I'm back after a few years away and am planning to sell the rest of my childhood pony collection.  I have a complete Lavender Dream Castle.  Everything in it comes from my childhood, except 1 purple goblet that I purchased.  It is identical to my childhood goblet so I'm pretty certain it's original.

Being so rare, I don't even know how to price it.  Would it be better to sell as a set, or split it up?  Most accessories are in NM/excellent condition, except as mentioned below.  I tried to input actual photos into the page, but Photobucket was giving me trouble, so I've only been able to link to the album below.

Condition Issues
Playset: lots of glue yellowing, top and bottom hinges on one side are broken, flag stickers have some age spots
Throne: bottom portion has a tag of plastic breaking off (not visible on display), small black dot near pony on front, pink felt has small discolorations (impossible to photograph)
Goblets: one is bent
Spike: small discoloration at corner of mouth, small paint rub to right foot
Cape: small discoloration spot (haven't tried to clean)
Damsel hat: elastic is frayed, ribbons were put in so the knot it in the middle instead of the end
Brush and Comb: I am 99% sure that these are the right colors.  I always kept my childhood collection separate from my "new" collection and before I sold anything, I checked colors of everything against the wiki, but I can't 100% guarantee that they are the right colors.

As I'm finalizing some of my sets of accessories, I've been squinting my way through trying to ID slight color variations and comparing them to the usual websites.  Unfortunately, the biggest difficulties come when I have more color variations than the websites say exist.  In some cases, you could say it was fading, but I have some that are so different and also have multiple ones in the exact same shade, so it would be difficult to argue that they all faded equally.  Any thoughts on clarifying the shades I have listed below will be really helpful.  Thanks!

For the light pink one maybe someone washed it with bleach, but the color is not at all blotchy.  It is the exact same thickness and length as the other  DnP boas, but I have no idea where this variant could have come from.  It came in a large lot of other MLP accessories, but maybe it was from another 80's Hasbro toy?

The problem is that neither of mine look like any of the accessory photos I've seen posted.  The one on the left is "greener" and the one on the right is definitely more "aqua", but both are way darker than the other photos I've seen.

For the yellow ones, the one on the left is a lighter/paler yellow and the one on the right is darker, too different for it to be just fading.  Does anyone have a MIP Posey Rose or Daisy Dancer that they could check?  I'd like to know if one color consistently went one with the SHSs and one with the Ballerinas, or if it was more random.

Websites list 3 different yellow spoon colors
Light Yellow: Lickety-Split, Starburst, Splashes, Lucky Leaf & Leafy
Yellow: Paws, Countdown
Golden Yellow: Racer

but I clearly have 4 different color yellow ones.
A buttery/creamy light yellow (from childhood, probably Lickety-Split)
B light yellow (from childhood, probably Paws)
C yellow
D golden yellow

Other than being reasonably certain that D came with Racer, I am thoroughly confused, so any info would be helpful.  I have more color questions but I'll save them for another post (stay tuned for stack toys and bear brushes )

I recently added two ladies with crimped hair to my herd.  The first is Rockin' Beats Sweet Notes and the second in Sun Dazzle SHS Sunsplasher, one streak of her mane changes color.  Sweet Notes' hair is in good condition, but Sunsplasher's is frizzy at the ends.

Has anyone here had any luck taming crimped hair frizz without loosing the crimps?  I'm also wondering if there's anything I shouldn't do because the hair is color-changing.  I'd typically give them both a wash and overnight conditioner treatment (if it were straight, I'd use a flat iron), but wanted to check if something as simple as water, or warm water, could damage the crimps/color-change effect.

I need to ID and price some of these G3s, which I'm pretty clueless about.  I think I've ID'd the ponies (thank goodness for Strawberry Reef!) but I also have clothes/accessories.  The clothes on the left (shoes and left) are, I think,  Disney Build a Pony, but I'm not sure about anything to the right of the shoes.  Any ideas on ID?  Or prices for any of the ponies/accessories?

About 3 months ago I got my childhood ponies out of storage.  They had been stored in ziploc bags in cardboard boxes (even when I was a child, my ponies were often stored in ziploc bags).  After seeing a forum post around that time that Party Times usually had regrind issues, I thoroughly checked her over and found a few spots that if you squinted might seem to be more pink than her normal orange, but honestly it was really tough to see.  Since then, she's been on a shelf behind solid wood doors, so she hasn't been getting much sunlight.  I looked at her yesterday and she is covered with pink spots   Really obvious regrind!  I don't know if other people have had this issue, but I thought I'd check, and possibly put it out there that keeping a pony relatively sealed might help prevent regrind from showing up.  It's a shame since she really was a pretty even orange color before 

I'm back with another brush/comb/pick ID question. I've already looked at MLWiki, Ponyland Tours and Great Ponies, but I'm still not sure about 3 yellow hair picks pictured below.

I've tried to include other yellow/orange accessories as reference.  1 and 2 I believe belong to Woosie and the Lavender Dream Castle, but I'm not sure which goes with what.

1.  This pick is definitely light yellow and definitely a different color from pick #2, it's not just faded, but no site mentions a light yellow pick, only yellow or golden yellow.  It's close to the color of Lickety Split's high chair, but it's not quite as creamy a color, and definitely lighter than the yellow of the Lavender Dream Castle shoebox or the mug from the Party Pack
2.  This pick is almost exactly the same color as the mug from the Party Pack and not quite as bright as the Lavender Dream Castle Shoebox.  It's definitely not the same color as the jump ring from the Pink Dream Castle (which I would consider Golden Yellow).  If there are only two colors of yellow for flower picks, then pick #1 is yellow and pick #2 must be golden yellow, but that doesn't seem to fit.
3.  This pick seems to be golden yellow.  The same color as the Pink Dream Castle jump hoop.  Great Ponies ID'ed this as going with Starflower, but it came to me in a lot with a bunch of Party Pack Accessories.  Did the Party Pack come with a golden yellow pick, or just a regular yellow one?

Hi, I'm looking for 2 tails from the Year 2 first set of Rainbow ponies in pink, yellow, green, and blue from Sunlight, Skydancer, Moonstone, Parasol, Starshine, or Windy for restorations.  I hope someone might have a spare or two left over from customs. The hair can be frizzy, but please no hair cuts!

I'd be willing to buy or trade.  For baits, I have some no-symbol ponies (Birthflower and newborn Speckles) as well as a lot of other G1s and accessories in the trade list in my signature.
