, the dolls have interchangeable arms, legs, hands, wigs, faces, etc. There will also be Switch-A-Witch accessory packs, just like what they have for Create-A-Monster...since we're not into the "Design Your Own Bratz" thing, there probably aren't any plans for us to get this (at least, until we see what this Switch-A-Witch thing looks like)...

Dear lord...to a lot of things Bratzilla related. >,<;

Just when I thought I was able to resist them (which I still am) my walmart finally has "Signature" Sashabella Paws, which is surprising, AND Makes collecting these more tempting. >,<

I'm watching the Webisodes, and the more I'm watching them, the more I'm getting more tempted in getting them! I love their characteristics and personality in the webisodes. >,<;

Now they're gonna have a build-a-witch?! :faint:

They just look so amazing and tempting that the floodgates are slowly opening....and I'm just staring at it, not doing a thing!!

*Quickly closes floodgates* I'm still resisting them, but they are very tempting. :P

And cue the "UMG they are copying MH comments!" despite Bratz having the "Design you Own" Bratz thing before MH even existed.

I bought Cloetta Spelletta today and while she's fab, I realized after I opened her that her eyes are wonky. One pupil is positioned higher than the other. My Jade also has eye wonk where one of her heart pupils is positioned tilted to one side. Is there any way for me to fix these issues? Maybe take off their heads and manipulate the eyeballs somehow? Any advice?

Wow, Switch-A-Witch. lol that's so weird sounding and funny at the same time, but do they all have to look like Picasso paintings with the split colors and stuff?? XD

It is pretty obviously a bit of a rip off there.

BUT

Is anyone giggling that Bratzilliza got it right by including enough parts to make two dolls right away.
Learning from Mattel's mistakes!

EDIT: The more I look at it....the more I'll probably end up with a pack.

I don't really collect Bratzillaz, but I do like the look of the SAW pack. :) (Though, I'm a huge fan of CAM, so that might be a reason why...)

This line is just getting better and better. But I can't afford to collect them.

I am wondering if anyone else feels this way..... One of the things that never really set me off for this set is the dolls' legs. They have a weird shape when compared to other dolls, like MH. I have Jade J'Adore (the original) and I noticed it with her legs. They look kinda weird. What about you guys?
If their legs were better, I'd probably be buying more of this line.

Their legs are weird and jelly-like (my dolls can never stand straight because calves-down, they are made of a more rubbery material than the thighs) and their hips are super stubby too... :shrug:

Their eyes are just so beautiful though. :cool:
