Next set of Mcdonalds ponies revealed. Rainbowified

W00t! The manager at my preferred McD's was kind enough to check for a CS box this afternoon & I was able to score a complete set! Super effective!

The slightly pearly plastic & updated CMs are nice touches, although I find it interesting that out of the 'reused' molds Celestia appears to be a copy of her 2011 self. She kinda reminds me of a duck...Hey, anyone want some of these $1 off coupons? Toss me a PM; I don't buy brushables.

Sorry, I thought it was mentioned earlier in the thread! There's a coupon in each of the toys' baggies along with their stickers for a dollar off a brushable pony. I thought I may as well offer them to others as I won't use 'em & I got 8 of the suckers!

A sweep of nearly every McD's in the area yielded more and more of the same, curiously. In fact our local one actually had a little more to offer; none of the locations had any Celestias left. Just Pinkies and Twilights as far as the eye could see.

Well, they did mention getting a new shipment in on Saturday night, so I went to the one in town earlier today to see what I could score. Consequently, I have the Fluttershy now. So I'm halfway there!

out of the many I visited over the last 2 days , only one of the stores did not want to sell the toy by itself and did not allow me to buy extra toys,but anywhere else they have no limits ,you can buy as many as you want .

I work at McDonald's and even though we don't get a discount on toys I was lucky, because each box contains two ponies and a box was being finished up so I grabbed two and opened up a new box to finish the boxes of toys so I got two more.  I got Pinkie Pie, Celestia, Fluttershy and Twilight. 

I checked the other boxes but all they had were the ones I already snagged.  Besides, our McDonald's doesn't allow us to open all the boxes.  You can only open one box at a time so some of you guys got lucky (or maybe the managers don't care if you open all the boxes).

I actually didn't care that much for some of the characters, such as DJ but I thought it would be cool to get the entire set--just because.  I had traded my only two G3 McDonald's ponies a while back that was part of a complete trade, but I wish I had saved them.  I gave the stickers to another employee, because I am not a fan of the Rainbow Power and like the ponies better without all the decor, but I didn't know about the brushables coupons--not that I go pony shopping all the time for G4's.

I think someone earlier on mentioned not all of their ponies had the coupon too. Just figures all of mine did. I found it interesting that the ponies came in 3 different sized bags as well, & the stickers came in different sized baggies, some sealed some not. Very consistently inconsistent!

I got a coupon in each one, eight in all. Not sure what to do with them, since IIRC they expire in June and I don't anticipate steampunk Cheerilee being in local stores by then...

Picked up Twilight and Pinkie today Pinkie has a spot of paint on her nose though, so I'l going to try and remove it with some acetone! Other than that though, I'm pleased with the quality of these toys! They feel like they're made of something solid and heavier rather than hollow plastic, which is really nice!

I can't wait to get Rarity and Luna!
