I am so disappointed right now.
I just opened my new Dead Tired Frankie. My Walmart had a bunch of the Dead Tired dolls and I rooted through about 15 different Frankies until I found the one with the nicest face. Little did I know that a nice face-up was the least of my problems.
Her pantlegs are uneven. Not only are they uneven, they are completely different. Frankie's right pantleg is a much looser fit than the left one. She has scraped paint on her legs, as well as dirt and smudges. The worst part of all is that her left leg is longer than her right leg. I didn't realize it until I stood her up in her stand and one of her feet was connecting with the stand base while the other one was not. It is especially evident when she's wearing her slippers, but also noticeable without them.

I don't know what to do. I have contacted Mattel with complaints twice already. One for when my Signature Abbey's arm snapped and once for when I got a signature Deuce with a tear in his plastic. I'm afraid that Mattel just won't care or do anything about this. I am so upset.
And no, I don't have the receipt. 
I have a couple extra DT Frankies that I could look at for you. I was hunting for one without the googly eyes that she seems to have and ended up with four of them, I think. I could easily send you one with googly eyes and you can swap heads or I could just send you the body. Let me know if you might be interested!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Yeah, I learned that lesson fast. That's why I jumped at the chance to get Rochelle on angelicdreamz. Sadly, I forgot to watch Venus and Rochelle, so I'm going to miss out on them

So Rochelle is starting to pop up in US stores according to peeps on LJ. Not sure what stores as they seem to mostly be confined to 3rd party sellers (eBay, Amazon Marketplace) and will likely be scare for a while yet but keep your eyes peeled, Americans!
Of course this HAS to happen during the month of April when I'm not allowed to buy anything! UGH!!!!!!

How safe is acetone to use on MH faces? Can I use 100% acetone or should I find a more gentle nail polish remover?
I have used straight acetone on several MH heads and numerous Barbies with no ill effects. Have at it. I think it would be the same as with ponies, nail polish remover just tends to make a gooey mess. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Oooo Cleo does look good with the white!! On another note, I found the werecats at TRU today. I think they had a whole case on the shelf because there were at least 8 of them. I have to pick through them pretty carefully because they all had some kind of paint defect. I would be going totally nutty if I had pre-ordered and saw then on the shelves now, plus like Mandy said, I want to pick the least wonky paint. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Liv fashion set and Clawd's jeans on Gil.
I liked that shirt so much I went out and got it! The ravens are so perfect for the boys!! SOOO excited about the new fashion packs! They all look so awesome, although I do have to agree that Lagoona's is a bit lacking. Yay, more near impossible outfits to get! - Mandy - I keep seeing them all over if you ever want me to pick them up for you...
