I randomly stopped at the TRU down the road this morning... and lo and behold... they had a small stack of Zecoras!!!

I'm extatic! I was so worried that since I missed the "preorder" of her... that various TRUs would have limited stock... but not so!
So keep your peepers peeled! I'm betting Zecora will be hitting other store shelves this week! :biggrin:

I agree! There isn't a TRU here so I'd have to get them online though :/ I'm really unhappy with the way it's being handled.

There's an easy solution to this if you want yours NOW...
Go to TRU and buy one. When your "preorder" arrives... "return" her to TRU using your previous receipt. Same item... and you get your instant gratification. ;)
I honestly think... the Preorders were a way for TRU to contact Hasbro and say "we need X amount in ADDITION to the base order we made"... That way Hasbro makes enough to take care of everyone...
Think of it as your "security blanket"... you know you'll get one... rather than taking the "chance" that there will be one on the shelf...
After all... I think there are 5 or 6 TRUs around Phoenix (maybe more, I'd have to check). If they get 5 or 6 Zecoras in stock... that's then 30-36 Zecoras in ALL OF PHOENIX; at least for the initial shipment...
NOT good odds if you live in a huge city like Phoenix... ;)

Diamond posted in another thread about the number of Zecoras which were coming into a certain region for TRU - I think the figure worked out to quite high so hopefully most people looking for her will be able to track her down.

I honestly think they just didn't "train" it down as they do the hair on other ponies... it doesn't feel any different to me...
It might be a TAD "thicker" (the indiviual hairs that is)... but it's really not noticably so...

Thanks for the heads up and the pics of her! I've been wanting a Zecora for the longest, so hopefully I can find her next week when I have enough spare money to get one or two of her. <3 She can protect me in my sleep with her glowing powers. :lol:
I'm not too surprised that the stores have been getting Zecora in before the people that pre-order'd. I know when it came to Monster High, I knew some people had pre-ordered one of the TRU-exclusive sets (the Werecats) and didn't get theirs in until about a few weeks (if not a month) after they were spotted on the shelves. :(

Not that anyone remembers but I posted the SKN and her total order numbers for her first order a way back. If you use the SKN you can call TRU to check if your store has gotten them in BUT if she has a street date, chances are they had a new stocker who put them out by mistake. Toys are not due to reset there aisle yet.

So those of us who pre-ordered our Zecora's are still on backorder are STILL waiting for ours, but stores are starting to carry them now? That's messed up. You'd think TRU would ship out the backordered ones before sending them to the stores.
Sorry, it just irks me when that happens...

Just think of it this way, the people who preordered are spared the endless drives to TRU to try to get there before the rest of the collectors, bronies, and ebay sellers buy them all. It's a whole lot of work to find ponies! And a whole lot of gas and time.

Ugh, my boyfriend and I are going to have to check TRU...his Zecora order has no sign of having been shipped (though it doesn't say backordered)...though it should have shipped last month, apparently. Additionally, though I swear I ordered a Zecora as well, I can find no evidence of the order. :( TRU has yet to take any money out for my boyfriend's order (or mine, although maybe I imagined making said order), so if we find her on our next TRU trip, we'll probably just cancel the preorder :/

im jsut worried that those of us who preordered her... will get screwed and not get her. thats happend to me before with backordered things.. it was a dvd seris it was backorderd for a month! then they ismply caled me adn told me oh.. we cna't order that anymore. and i about lost my temper. i'm like ugh! yo had me wait for a month then you tell me its uanble to be orderd?! not ahappy perosn.. but i ordered from TRU onlinebefore and i got my items just never preorderd/

I didn't pre-order her because
A) The price plus shipping...
B) I'm disappointed of the fact they were lazy again and didn't finish the leg bangles
I haven't checked to see if we actually still have our TRU express here but if we do I don't think they will have very much in the way of ponies (they didn't last time I looked there) and the fact it doesn't even show up on TRU's site near my area any more... makes me think there is no express there :| I'll just have to get the nerve up to go to the mall and look x.x

Wow, I can't believe they're already being found in store before preorders are received. The whole incomplete gold band on the leg bothers me too. I'm debating if I really want to pick her up anytime soon. Not in my top 5 wants.

Got a reply from TRU customer service. I asked when zecora would be available, as mine is backordered. I got "we don't know. depends on when the warehouse gets its next stock in"

I ended up just purchasing the dolls in person once I learned that stores were getting them in and sold off my preorder once it arrived (about four weeks later).

Yup, same thing happened to me (with the werecat twins). I ended up getting them from the store and cancelling the pre-order.

The Shining Armor fashion style has what I assume to be the same type of hair. It's soft and silky so it's not gelled up, but it does feel a little bit...stiffer? thicker? It doesn't want to lay down at all lol

Well, that's a cheap out move for Hasbro to pull. They probably thought it would be too difficult to get their paint machines to paint the entire circumfrence of the band, so they only painted the front.
When I get her, I think I'll just paint over the band with liquid gold leaf.

Agreed...I know it may have been difficult to accomplish but in that case they could have maybe just put real accessories on her rather than painting half bracelets. I don't like that she glows either...she'd look better if she had a normal body color. If I find her in a thrift store some day I'll probably keep her, but I really don't want to drop $10 on her. :/

I'm tempted to buy her just because it's her, although I don't really actively collect G4 any more. :)
I just wish they would have made her more show accurate, as in a different head mold. I have seen a few customs of her and they all tend to look better than the official version. Maybe I will commission someone to make one for me instead, or even have a go myself, hmm..

As at this date she has only been slated for a US release...but thats not to say she wont arrive elsewhere just that as at this point she only is available in America.

No Zecora at my TRU, although they do have the Nightmare Moon set, and white Celestia (although you have to dig through Pinklestia to find her).
They also have the new train (with the cars included), the Riding Along set with Rarity, and the blind bag favorites set.
No sign of Lyra's brushable, though, or any from her wave.
And they still have that (%^*$# talking Pinkie Pie!

My TRU finally got the new Train Set, White Celestia, and the new mini figure collection today. Still no sign of the Favorites set, The Riding Along combo pack, or Zecora.... although, I'm not sure where they would put them right now even if they did get them in, because the pony endcap is jam-packed right now. :blink:

Here's hoping she's released internationally :) I don't care about the gold bands not going all the way round her legs or the $10 price tag, that's the usual price for a brushable outside of US. I must have her ^.^

My local TRU always seems to get in new items on Fridays so I'm going to hit them up tomorrow and see if I can find Zecora or the Collector's Set. I only want Nightmare Moon though, so I'll be selling the rest off the others if/when I can get my hands on the latter.

I really hate those things, lol. I feel like they've been the guard dogs of the pony aisles for the past year and I so sick of hearing them tell me they can walk every time I pass by. >_< If they made them resemble a quadrupedal baby horse they might be a bit more endearing, but the pseudo-human baby appearance with the big cartoony head really creeps me out.

I am crossing my fingers for Zecora, Rarity and the scooter set and the Collector's set tomorrow. I've only been to TRU a million times the last two weeks. I also still need Trixie, Lyra, Sunny Rays and the other one (forgot her name). And Walmart still has not gotten the posters and new pony stuff in. I have been hitting these stores over and over and little luck. :(

This is ridiculous, TRU is already restocking shelves and preorders haven't gone out yet? I'm going to try mine Monday if she's in stock I'm buying her and writing a nasty email to the online site.

