Take out your bug net and get a distance away from them just outside of "initiate a conversation" range and hit the 'A' button! You'll catch the flea with your net and they'll thank you for curing their itch. ^_^

I overhauled my Catalog spreadsheet.
So I was thinking we could do a round robin catalog session if people are interested. Basically, everyone who joins in brings their own items for everyone else to catalog and we make a system so that everyone gets a chance to catalog all of the items they need. I had an idea that we could do it by columns, so each person makes a column of items and then they start cataloguing the column to the right of theirs, so then when it's over everyone will have gone through every column and ended up back at their own column of items.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I hate to say this, but I think I've reached the burnout point on this game. :( Has anyone else? I don't want to get tired of it yet! It's a long time before a game I really want comes out.I do get a bit tired of the game (especially because I am trying not to time travel yet, and a tad impatient on a few things), but I feel what helps is taking breaks with it and not playing it all day. Or find things to do in it, like making "goals" of sorts. Having friends over helps makes it more fun as well! :D

Poor guy was just doing his job, but he scared too many kids IRL so they made him "optional" in this game and toned him down. He never scared me in past games, but I do remember in the first one when he pulled that pretty mean reset prank on the player if you did it too many times...

Milky - I get off work at 6AM. I go to bed around 9-10AM and repeat the cycle. On my nights off I tend to fall asleep at night and get back to a normal circadian rhythm only to destroy it once I go back to work.Ah I get it. I've had a semi-night before and it really sucked. I think Sora is right on the money about the Stained-Glass Lamp you saw being customized. According to the guide, the lamp is available from Timmy & Tommy, which means it should be reorderable.

^^Pretty much, it involves going to a friend's town, dropping off an item, trying to leave the town, and when the save animation appears, you shut off the 3DS wifi after one and a half loops. If done right, both you and the other people should have the items in your inventory. That's the barebones version of it. xD

You can get them to move by going to Town Hall and saying there are troublesome villagers O.O at least that's what I didThat doesn't get villagers to move - all it does is "resets" them, in case they moved into your town from someone else that had decided to give them inappropriate things for their saying, or wearing a naughty custom shirt.

If you did, the time capsule will usually pop back up after a month (ish) in the same spot so you can give it to them.

Has anyone grown an attachment to their original villagers? I still have my original ten, just one I want to get rid of it. I know I should let some go but I don't want to. I must be weird.
I'm quite fond of Blanche, who was one of my first villagers. Two of them already left (Rory and Pate), and i do have Bettina and Drake, but they don't compare to Blanche. xD
I wouldn't say it's weird. I think that kinda is the point with Animal Crossing - you becoming fond of (some of) your villagers that you get really sad if they move away, or ask to move. At least New Leaf gives you the chance to keep them in your village if they are thinking of moving - I remember in the first game, they would just up and leave without warning.

And here's something of a "fun fact" i found out last night about villagers moving in/ out : your game keeps track of the last 16 villagers that have moved out of your town. If said villager is on the 16 list, they cant move back into your town until they are gone off the list (by having more villagers move out).
I managed to hold onto all my original villagers and one new villager I've grown attached to (Pashmina.)
My only orange rose died and I'm trying to save it. In the mean time does anyone have any orange roses?

i believe you just have to have your DS in sleep mode, it wont work if you have your ds open and are playing. so what i do, every time i leave the house i just make sure my ds is charged and i turn it on and close it and just toss it in my bag so it picks up eanyone else near enough. and im pretty sure its exactly how the relay points work too.
this is exciting for me because i live in a smaller town xD iv only picked up about half a dozen streetpass so far.
I think your Walt actually moved to my town! He mentions another town name and whistles its tune (like Pate does with Pallet), but can't remember the name off the top of my head. I didn't send him letters or talk to him when he was packing boxes, so I guess it's just something that can randomly happen among friends who visit each other's towns.

:3 Yeah I knew it had to be closed. I just... read somewhere you had to connect the the internet at the relay place.... which I don't mind going by a place, but I don't wanna log in.
But ya know, then that doesn't make sense since the 3DS has to be closed. Hm. I am excited to try different places in hopes to get more street passes. I do get them (like in traffic 9__9 or the flea market), but it's been awhile...

I'm terrified to say goodbye in case he decides to change his mind about leaving, which is what he did the last time I talked to him and said 'take care'.If he is packed up already in boxes (like when you start the game up, Isabelle mentions him leaving), he WILL leave still and not change his mind. Lon-san, it's okay with me! You could have also kept the items you bought, but I understand why you didnt.:) When I open my gates, i generally say that it's okay to go shopping and buy whatever you want to get. :)
At times when I do buy things from my store, i genereally leave them by the gate so people can catalog them, if need be. :)
I hope Pecan shows up in my campsite once i get free room. Loved her in the first game, even if she was a real Jerk at times. xD But I also want Phoebe, Maple, and Marshal to appear as well.

Oh! Also, about the fake paintings: I sometimes send them back to the villager than sent them to me. I sent Pietro's fake back to him with a letter that consisted of the first few lines of the English Pokemon theme song and he thanked me for the wonderful gift.
