I do not like the cute or sexy costumes. Halloween is about spooky, scary things to me so my costumes always reflect that. This year I will not be dressing up though. As much as I would like to, I just don't have the time or money to make myself a cool costume. Me and my boyfriend will be taking our puppies out in costume though as two little silly monsters and we will be hopefully attending the big Halloween parade here in the city. We'll be hitting up some pet costume contests too. :)

Oh man, yeah, cute or sexy costumes are not my thing either. It's fine for other people, but I do NOT look good in them and I know it! I'm better off with a more covering sort of costume, usually a guy's costume, lol. Plus I KNOW I'll be outside a long time, so I can plan for that too.

On Halloween I'm going to a zombie pride parade with some of my friends but, there is going to a Halloween masquerade thing a few days before that and I might either be Karkat Vantas or John Egbert from Homestuck!

I'm going to be Little Red Riding Hood. I've got everything except the little basket. :) We're gonna celebrate the 3rd of november. My boyfriend turns 30 on the friday and on Saturday our favorite night club has this huuuge halloween party so we're combining his birthdayparty with that. Beginning with our friends at our place and then go to the club later. I am soo excited!

I have to work on Hallowe'en, so I have to keep it kind of sedate.  I picked up a headband with a tiny plushie witch's hat mounted on it, and a pet's neck ring thing (think jester's dagged ruff) in purple with irridescent spiders on the ends that I'll be using to tie off my braid for that day. ^.^  But that's for daytime.

For night, I've got a little snaggletoothed Viking to escort around the neighbourhood, so I had to come up with something fun to wear about, and yesterday I was inspired at the dollar store - found a child's plastic luau skirt, but in rainbow pastel colours, that I figure I can work with to make a rainbow mane and tail so I can go 'round as a pony.  Maybe some ears on a headband, too, to kind of complete the look... hmmm... still cogitating...

Wishlist - I'm back on (semi-) active buying again... can't buy everything on my wish list all at once (yay, back-to-school and tuition fees), but I am still looking to plump up my collection a bit more: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,380638.0.html

I went to the Renassiance Faire and I bought a blue frilly overlay for a flowy black skirt I already had, a peasant blouse and a dark blue corset. I added a tiara and viola, young queen.

Ok, here's my cloak I'm working on, I have enough done to have the style down. You might want to turn up the brightness on your screen to see the detail, this thing is VERY dark black! My camera almost didn't want to take the pic!

I'm going full out lazy this year.  I'm going to be a butterfly.  I bought some wings and I have some deely boppers.  My son is gonna be a fireman. :) But I am due to have my baby on the 31st so I may not even wear it.  Or William may steal it.  He likes to wear Mommy's butterfly wings around the house and pretend to fly.
I'm not really on here anymore. Email me if you need my for something.

Ms Mouse wants to be Rainbow Dash.  Blue sweat pants/hoodie coming, wings bought.  Plans in place for ears, mane/tail and cutie mark.  Sheik is right, it's darn cold here at that time, so she will be layered.

I'm just going as a hippie this year. It's not that different from my normal dress, so I can get away with it if we're not allowed to wear costumes at school. I'm also thinking about carrying around one of my Daffidazeys since she looks like a hippie pony.

I'd have a costume if my town bothered to have a local adult Halloween costume party. Throwing my own costume party is out because friends I'd want to invite are all my mother's age and busy looking after families. If just my family (mom, adult sister, and adult brother) and I held one for ourselves I'd be the only person in costume which defeats the point of holding a costume party. I hate my love of costumes at Halloweentime when I want to celebrate the holiday by having fun at a costume party and the local costume parties here are for kids and parents attending with them and I wouldn't be welcome at those (not to mention it'd be awkward if I did go and I'd cut my stay short because I couldn't stand the awkwardness any longer. "Do you have a kid here?" "Um, no. I'm here for myself." )

I have two costumes for two separate events: Mr. Fox, and Matthew McConaughey's character from Magic Mike for a group entry in a contest.  (We're all female and we're all characters from that movie.  Lol.)

I have a lab coat and badges from this guy: http://blazerdesigns.tumblr.com/pokemon

I'm making some Pokeballs and a couple of Pokemon with crochet and will be a trainer. My son has a little tiger plush he got from Target along with the clothes we found: he is going as Calvin with his little Hobbes.

I know exactly how you feel! I adore Halloween and love to dress up but there was never anything for me to do in my cruddy town. There were tons of children's events (mostly at churches) and a few adult things at bars but bars are really not for me - I went to one once cause I was desperate to go out in my costume. It sucked.

Yeah, it can get really freaking cold around Halloween time. In past years, we've had snow, too. Ugh, winter 1998... that's all I have to say. Raging blizzard, Halloween night. It wasn't good. With any luck we'll still be in the 50s or so, but I don't bet on it.

I might go to parties for kids even if it's awkward, and just pretend I'm there to "help". Still, there are a few events for adults, hopefully I can make it to them all!