Man, the only NEW pony ANYTHING the Mt. Olive Walmart in Mt. Olive / Flanders, NJ, has is the Canterlot Wedding Stylin' Luna, and the plushie baby Spike with the plastic head and the new baby Rainbow Dash version ( can't bring myself to call them So Softs... So Softs are fuzzy flocked ponies to me, not plushies. )!
Considering the fact that the girls toy aisle has MUCH less variety and is dominated by Barbie and cutesy wootsey baby dolls, while the boys toy aisle is PACKED with kick butt boys toys, my guess has been for a while the their store manager does NOT care about girls toys in any way, shape, or form. His mindset is, literally, "all girls like Barbie dolls and baby dolls, so that's all we're going to focus on selling. Ever.". And no, he does NOT listen to customers when we request that the store bring in a variety of girls toys that we know would sell well in our area. I've seen and heard him treat female customers like trash. Ditto with his female employees.
Sorry, got off topic. Walmart is a touchy subject for me.
They do have the regular Core 6, a few of those hideous big fake butterfly-ish winged ones, and... get this...
the G3 Ponyville merpony castle with merpony Pinkie!
I would have picked that up IF I had the room in my studio. I do love the artwork used for the G3 Ponyville merponies! Really pretty designs that sorta translated well to the toy versions.
If anyone else is still looking for that set, however, let me know, and I'll pick it up for you.

Every Walmart and TRU I stalk seems to have them.
As for Zecora.. I ordered one from TRU, but I'm worried about when I might get her, or if I'll receive her at all :(

I checked again and if you are in New England, NY, NJ and surrounding areas they are still not in the warehouse. Again calling a TRU with out an SKN number will not get you too far with some stores. The SKN really helps especially when the employees do not know the product lines. They did up the count though from 1,300+ to 2,000 plus.

OK, I would like to know how a BACKORDERED item is being released in stores to the general public, while people who have ordered first are getting told they might not get anything. I'm hoping this public release means there is plenty left to fulfill outstanding orders, but the fact they're warning us that the orders could be cancelled is not a good sign. They should've taken care of their current customers first, before sending some out for general release, if they really do value their customers. I emailed them a complaint about this, but don't expect a reply.

Got mine! Way surprised to see her here. We haven't even recieved any new blind bag waves in this area. Luckily, I had a friend who just happened to be at TRU and saw her. She knew that glow in the dark girl was a crazy want for me and told me where to get her. I love her! She's definitely a fave for me.

I called the same exact TRU today to ask about Zecora. They said someone called earlier the the same question (and I got the same answer you did). I wondered if it was an Arena member that called, and it was! Small world, huh?
But for some reason, I doubt it will take as long as they said to get them in stock. I'll probably call again in a week.

The size of the order you saw is not for one store but the DC for your store. No store gets there whole allotment at once. Also if the layouts are not up for the other stores they will not be listed as getting them until there layouts are up. So other stores in your area maybe getting them, just at a later date.
Also I have not gotten the email in regards to the preoders, I figure if they show up in store first I am just going to cancel them and get the ones I promised two friends and ours and call it quits.

No worries, I have been with R Us for almost 8 years now and even though I am on the Babies end of it, I still can check things for the Toy side. And still have buddies working there.

Thanks! I'd definitely wanna know. That store is pretty close to where I work, so I'm hoping that's the one I can get Zecora at. The one in Chesterfield is more of a distance from me. But I'll get her however I can!

They had around 5 at my Toys R Us today, I grabbed two for a friend and myself. They all seem to have something silly going on though! One has 5 plugs of gray in the mane at the front and the other only has 4.
At the ones in the store:
one eye had scratches on it, another had a smudged hoof paint, another had a smudged stripe(mine does too actually). Really random paint/eye smudges and scuffs! They aren't too bad...to me anyway, but for $10 I think it'd be nice to have pretty ones for sale.

Ah thanks I try, was easy back in the G3 day as I worked at TRU so could check more often. I see from the locations listed she has hit the west coast, which is a totally different DC the this side of the USA. I will try to check again and see if she has landed in our DC and let folks know, if they are interested that is.

I desperately want a couple Zecoras. My local TRU, as of yesterday, had the trains with extra cars, one white Celestia, the scooter friends, and a freshly opened box of Wave 1 blind bags. No sign of Zecora or the other collector ponies and nobody outside of the mane 6.

