I HAVE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After my new 3DS gets done charging I'm going to start trying to figure things out. I have no clue what I'm doing but I'm excited!

Hmm, bandit, would you be willing to let me store some flowers in your town for today? I'm switching tonight so i'd be able to pick them up tomorrow. I'd be happy to give you a fair amount of flowers too, I have soo many hybrids >.<

Oh, and if anyone has advice for figuring out what the heck I'm supposed to do or places to go to figure it out, I'd appreciate it. Especially if there's any advice on how to get these hamsters people keep telling me are in there!

Kaos ^^ This game is so hard for me to explain. It's a pretty laid back game, and has so many little aspects. I think a lot of it revolves around collecting.

To start getting money (bells). Collect the sea shells on the beach, or sell the fruit on the tree. Everytown has it's local fruit, and it sells for about 100 bells. But then if you get fruit from another town, it'll be 300 bells. :3 Anyone of us here is more then willing to give you some fruit if you want it. You can plant it, and then grow your own. Fruit regrows every few days (I think three).

There will be one tree eventually that will have slightly different fruit-- called perfect fruit. You get more money from this, but don't be a fool like me and sell it. Plant it, and it'll grow more perfect fruit (for so long). :< Selling my perfect fruit is the most annoying thing I did.

Does it play at all similarly to the old old Animal Crossing on GameCube? That's the only one I've ever played. I think the "play with friends" will be the most confusing part, but I'll probably figure that out as I go. And I still have 2 threads worth of chatter to read through and I'm sure that'll help too.  Oh, once I figure out how to add friends I'm going to go through and add you guys, so, that new weird person adding you in a few hours is probably going to be me!

I think so. I only played that for a short period of time.

The friend thing. :3 You add a person as a friend on the friendlist on the main 3DS screen. Then after that you can travel via the train to someones town to do whatever, like shop, trade...

Yes, at the basic level it is pretty much the same. Collect fish, bugs, fossils. Sell stuff, expand house. Design patterns. Make friends with the villagers. I ordered a hamster cage for you and when everything is settled I'll give it to you as a house warming gift.
