Do you have any pets?

It seems like a majority of us like our toilet paper over the roll. But let's move onto a new poll, shall we?

Pets! Do you have any, or would like to have them? Or maybe you're not too keen on pets or perhaps you are allergic?

For the record, I would love a cat, hubby would like a dog. I think one of the kids would like a fish and one of the others would like a bird. But we cannot currently have pets because of our lease. So perhaps in the future, hm?

I have my lovely chow, and my sister, who lives in the same household, has a bunny. If money was no object, I would probably have a whole farm. I just love all sorts of animals. Here's a pic of my boy:

Unless you count a healthy population of spiders, my son and I have none.   We had cats several years back, but can't right now... and when I was small we had a dog, budgies, fish, gerbils, and baby generators dwarf hamsters.  We can't have any pets where we live... so we treat our friends' pets with extra petting and cuddles and (when permitted) snacks.

Though I kind of consider my ponies and some of our plushies as almost pets.  They are well cared for and very cuddly.

We share our home with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 1 bird, 2 sugar gliders, 1 mouse, 1 fish and our new addition who came home yesterday, 1 hamster.

That makes ten. We have ten pets.

Sugar, you bring up a good point! There's no telling how many spiders are lurking in my home. We have a quiet understanding with them. You may stay as long as you don't dangle in our faces, and you take care of the gnats.

I have a brindle border collie and a female diamond dove. If I had the means, I would get a silver fox, a collared aracari, and a couple rainbow stag beetles. My home would be filled with all kinds of odd animals! Maybe when I move out of my parents' house, I'll be able to get the pets I've always wanted. <3

  SDS, that's precisely how we treat our eight-legged friends.  They may eat all the intruder buggage they desire, so long as they stay well out of our space.  I had a wolf spider that, I kid you not, was roughly the diameter of a loonie (Canadian dollar coin) scurry past my hand one night while I was typing.   I screamed; it fared significantly less well.  I just wish sometimes I could clearly communicate our terms of coexistence with them, 'cause I feel so guilty when I smoosh one.

I have two cats, a dog and a dwarf hamster! I've really been wanting to get a betta again too but I'm not sure where best to set up the tank just yet.

All my life I have always had pets. I can't imagine NOT having pets, and even in the worst of times they were always cared for and received medical attention even if I myself did not. They mean the world to me

I have a dog, a lab-corgi mix named Arlo.  I am purely a dog person, through and through.

I would also have a farm if money allowed it. *__*; When I get my own house, I do hope to have an alpaca, sheep and a bunny. haha

We were told Ash and Soot were both male when we got them from the foster home.  I soon found out that that was not the case!  Baby is Ash and Soot's baby.  Soot is neutered now so there won't be any more surprises down the road, but I can't say that Baby wasn't a pleasant surprise.  She is such a sweetie!

The silly thing was that earlier this year, I was looking up "how to take care of pet crickets." Serious as a heart attack. I like cricket songs, and I imagine the management wouldn't object to having a small terrarium. I keep meaning to ask Mr. Kaoskat if he know anything about keeping crickets for pets.

4 Dogs, 3 cats, 1 hamster, 1 squirrel, 1 sugar glider, 2 trantulas, 1 hissing cockroach, 1 Siamese Fighting Fish, 2 ringneck doves, 3 frogs, 3 turtles, and 1 Marimo (he totally counts as "other" SDS!) oh and colonies of 2 species of mealworms and crickets

ETA: And yes, we keep crickets. LOL I adore them. He teases me about turning all the "food" into pets.