I never received that email people got yesterday and just now when I check the status of order, it no longer says "Back-ordered" like it used to, but instead: "Item(s) on hold until release date 08/10/12" as if I had preordered it yesterday... when I actually made my order on July 12th, which it still notes at the top of the order page. Interesting..... so I suppose I'll be getting a Zecora from them afterall? I wonder when she'll ship? Has this happened to anyone else?

Decided to check the status of mine after reading through all this, mine's got "Item(s) on hold until release date: 07 / 14 / 12" No email yet, nothing else ordered with her. Ugh, what a mess. My TRU had everything else including 5 favorite sets though, so maybe I should start giving them a call.

Keep doing different things until it works! Like putting flowers upside down in a vase and knowing that's not gonna keep them alive so the next time you put them in correctly and they live a bit longer.

As much as I would love Zecora I feel the people who pre-ordered should get the first grab. Really thats what a Pre-order is, guaranteeing that you get the product first.
A pre-order guarantees you a copy, but it doesn't always mean you get it first. You're supposed to get it first (or at least within a day or so of it being released), but some places don't really follow that. Which is very lame. More so if the store in question already have the non-preordered item on the shelves, gives your pre-order to someone else or doesn't get in all the pre-orders in. (if that made sense)
I remember a situation years ago when I pre-ordered a Harvest Moon game and it was supposed to come with a stuffed dog (and I had pre-ordered the game about a month in advance). When I went to get my game about two days after it came out [due to school], apparently the store had only gotten in two of the stuffed dogs (and about 6+ people had pre-orederd the game). D: Sad day that was!

I've never ran into another true collector before. That would be cool. I know there are a few pony collectors in my area! Would be nice to meet one.
I'm tempted to call TRU again and see if they magically got her in, but I feel kinda silly doing so. If I find her I'm gonna buy two....one to display and one to open. Since she is apparently limited I want to have two,though I normally never buy duplicates for G4s.

Since the original date on the per-orders was the 15th, some where around there. I am guessing though the boxes are not coming in dated hence them getting out. A chain can get in a huge amount of trouble if they put out dated material before that date.

Chances are that the ones the online warehouse was supposed to get where shipped to the West Coast DC by mistake hence folks out West seeing them before the online orders.

Yes it is, again to not sound like a broken record gang it will say 0 for your store as they have not gotten there order in yet. If they are even ELIGIBLE to carry the item. You need to ask them that as well, but some folks are gonna get testy on the phone if you ask too much or call to often so pick your battles.
They have just hit the DC (or warehouse if you wish) that supplies several states in my area, since they now have them in this warehouse they can be distributed to the stores. Our trucks are packed the day or two before we get them. I.E, if we have a truck that is due in on Wednesday it is packed out Monday/Tuesday and then sent to us so if an item comes in and the truck is closed and ready to go it has to wait till the next truck. So for most stores that will mean next week to see them.

Don't give up!
I've been calling my local Toys R Us frequently and the SKN# always left them clueless. Today, though, they suddenly had her in their system and were able to tell me where there were some in stock at another location about an hour away. I loaded my kids in the car and got there in time to get her. So, it seems like they're finally starting to arrive here.

If you do a search for "Zecora" on the TRU website she shows up. However, she also says "out of stock for shipping, store pick up not available, sold in stores." So yes she's up on the website, but you can't order her online or do a store inventory search.

It's easy to have your mail forwarded to your new location - there's a short form and I believe a small fee, but that way you won't lose your parcel!

Called a nearby TRU, they didn't have it but they checked other stores and named a bunch of other stores in the general area that had it :D
So I took a 30 minute drive to one that had it and picked up two (one to open, the other to keep in the box)
Luckily I kept looking for them when I got there because they were not WITH the My Little Pony toys and were pretty hidden :blink:

That seems to be the case. Hasbro didn't seem to expect such a high demand for the specialty ponies, especially since they still don't seem to have realized just how big the pony fandom is now, compared to how big it was before FiM. Me thinks they're still over whelmed.

