I have an old lady cat called Honey (she's 14) and 12 chickens 

I got Honey 5 years ago when her previous owner (my cousin) had her home flooded in the 2007 floods which affected my home town. I had to have her cat since she had to move back in with her mom who had a dog which didn't really get along with Honey (she's borderline sociopathic  ).  Anywho, the weeks dragged on and one day, my cousin was finally allowed back into the refurbished house and had to take Honey back.    

Well, I cried, she cried and evidently, Honey cried also because 2 days later she brought her back    Apparently she missed me so much, she stopped eating, cried loudly whenever she could and generally made my poor cousins life as difficult as she could!!

And I have 12 chickens - my fella won't let me name them cos after they have finished laying eggs, they'll be curry, but me and my step-daughter have secretly named them after ponies!!  The 2 big white ones are Lyra and Bon-bon, 2 medium white ones are Luna and Celly, the 3 little white ones are (of course) named after the CMC.  Then we have the brown ones, Pony, Spitfire, Rose, Daisy and Lily.

I love this poll and love to hear about everyone's pets.  I am totally digging the cute chinchillas, especially Baby. So freakin' cute.

Thanks!  Baby's about a year old now and is still seriously cute but I can never resist an opportunity to show off her baby pics!

I have a dog(golden Tibetan Terrier) and at the moment 24 chinchillas, 22 adults and 2 babies which are about 8 weeks old and I have to handfeet them when they were 10 days old. We have to spare them from their parents and the other baby, because the biggest baby have bitten the smallest one. 

24 chinnies!  Wow!  I'd love to see pics!!

We have 6 cats!    Their names are Ember, Fuzzy, Slick, Flora, Stevie, and Jupiter.  They all get along well and they were all sob-stories I rescued off the streets.  Fuzzy and Slick are brothers and spend a lot of time grooming each other.

I have 2 pigs and a cat! The pigs used to live in a small enclosure in my backyard but after we moved my mom made them stay at the farm I hope they are happier there, and I want to visit them soon!
The pigs are Horace and Carrie, and the cat is Ketchup! ;3

I am currently the human slave to:

4 cats: Billy/Jewel (originally named Jewel, until we found out she was a he) He's my old man cat at 13.
Mittens adopted me at my ex's apartment she's 11.
Gizmo (I adopted her from a local rescue and named her Tinkerbell, had to wait to get her until she was big enough to spay. Picked her up and discovered they had neutered him changed his name to Gizmo) he's my little man at 1 he only weighs 5 lbs.
And Luna my beautiful little gray ball of energy. I (with the help of another wonderful young lady) rescued her from the underside of a Honda in the Wal-Mart parking lot about a month ago. Stupid woman drove prob. 10 miles with the poor little thing meowing under the hood (she even admitted to breaking hard to get the baby to fall out, while going about 65 mph). She is about 9 weeks old (she was only 5 weeks at the time of her rescue)

1 crazy Dog Scout (she's my mom's and is aroud 6)

1 Black Capped Conure Norbert da Snitch (named cause I love Harry Potter and he truly loves to snitch things) he's about 3.

1 parakeet Sweetie Pie my mom's she is about 3 also (we got her a week before Norbert and she is so not sweet  ).

2 Bearded Dragons: Draco (II) he's about 6 mos. and Hermione she's about 3 mos. (you'd never guess I really like Harry Potter only 4 of my pets are named for characters  )

1 tank of fish (various tetras and a tiger barb)

and the colony of Dubia roaches (yes I'm breeding roaches they're feeders for the beardies)

In the past we've had 5 other dogs, 1 gerbil, tons of fish (goldfish, koi, bettas & guppies), 2 ferrets, 1 cat (my ex should still have her  ) and my first bearded dragon (Draco I, had the poor angel for only 1 week before he passed, stupid Petsmart employee must have injured him getting him out for me).

I'd love to get a leopard gecko, but I don't have the space right now to set up another tank for it (I have 2-40 gal long tanks in my little room now for the beardies). I'm going to Repticon in Nov. and may get one then (they do a lot of raffles for tanks, supplies and animals so I may be able to win part of it ).

I would like a reptile but my partner has a bit of a phobia.  Sigh...
I also love ratties!  I think they make fabulous friendly awesome pets.

Currently we have three cats and two chickens- although we plan to get a few more pullets this weekend since one of our girls (Flo) recently died of old age
I do love having city chickens!
