I had to put a vote for "other" for... Meryl Sheep!!  I remember trying to catch the episodes where she was on.  LOL  Elmo was a fave of mine back then too.  He didn't used to be on very much!  This was waaay before "Tickle Me Elmo."

When I was little I loved the Yip-yips, Twiddlebugs, the Count, Teeny Little Super Guy, and Prairie Dawn. Sesame Street used to be so much better than it is now.

Cookie Monster and Oscar the Grouch have *always* been my favorites   I haven't even seen Sesame Street in probably 20 years, so I don't know how/if they've changed, but they will always remind me of childhood.

And STLGusty and Eluluu?  I *still* talk about those aliens, too! 

True story about me and Sesame Street.  When I was a kid, we had this tape player that came with these activity book things and each page you could interact with by pushing a colored button for different replies and the tape would "magically" go to that response.  One of the Sesame Street books had a page where Snuffleupagus asked you how many of his cabbages you wanted to share with him and you could choose 0, 1, 2, or 3 and I ALWAYS chose zero because I thought (and still think) cabbage is disgusting and his answer was something along the lines of "Then that means more for me" which I, for whatever reason, thought sounded pretty selfish, and I grew up absolutely *hating* Snuffleupagus because of it.  Funny thing is, I never pushed the other buttons just to see what else he said because my 4 year old mind thought there would be real-life cabbage-related ramifications for me doing so, lol.

I was never huge in to Sesame Street, but I LOVED the Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, Fraggle Rock, etc.

I picked Kermit, Cookie Monster, and Grover. :3