I doubt it, for the most part there is no reason for us to lie, we do check but like I have said before you guys have been calling for so long and they where not even in the warehouse yet so yeah you are going to keep getting told no. It takes time for the product to get to the DC (or warehouse if you like) and then get from the DC to the store.

Dazzle the next time you call ask them to check and see if they are eligible for the item. If they are not then no they will not get them if they are, there DC might have them in yet. Which if that is the case no the stores will not have them yet.

Sometimes though if an item was being called about alot word got round and if we knew we did not have it, yeah it took us no time to tell you know cause a whole bunch of folks had already called about it.

My TRU said they were going to get her in tomorrow (like a truck is coming tomorrow and she will be on the shelf before the store opens tomorrow morning). Gonna take the bus to get there, so I just hope the bus journey wouldn't be for nothing and Zecora ain't on the shelf. :( I do want to call beforehand to make sure, but the store employee said that I would be better off going to the store myself and see.

I think it was just the managers at our store. I've been to other Toys R Us stores before, and had no problem with theirs. I don't know what the problem was with our managers at the time, but they just seemed to have a stick up their rear. ^^; This was a while ago, though, but I still see it when I shop there as a customer. Wondering if it might be head management causing employees deep stress? Anything is possible.

This makes sense Diamond - after all these sets were only due out 2nd/3rd week in August - which is essentially now - so those that have been getting found for the last 2 to 3 weeks have either been stocked early or not had set dates on their packs obviously and put out on shelf ahead of time.
As much as the items are clearing as soon as they hit shelves it appears, you should remember that this means the item will show out of stock, which in theory means a dispatch centre will send further stock out on the item to the store. We have a whole toy year through until the start of 2013 to get a chance to find and buy her.
This fandom is bigger than pre G4 yes but in comparison to Transformers and GI Joe? No its no where near as large and active - Hasbro and TRU are used to stocking items for adult collectors. The very fact they have created a "collectors series" something we have never seen before with Hasbro in a national retailer for MLP is an indication that TRU know full well there is a fan base to sell it to.
They are a national [although sometimes backwards as Diamond says] retailer - they are not going to run out of a product which makes them money. Could there be a delay until new stock comes in from China after the initial run has been purchased? Yes...but are TRU honestly going to stop stocking an item which clears off its shelves as soon as it hits the stores? Probably not. This item is an exclusive yes but exclusive to a store - never has it been mentioned that it is limited - I think thats perhaps where the worry over her being available for an extended period may come from.

Thank you! They did indeed have her in, and she was in pony section (was afraid she would have been scattered across the girl sections - it's like that with my TRU's Winx Club section...or should I saw, sections. D:)
I wasn't able to get more than two at the moment (got an extra for one of my great buddies because she was busy at the time and wasn't able to see if Zecora would be there).
When I am back down that way and I see her on the shelf, I'll try to get one for help people out. :)

I got an email the other day saying my Zecora preorder is on back order. :( When I went to Toys R Us today they had the stickers out for her. I asked an employee and she said didn't have her in stock but that she might becoming on their truck on Thursday. Hopefully they have her and I can pick her up for myself and my friend.

They should be but all stores seem to be getting only one case for initial layout. Since you are driving a bit to get there I would find the SKN I posted and call first. I know the other day I stopped at store since I was going that way and I was a day early, there truck came the next day.

Last I looked she was still not in stock for my area but due in. I hope to check tomorrow or Saturday as my old TRU gets there truck then. Come Monday I am back at work and can check things a little easier.

EGAD! So THAT is what the "openings" in the top of her box are for!!! So you can install a BLACKLIGHT over her box! Oh that's fantastic!!!!
*makes mental note to get her small blacklight working* (and not just for Zecora... to locate scorpions too... *shudders*)

Earlier in the week I had found the favorites collection at the Sacramento, CA TRU but no Zecora. I asked about Zecora and they said they didn't have her but to call back on Thurs. because they get their trucks in that day. I called, was told they didn't receive them but stopped by anyway because my mom had an appointment across the street and they had 5 on the shelf!
So I got her! They also had some Pony Friends Forever things and I picked up the Friendship Celebration collection too. ^^
I don't know why they said they didn't have her though @_@ I'm glad I didn't wait to go check...

