I love this poll and love to hear about everyone's pets.  I am totally digging the cute chinchillas, especially Baby. So freakin' cute.  I have always loved animals and have had quite a few different ones in the past.  My first pets were goldfish won from carnivals that usually did not last very long because I don't think my mom really knew how to care for them lol.  I begged my parents for a cat until I was 9 when they finally gave in.  I found a kitten at my grandparents farm that must have been dropped off or something because he was not afraid at all like the other barn cats.  I named him Socks.  Unfortunately I did not have him very long as he died due to blood poisoning as a kitten when he was getting declawed.  Eventually, I got Boots (third cat because the 2nd cat was also a barn kitten but was severely malnourished by the time I adopted her) from the vet that did the surgery on Socks because he felt so bad for what happened to him.

Boots died a couple years ago at the age of 12 due to feline diabetes but he started a long line of many pets at home even though I had many pets at my grandparents farm including my very own chicken and a goat (who my grampa even had neutered so I could keep him but he was killed by a pack of wild dogs that attacked him and our pony).  Now, I have one registered Paint mare Cherokee who is 23.  Poor thing has had some lameness issues in her feet for the last few years but she is still my baby and I wouldn't trade her for anything.  We have 2 dogs Osiris, a 3 year-old Black Lab/Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Toby a 10 year-old Husky/Black Lab/German Shepherd mix.  Osiris is mine and my husbands and Toby is mine and my parents now that he has lived with them since I went to college.  I have 2 cats, 4 year-old Anubis (all black) and 9 year-old Isis (all white).  Anubis is mine and my husbands and Isis is mine.  She is scared of most men right away and has not made peace with my husband yet even though we have had her close to four years lol.  I like having her as my kitty though.  Finally, I have one 4 year-old Comet Goldfish and 7 Corydora catfish (Mommy Emerald, Daddy Albino and 5 of their offspring).  I would love to get another goat and horse someday when we have our own land and another dog either a Pom-Chi or a female Norwegian Elkhound I would name Kida.  Oh and another Kitten lol and maybe another mouse. 

I have had mice and gerbils in the past and many other kinds of fish but right now I am trying to keep the aquariums and tanks at a minimum since we live with my parents while my husband is trying to figure out his career and I am in school again.  I would love to get more mice or a rabbit again and more different kinds of tropical fish and bettas like I used to have.  My husband does not want me to get mice though because he did not like their mousey smell.

right now we have two cats that we stole from their wild kitty mom 10 years ago and nika the rescue Sheppard /lab mix who is now 7 years old.  I did have a betta who lived with 3 cory cats but they passed away. after being with me for 2-3 years.

Our zoo consists of 1 cat, 3 rabbits, and currently 7 birds... but the finches are sitting on 5 eggs, so hopefully there will be more in a couple weeks.

After we get settled in our new place, hubby wants to get a dog as well. And some day we may set up an aquarium again.

Spiders...  not really a pet, but it's been living from some months now and it's fun watching it =D  And it is big!!  When it doesn't hide =P
An unknown number of fishes (at least three, but I don't consider them as pets given that... they are alone and never paid attention to   They are outside in a small fountain).


I used to have also 2 rabbits... I miss my rabbits ;_;

My cat's pretty tiny. I have another one which is HEWGE and a dog which is medium. They all live in harmony, except the little cat is prone to bossing everyone around.

I have two dogs, a guinea pig, tropical fish, six tarantulas (I used to have over three hundred before my horrid ex stole them ) 7 species of stick insect, beetles, mantids, roaches, locusts and proscopids

I currently have two dogs (spoiled, fat Jack Russel terriers), two horses (A quarter horse mare and a five-month Gypsy Vanner colt) and one axolotl, soon to be two hopefully. ^-^

I've got a beautiful, nervous, characterful Sheltie called Amber and her mates are Cookie and Gizmo the two noisey Pom Poms that are my sister's. 

We had a budgie until earlier this year and have had Rats, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs in the past.
