Anyway, so how does getting someone's animal from another town work? Big top wants to move (sad face, I like Big Top but since I have his picture (without trying!) I guess he can go).

Is it talking to any him anytime after I tell him to move -- or is it when he has his boxes all packed in his house?

bandit I have no idea but I think i've heard you have to talk to them when they're packed up. I could be wrong though.

Well, looks like Jitters is moving out soon. I just hope a 10th villager doesn't immediately decide to move in after he's left >_>;

To get a villager from another town, you have to go and talk to them on the day they're moving out (have their boxes packed). If you have an opening in your town, they should eventually be an option to invite them to yours. 


...and Winnie just tried to move out. i said no, but I exit without saving to see if she asks again or if another villager will ask.  Wanna try something out.
...plus, I think Winnie may be a good luck charm when it comes to villagers moving in.

I tend to leave my DS with wifi on open while I work (I do a lot of computer work at home) so you can wander around. I won't be able to respond to messages or be wandering around the town though.

I finally got the island unlocked so I can get more bells and upgrade my tools! Yay!

Apollo...  GUNNA IGNORE HIM. Which oddly enough I have been lately.

But I didn't ignore Big Top. But my 2nd player doesn't play too much, and doesn't chat to villagers very often. So. Everyone really gets ignored, lol.


edit: my big bro says maybe that's not completely true. He's ignored someone since the start of the game, and they ar still there. :/ Not sure if maybe he talks to them once or twice to get up that friendship thing or not. (Like lost item?)

Agreed, I've been ignoring Violet since day 1 as well as 2 other villagers (spoke once, then never again) but they still won't leave :/

I got a friendship up with Rasher, then for 5 days did not talk to him,send him mail, if someone sent me something to deliver to him, I opened it and kept it for myself...and then he told me he is leaving and he is leaving tomorrow..so I think..if you be their friend for about..10 days...then just DROP THEM like a hat...then they will leave. That is also what I did to Quillson.

I think this is what happened when Rory was still in my town. I would talk to him alot, stopped talking to him for at least a week[-ish], and then he told me he was planning to move away.

Plus, I had found out that nearly every 2 to 4 days, one villager at random will mention moving away. And it seems that the villager is "set" for that particular day. I reset my game (aka exit without saving) at least...ten times today, and whenever Winnie would come running to me, it would always be about her thinking of moving away. At least over five times whenever I'd walk by her and she'd run up to me.
