I've had the exact same theory. Surprisingly it's worked out great. =D Once I started getting into Pullips I decided to go ahead and buy all the dolls I wanted. Luckily I got several of them used which saved me some money. Thankfully the only upcoming dolls I really want are the second wave of the steampunk collection. X.X I still have a couple of old type 3 dolls on my wishlist.
Right now I really want some more Dals and Isuls. X.X I'm keeping my eyes open for good deals. XP. Currently I have one Isul, three Taeyangs, one Dal, and five Pullips. I'm totally obsessed with my dolls. >.>

I thought I couldn't love one more than Kiyomi but adfsfer IM SO IN LOVE WITH HER! She's seriously the most beautiful creature I've ever set eyes on. She's so soft and delicate and...beautiful! :faint:
I love Prupate's wig! I don't see anything wrong with it. It does come a bit low over her eyes though, maybe trim the bangs like you said. As for outfits, personally I'm making some thrift store runs tomorrow and maybe picking up a barbie outfit or two from Target since they fit decently. I will go through my clothes and see if there's anything you and Zombielina can have :) I have so many clothes. So many XD I'm sorry about Alte! I guess I know to stay away from type 3 bodies now. Type 4 is slouchy and unbalanced enough as is.
I have Alte and she looks much better in a different wig. One with bangs suits her. I also think her stock wig is to far back giving her a kinda sever look. Almost like she has a receding hairline.

And I'm for sure getting romantic alice pink at some point, so it would be nice to have them both.
For a bit of difference I would go Paja and Alice du Jardin. But I adore romantic Alice. I just want to buy Alice du Jardin as well but shipping from PS is $42 for one doll :cry:

I just rechipped my first Pullip. Poor Naomi was my victim and her stock chips were destroyed in the process but overall it was fairly easy to do and great fun :) Besides the frustrating bit where I couldn't get her stock chips out no matter what I did.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one with that issue. I had my fiancee poke the chips out for me.
All the videos made it look easy, but afterwords he pointed out one where he could see the guy visibly shaking as he did it.

That is a really tough decision...you need dolls to wear the new clothes but you need more clothes for your dolls!

I actually find my type 3's more posable. The arms and legs on mine are fine although the torso is a bit floppy but it gives them more natural movement. The knees also look less strange when bent :)

Another option is to get an angelgate head, they're fake but for all intensive purposes the same as a pullip head ^.^

The nicest wig I have in terms of managability is definitely Dahlia's, but the softest is Ruhe's. It feels like water sliding over your hands ^.^

Still soft! The nicest Pullip wig I've ever touched is probably My Select Ddalgi's and BRH's is comparable to that.. Seriously!
BRH is just... just perfect! :lovey: I love the purple eyes, smoky eyeshadow, maroon hair, pale skin, red lips, and of course her glorious stock, all the white ruffles and the hooded cloak and the stompy boots... :heart: She's just inescapably irresistible...This for sure! All of the reasons above are why I adore my BRH.. Especially the smokey eyes (matched with the soft purple eye shadow, so beautiful!). Her stock is definitely one of the most detailed! I also love her stompy (unlaced! :heart:) boots.
Zombelina, they are adorable together! Dolly perfection.
