I just want to be able to find any of the newer dolls besides Scaris Frankie. She is a shelfwarmer here!

She's a self warmer around me as well. I went into two Targets over the weekend and each of them had 10 Scaris Frankies just sitting there. :/

Hm.. well, yeah! You peeps are right about the eyebrows.. I've never noticed before I must say.

But I remember reading an article about how matching/non-matching eyebrows are one of the cultural beauty-differences between the US and EU. LOL.
In the US you always dye 'em the same colour as your hair, while in EU you generally leave them be. So maybe I'm just used to seeing mismatched hair-/eyebrow colours. xD

Really? i never dye my eyebrows to match my hair....Blond eyebrows, have had: red, black, blond, brown & pink hair (at some point or another) i didnt know that most people in the US dyed their eyebrows... maybe i'm just way to oblivious to fashion lol

I actually asked a hair stylist about this since the people in my family go grey pretty early. * le sigh * She told me it was actually illegal in some states which would make sense considering that if the chemicals get in your eyes one could potentially be blinded.

In other news my 1st wave Clawdeen is coming in the mail today and I am flippin' excited!

I smoked for a little over 5 years and when I was smoking, I haven't for almost 2 years now, you can't tell how bad a smoke smell is on something because you're used to that smell. Now that I haven't been smoking I smell even the smallest trace of it instantly. To a smoker, or someone who lives with a smoker it can be hard to pick up on a light smoke smell. At least, that's just what I've noticed from being a smoker and becoming a non-smoker

^This. My dad smoked for years and I had become so accustomed to the smell that I really was unaware of the odor until my allergy to it developed. Now even faintest scent of smoke sets off my nose and it is hard for me to ignore. When you're in the thick of it it's just so hard to notice but once you're away even for short amount of time the smell of smoke is just noticeable.

To be on topic, I want a sig Clawdeen so bad! It's killing me guys. I mentally kick myself for all the times I passed her by. :/

Edit: Scratch that I just got one. Oh impulse shopping.

I must be in the minority because I liked the most recent wave of single fashions the best. I love that they are simplistic and more realistic. I did not like the last wave at all. Lagoona's suit thing was very unfortunate, and while the Hammer pants brought back some memories, they've never actually been on a doll. The only outfit from that set that I even remotely liked was Abbey's, but that's because I'm a figure skater and doll ice skates always make me happy.

ETA: WOAH! Look what someone just found at a Walmart in California!

Oh man that is so lucky! I keep kicking myself for passing by Clawdeen and Torelai.

For anyone that is interested, I am going to attempt to go to comic con this year and grab as many as allowed... I dont know if there is a limit to the amount you can get while there. I have a feeling someone is going to be standing in line for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG time... LMAO... But hey depending on how many I get I can always sell/trade some away :) I will let you guys know as it gets closer...

That is so sweet of you to offer! I would be super grateful if you could grab me one. :)
Do you ever wonder if a doll we have right now might be super sought after in a few months? Like I wonder if anyone saw a Signature Toralei on the shelf and went "Naw...." and regrets it now.

I wonder that a lot actually. I've passed by a few Skelitas this week and considered grabbing another for down the road. I am full of regret for all the dolls I passed by over the last few years due to unemployment. I know it was the right choice to not spend that money at the time but now with hindsight I would of grabbed Holt, Cleo/Deuce, Gil and all the Toraleis that I wandered around with before forcing myself to put them back on the shelf. Le sigh.

I called my Target and they said they had the dolls so I went in since I'm only a 5 minute drive from there. When I got to the MH aisle, I was really excited to see them because I like seeing new dolls on shelves until a scalper pushed me out of the way and grabbed them. Perfect timing, right? There was only one case from what I could tell. There were 3 Spectras and 3 Clawdeens. The shelf was a mess so I was doing some digging before the scalper came along. Looks like Frankie and Toralei will either be in their own case or will be put in that case later on.

You let me go shopping with you next time. No one is going to push me out of the way, that is just rude and uncalled for.

I have never been face to face with a scalper before and I was just so shocked that I couldn't even respond! I was really mad! You are more than welcome to come shopping with me! I was so embarassed.

I can't believe they did that to you! >_<
