I love monster at the end of this book... greatest childrens book ever! So Grover, Elmo and Grouchy were mine, but there weren't really any characters I didn't like, really!

My favourites are Burt, Ernie and Elmo. :) I don't really like Cookie Monster because when I was little I had a nightmare that he mistook me for a cookie and tried to eat me. I just couldn't see him in the same light after that.

I think I'll have to do a Muppet Show poll next. :P Bunsen, Beaker, Scooter, Rolf the Dog, etc etc.

I picked Oscar, The Count, and other. The other being Don Music (I had a small upright piano when I was 3 and I'd hit my head on it like he did).

And of course there's an MLP connection to him also: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-22c2vbOwSo

My three are Oscar, Slimey and Snuffy. Though I'm old enough to remember, when characters from the Muppet Show. Crossed over into Sesame Street. Good memories.

Holy  :bolt: Those alien things!!! They scared the heck out of me. I vividly remember them wanting a piece of fruit, I called it space nectarines. Creepy little things.

Grover all the way :) Also love Oscar and Cookie Monster. I have a soft spot for Big Bird too because of the movie. The one where he gets birdnapped. The song he sings always made me cry

But this guy (Nobody, I've since learned he's called) gave me nightmares:

:yikes:  Too trippy and creepy for a kid.  By far. :yikes:

Depends on the kid. I loved stuff like this (still do :P )

For some reason or another maybe. I always have liked Grover. I remember I used to love sesame street and I let my daughter watch it now and then. I think it was a great show when I was a kid. I think it is ok now but not as good as it once was.

Whaaa.. I can't choose all of them?
I love the muppets so much but I guess I have to go with Grover as my fav. because I know he was the one I loved the most as a kid.  ^.^ I have "The monster at the end of this book" too!

Okay, to anyone who hasn't seen the new Muppets movie that came out a couple years ago: WATCH IT. It is truly a gem. ^.^

I agree. I saw it in theater and got so emotional seeing it. The movie was so much better than expected and really goes back to the roots of what the muppets are about. I own it on blu ray now.
