Has anyone grown an attachment to their original villagers? I still have my original ten, just one I want to get rid of it. I know I should let some go but I don't want to. I must be weird.

I'm quite fond of Blanche, who was one of my first villagers. Two of them already left (Rory and Pate), and i do have Bettina and Drake, but they don't compare to Blanche. xD

I wouldn't say it's weird. I think that kinda is the point with Animal Crossing - you becoming fond of (some of) your villagers that you get really sad if they move away, or ask to move. At least New Leaf gives you the chance to keep them in your village if they are thinking of moving - I remember in the first game, they would just up and leave without warning.

they have a duck named pate and he has this cool blue cabinet thing in his house xD. if this is your town do you happen to know what that cool cupboard is called xD its so awesome!

I have a frog called Drift he's alright and a dog called Bones who's cool, and my pink duck Miranda everyone else gets on my nerves.

I'm waiting for Pinkie the panda to show up she was my enemy in the first game she came back to my town twice eeeek. I want a horse to come live in my town

I used to have a Blanche but she moved out of my town and into my boyfriends now I have Rory who moved out of my friends town into mine...I don't like him but I made him a good cup of coffee yesterday lol

I still have Bella, Broccolo, Coco, O'Hare, Frank, Mott, Croque and Naomi. All of them are part of my original ten. The first three listed have been town residents since my very first day and were all at my arrival and the ceremony where I planted the Town Tree.

Tammy and Walt have both moved out. I wasn't given a chance to stop Walt, or else I would have. Naomi is now leaving and I have her photo anyway, so I am letting her go.

I get pretty attached to my villagers, but if they push hard enough, I'll stop liking them. That was the case with Tammy. She asked to move three times before I just ignored her until she left.

WHAT?! o_o I thought you could only build with gold -__- omg i need to save all my ores now. that was so pretty!

also the only villager i have that was one of my originals is Vesta, and i knew as soon as i started the town that I wasnt going to let her move xD Vesta is one of my old favorites from Wildworld. Pasmina was my second villager to move in and shes not going anywhere either :p

edit: Anicotti will be moving out in a few days if anyone wants her. Shes a green peppy mouse villager.

Even though I am letting her move away, I am also fond of Winnie. She was one of my default villagers in the Gamecube game, and she had also moved into my town in City Folk. So seeing her again in New Leaf had me all nostalgic and thinking "aww, Winnie really does love me! <3" 

And here's something of a "fun fact" i found out last night about villagers moving in/ out : your game keeps track of the last 16 villagers that have moved out of your town. If said villager is on the 16 list, they cant move back into your town until they are gone off the list (by having more villagers move out). So for example, since Rory and Pate moved out of my town, the cant/wont move back in unless 15 or 16 other villagers move out of Pallet after then.

that could be it. It would make sense, since I am almost certain the game has about...200+ villagers in the game? I know there are a ton of them.

I think your Walt actually moved to my town! He mentions another town name and whistles its tune (like Pate does with Pallet), but can't remember the name off the top of my head. I didn't send him letters or talk to him when he was packing boxes, so I guess it's just something that can randomly happen among friends who visit each other's towns.

I somehow managed to get two more pics today--Bertha (giving perfect fruit) and Sly (giving Nintendo/fortune cookie furniture). Just need Pippy, Pate, Fauna and Fuchsia, and then I will have the pics of all my current residents (aside from Knox b/c meh, and Charlise and someone else who moved before I could get them). ^__^

Edit: Milky, I can open them for you! Give me a few...
