Truth be told, I always draw a blank when someone asks me this, so have some lyrics that sum up my own philosophy on life, the universe, and everything. Organized religion hasn't played a part in my life for years; my dad isn't very spiritual though my mom sort of is. As for me, I'm not sure. I just try to be good to my neighbors and let everyone else do their thing.

I was born and raised Lutheran. I find all religions and non religions quite interesting also, along with a lot of what people have shared here! Great topic of discussion!

Roccoriel- good question. Heaven is called the Summerland to me. Its a place of great rolling hills and nature as far as the eye can see. Its a rejuvenating place where one can regain their energy lost from the cold hard world here on earth. All of the things nearest to your heart should be there, but its also very personal so don't expect to see all sorts of other souls there like some Christian heavens packed to the gills with people you don't even know. They have their own place. There is also a limbo and of course reincarnation but there is no hell. The closest thing to hell is mortal life on earth. For the record, I have zero fear of being dead although that doesn't translate into zero fear of a painful way of going.

That seems like a really nice way for the afterlife to be, and if it does exist I hope it's like that.

I am a Christ believing Christian with a non denomination base.  I do not profess any religion.  In fact I have not found organized religion to be a good fit for me even though I have attended quite a few of this type of church.  They have played an important part in my Christian upbringing, I just tend to enjoy the Bible ND churches more.  I guess if I could pick any church to attend regularly it would be Messianic Judaism Temple.

I do believe without a shadow of a doubt that animals will be in Heaven.  In fact I expect to be reunited with every pet I had been given in this life.  I believe that God is the creator of animals and His creation never ceases to exist. He did not give them a soul as they are not human according to my beliefs.

They're not exactly two different things. This is a bit oversimplified, but an agnostic is someone who says we can't really know, so an agnostic-atheist is someone who says we can't really know, but it seems unlikely, and agnostic-theist would say we can't really know, but still believes.

I'm Wiccan.  I married someone who, while he's an atheist, prefers to describe his spirituality as humanist. 

I believe wholeheartedly that animals have souls just as people do.

Oh I absolutely believe that animals have souls. I am convinced i will be re-united with Charisma my arab mare and Judy my dog. Theres a lovely story I have read various versions of over the internet about an old cowboy who refuses to enter heaven because he is told he would have to leave his horse and dog behind - and chooses to sit outside the gates and to him, that is heaven I love that story.
