Do you let your pets sleep on the bed?

We have three cats and all of them are welcome to the bed if they want to. Tarzan always snuggles up to me when I go to sleep and I have a hard time falling a sleep the few times she decides to be elsewhere. The other two usually only sleep in the bed daytime, at night they jump up on top of our closet and sleep there.

Our (medium-large) dog and cat are allowed upstairs and onto our beds whenever they like, though some nights we keep them down. Not because we want to - The dog likes to go 'hyper' during the night, and the cat likes to bite your nose to wake you up in the early hours of the morning

I love having my kitties sleep on my bed. (: That being said, even if I didn't want them to, I wouldn't really have a choice. Meloh absolutely adores me (for some strange reason, I think she thinks I'm her momma cat), and she likes to sleep under the covers curled up against me hahah. <3

Nope, my dog, Gatsby, is crate trained. At night he sleeps in a crate. He can nap with me during the day though.

At home we shut our cats in the living room during the night so they can't get into our bedrooms and clatter about causing mischief (because they WOULD). They can sleep on the sofas and chairs, and have access to the back door cat flap, so they're fine there.

Generally somebody else will wake up before me in the morning, releasing the cats, so sometimes one (normally Maddie, who is MY cat) will run upstairs to sleep on my bed. She'll either sit by my feet on top of the covers, or burrow underneath and curl up in a warm fuzzy ball by my side. It's a nice thing to wake up to
Also, she WILL drink from my bedside water mug. I have to remember not to take a sip in the morning if Maddie is there!

When I had school I used to keep my bedroom door shut fully on school nights, so the cats would have to scratch at the door if they wanted in in the morning, and I'd have to get up to let them in. Otherwise they would snuggle into my bed and make me want to go back to sleep
But since I don't have to get up early for school any more I leave my door ajar and the cats can come and go as they please in the morning.

I love cuddling with him he even gets under the bed sheets haha he is so spoiled!
We keep him extra clean though!

My family has always owned cats, and they have always been allowed on the bed. The first cat that we owned would actually curl up in the crook of my arm and sleep with his head pressed in to my face lol. Stella (current cat) is allowed to sleep where ever she wants and she'll normally take cat naps on my bed during the day. During the winter she typically ends up going to bed with me, but that stops when it starts getting warmer again lol.

Sarge the greyhound doesn't get to sleep on the bed. He lays with us for a bit, but to fit 2 humans and an 85 lb beast that likes to slowly stretch his legs straight out simply doesn't work. He's got a big 'ol dog bed on the floor.

My cat Simba sleep right besides my pillow or on my arm, he's purring is a magical sleeping remedy

No.  Our bedroom and the connected bathroom are Ripley-free zones.  She sleeps in her crate right outside our door, so it's not like she's super far away.

We have a spare bed in my husband's office, though, and that is HER bed if you ask her LOL

Yep. My little Dixie (she's a Chihuahua) is very spoiled. She gets to sleep with me every night.

My dog used to sleep on my bed on a blanket (to protect the human bedding from hair/smell), but I have a smaller bed now and there is no room for her anymore.  She's not one to get pushy about personal space or anything, so I never worried about it becoming some kind of power struggle.  Sadly I don't have a kitty around anymore, but I would allow one to sleep with me as long as that didn't mean on my face