Love the photo of her glowing. She has not been sighted near (New Hampshire) me yet but the pony section has been moved and brand new tags have been put out for her and other new pony stuff. I am keeping my fingured crossed they arrive or are put out next time I go there.

I found her today and I LOVE her (apart from the fact that her bracelet is only painted on part of her leg, and she'd be even more awesome with her earring)! I've still got my preorder active, but if I get the second one, I think I'll save her to see if anyone on the arena who doesn't have easy access to buying one would like to adopt her. :) By then I should hopefully have my shop page revamped.

They got them in at my TRU yesterday. My Zecora has been shipped, but she must be stuck in the Everfree forest, so I went ahead and bought one to display in box.

Totally second this. I had to go through the whole lot to find two with good hair. One for me, one for my non-collector friend that only wanted Zecora. Most of their hair was crazy!

My Zecora came in the mail today and I was able to find one at my Toys R Us for my friend. Its a little disappointing they didn't paint her bracelets all the way around but other than that I love her.

Yes, a little bit but the very end, (and this was the best one) had it tucked behind in the plastic and the very end the hair is like hard glue. (my fav set, some of their hair is like that too, glue) All the other one's had imperfections, scratches on the eyes, or a dot etc.. The one I got had good eyes, stripes, just one hoof paint job is off, but that's fixable.

Both the TRUs here in Columbus had 6 in stock each yesterday and today were both sold out o-o I have an extra if anypony needs or perhaps a trade. Just in case they are gone as fast in other states if it helps? :)

Ebay prices are still extreme for Zecora. I am glad she is coming out on toy shelves everywhere and everyone at least gets a shot at retail priced ponies. Saw one woman pick up all four Zecoras on the shelf yesterday. Kinda hard not to say something to people like that when you don't know if they resell or if they pick them up for friends and family.
With the holiday season coming up, I'm excited to see what new ponies come out!

My pre-order Zecora arrived today while I was at work!
Aside from needing a tiny mane trim and the paint on her back left hoof being a little rubbed, she's fine.
Nothing a little bit of outdoor glossy paint and gloss varnish won't fix.
Hmm... her hair DOES feel a little stiff, almost like Dollyhair nylon hair before I wash and condition it for my custom rehairs. But again, nothing I can't remedy. All new additions to my pony collection ALWAYS get a trip to the pony salon anyway, so Zecora is taking a trip to the bathroom sink.
STILL no Zecora's at the TRU in Rockaway, NJ, though. I'm giving up on that store for new ponies for a while until they're finished with the reconstruction work there.
And maaaan, did it take forever to get someone to answer the phones there. No one picked up the phones until late in the evening yesterday, and the normal answering greeting you hear when calling a TRU didn't even pick up. Going to try the TRU in Livingston instead.

Just got mine too. Looks like a lot of people got her today.
Overall she looks nice but there are a few minor things I noticed.
She has two small white spots on her body, scratches I assume, there is a small gap in the neck, and the edge of the box is slightly bent.

As to flaws not to beat a dead horse and not saying it is okay but she is being sold at a really good cost for what she is, a $10 pony. Elsewhere a special like this would cost two to three times that amount.

Went to TRU for Zecora today and all they had were those ponies with giant wigs, several dozen Pinkie Pies and Fluttershys and the train. Why does distribution in my area have to suck so bad.
This wouldn't be such a big deal except the closest TRU is a 30 min drive from where I live.

