I'm planning on doing the same thing I did last time McDonald's had ponies. I'll go in there in the evening the first day they have them (after the dinner rush) and buy a few complete sets from the customer satisfaction box they have. I believe the box has 4 complete sets.

While I'm kind of disappointed with them reusing molds for Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie & Rainbow Dash, I'm just glad to see them finally having ponies again. It was weird that we didn't get any ponies last year.

More like "suddenly Applejack is missing". As an AJ fan I'm annoyed whenever she gets left out because she is the No.1 when it comes to getting left out. Of course I'm happy when a new(ish) character gets added, but I have allergies against AJ/Background Pony swaps. It's less about the remolds and more about the fact that AJ is often ignored.

Well for the MCD version the hair is still the season 1, only appearance of that Luna.. its the body color that is so off.

Since AJ is my least favorite of the main six, I don't really miss her. But you know if they did include her, she wouldn't have her hat and everyone would complain about that.

So personally I don't mind that she isn't going to be in the McD's release this year... They made room for DJ and took Cheerilee out for Luna (since Cheerilee was in the last two runs of the McD's ponies in the US)

Except for the colored stripes in their mane and tails. To me that looks like part of the figure, not a sticker (and I think Fluttershy now has a butterfly on her hoof? That is new?)

Does anyone know if all McDonalds get the same toys at the same time/in the same order? I'm only interested in snagging a Luna so I don't really want to make fifty million trips lolThey don't. I wanna say that a lot of stores will have the first few ponies, but some will get the later runs first. I remember during that starting week the first g4 toys came out, none of the McDs in my city had Princess Celestia (they had the first two or four ponies, IIRC). But a friend of mine who lived 30 minutes away managed to get Celestia (along with the other later numbered ponies) from hers that same week, more or less.

the offical release is tomrrow ^^ and i worked at mcdoandsl they dont nessciarly go in order. they just go to the back grab a toy box and bring it up front and open it.

Got Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle at the one I went to today, though I had a nice surprise, they had Rarity and Princess Celestia from the 2011 set, so I happily got those as well since I wasn't collecting MLP toys back then.They had the 2011 ones? I hope mine got some of the 2011 ones, I only got cheerilee and applejack because they came out at the time when I hated Fim. I'll probably go to mcdonalds tommorow, hopefully I can buy them separately because I only eat non gmo, so I will not buy the food
Also, the lady I talked to said that they get trucks in every Tuesday and Friday (might just be that specific store), so the best time to check would be Wednesday or Saturday to know for sure what they have.

Yeah, that's the basic plan I followed last time. And it works (especially if you ask what different colors of ponies they have)! I just have to work myself up to doing anything like that; phone calls, banking, or making inquiries about plastic equines! ^.^

Also, I have a McDonald's really close by that I need to check out. I've never actually tried to get Happy Meal toys other than the ones they bring you with the meal. Is this Customer Satisfaction box a thingie that has all the varieties in it so people can choose what they want? (That's what I'm guessing from the comments.)
Also has anyone noticed any Vietnam versions like we had with 2012's ponies.wait, what?
6 of 6 mcdonalds I talked to said they don't do the box anymore. :(
I've been to three different McDonalds in my area of town, and all they got in was DJ Pon-3. Weird!I think they are being sent randomly to them, or they are not opening them in order .

The original announcement was that they will be available from 3/28 to 4/8 i think. ,so until next Tuesday
I finally went to McDonald's today for a pony and they were giving away BEANIE BABIES!! Grrr.Wow, sorry to hear that! :( It's most likely old Happy Meal toys they were giving out (I know next month is supposed to be Spider Man, going by the Happy Meal website). Unless that McDonalds is in a very popular place, I can't imagine them running out of ponies so quick.
I was so mad. I was even looking forward to getting a happy meal for lunch.
So not fair that the Mcdonalds in the UK isn't doing these :cry: my daughters would love them. If anyone is selling them and would be willing to ship them to the UK and it's not to expensive I would be very intrested in buying some :biggrin:

According to the little sign that shows the boy and girl toys at my McDonald's, it ends on the 24th.
Also, I did notice that some ponies have the $1 off coupon and some don't. Like, I bought Pinkie Pie but later I saw another Pinkie Pie with a $1 off coupon.

Does anyone else find hunting for McDonald's ponies really addictive? Even when they don't have the one I'm looking for, I end up leaving with whichever pony (ahem... ponies) they have. :blush:It is addictive.....very addictive
I have at least one extra set and so many copies of my favorites that I'm embarrassed to quote actual numbers. I will probably have to make myself sell off the doubles and stop pony-hoarding. So if anyone is looking for a set or the odd pony that they just can't track down, feel free to PM me! :)

but is over, yesterday I stopped at the one at walmart and they did not have them anymore , they still had the display but they were not selling them ,Something about sending them back for kids at the Ronald McDonald house :)