I feel your pain. We only have one TRU in the entire state... we are the fourth largest state in the nation... for me to drive there from where I live... 8 hours... the closest TRU to me is 5 hours away in Washington... so when I visit a TRU and there isn't anything there, its really disappointing to say the least lol

Oh, I totally agree! $10 is very much a good deal for a collectors piece! Especially for a vinyl toy. Heck, even a simple blank white Kidrobot Munny or Dunny, a SMALL one, starts around $30. STARTS. XP

Check the tracking number and see where it is? Mine got sent to the wrong post office and delayed, so I don't have mine yet either >_<

i had to pickup a pair of them..and tru was running the buy one get one 40% off..so 16$ for a pair of them i was more than happy...my only complaint on the one i opened was the gold band on her lifted leg only goes half way around...but she is soooooooo cute...i wasnt a big fan of zecora..but her toy is just adorable!

found like 10 of her at a newly opened TRU in Ontario, Canada. I have to admit, I was super excited to see her. She was selling for $12.99 i picked up 2, one to keep MIB even though I have deboxed all my other G4s. Her packaging is jsut so special though, totally worth the extra money!

Yeah, I don't dig how Hasbro just really half-arfed on Zecora's jewelry, soooooo...
as a pony customizer, you know I had to fix that. XP
I painted over Zecora's original neck bangle paint, same with her foreleg bangles, but wrapped the foreleg bangle all of the way around her leg, using liquid gold and bronze leaf. Repainted the simple brown lines with a cocoa colored acrylic.
Pierced her ears with silver metal jump rings, and coated those in bronze liquid leaf.
Gave her mane and tail a good shampoo and conditioning, "pony salon", treatment, trimmed and lightly reshaped her mane.
Touched up the blacks in her eyes and on her hoofs with black acrylic paint, sealed the hooves with glossy varnish, and her eyes with a matte varnish. Not sure if I want to risk trying to mix up a batch of grey to match her stripes. She has a pretty noticable paint scratch on her back and the muzzle grey paint is a little wonky. Think I should give it one more go to make her perfect?

You could always debox her but keep the box. She doesn't really have any hair pinned down in any way that you couldn't ever return it to the box. She is easy to remove.
I took mine out but then put her right back in. The only thing that is not the same as it started is the piece of tape on the box. But otherwise everything looks like new.

She seems to be "getting there" when it comes to coming into stock. I am sure you ll find someone to help you track her down :)

She should be going into all stores at this time. If they sell out though it maybe a week before she gets restocked as it takes time for the fact a store is out to when they stick it on the truck again to happen at times. Especially if that stores counts are not right.

Super excited! I finally found Zecora here in Central PA! I've been stalking TRU for weeks. Mine had a bunch. The shelves were all full. Which is shocking because all the Targets, Wal-marts and TRUs were skeletal for the past couple of months around here.

I finally gave up trying to buy Zecora in the store and bought her online from a reseller ($26 including shipping). Buying her in a store is just not possible for me (I don't drive and its difficult to arrange a ride down to a B&M store). I talked to the employees at our local TRUs, both in person and over the phone, and there is a group of people who wait every morning, standing in line outside the stores before they open to come in and buy all the TRU exclusive MLPs and Monster High dolls that come in.
If I do ever see her in a TRU I will buy an extra one to keep MIB. But seriously, its cheaper for me to just buy her online than to pay someone to keep driving me all over the place for searches that turn up nothing.

I was at my TRU earlier, and they did change the price for her (although they didn't have any Zecoras in stock). Oddly enough, the TRU Favorites set was still listed at $39.99, or at least that's what the price sticker/tag said. That set wasn't in stock either, even though an employee had told me otherwise. :(

Just picked her up this past weekend for the jacked price. So pleased with her though, the symbol and tail are soooo cool. And her glow is so vibrant!

Is Zecora a Toys R Us exclusive? We do not have ant TRU's around here. The closest one is 30 miles. I guess it's not that far, but you have to take a rough/insane highway to get there.

Yes, confirming Zecora at $16.99 and the Favorites at $44.99 here in Georgia. How can the prices vary so much between stores for the same merchandise? :huh:
I found 3 Zecora and only one Favorites set yesterday at my Mcdonough store TRU.
I'm just glad regular ponies are still $5 or I'd def. start leaving my ponies MIB from now on. :|

I really don't know why there is such variation. I noticed over the xmas break that ponies in Ohio were more expensive than ponies in California. =/
