Don't be depressed.  Just think how far you have come!  This challenge is about habits and they take a while to form.  The fact you are still plugging away (as well as checking in here) shows how determined you are.  Your efforts will pay off!  Keep at it :hug:

Surfstar, I'm not going to lie - tubing sounds awful.  Even now with the weight I have lost I still enjoy the taste of my food and the full feeling it gives me.  Food is not the enemy, you can eat it and still lose weight.  I hope your hospital stay helps you lots and that when you come out you feel much more healthy and energetic.  :hug:

2 point day for me today.  I am trying to cut down my carbs further because my friend has explained it will help me lose weight faster (even though I love my bread and potatoes!).  In the weekend I usually have two boiled eggs and two slices of sandwhich bread for lunch, so today I had just the one slice and I was surprised to find I did not miss it. 

I went for a 35 minute run today (plus 5 min walk to warm down) and only walked for two short periods!  I'm surprised how quickly my fitness is coming back to me.  It must be all of those stairs I slog up during the week, lol.

Hubby is away hunting this weekend so I am sitting her in my baggy pants with my new boots on, lol.

Yep, this week has been pretty bad for me. I haven't been eating bad really...I just havent been eating. Stress of everything has gotten to me. On the plus side my gym opens in a week! I've been exercising due to my work and I'm starting to look better.

Oh, it's not at all painful! It's a bit of a shock the first time and takes getting used to, but the only discomfort really is that sometimes it can irritate your throat a little. What I found worse initially was that I was allergic to pretty much every kind of adhesive they put on my face.. tegaderm, mefix, micropore tape, plasters.. a desperate nurse tried steri-strips (by then we were having complications with tubes).. which did the trick. ^.^

The three 'dislikes' is giving me a tiny bit of comfort.. I know for certain I won't be eating fish (haven't since being a young child), peppers.. the third one's tough bc I hate so many things which I won't be allowed to skip (like milk and butter). It's not even an ED thing, I've *never* had those as I could never stand dry food touching wet and going soggy!!

Well, after two days of getting my workout in, I lost it on Wednesday and haven't picked it back up yet. I just have to do it first thing or it's simply not going to get done. Plus, both of my outside physical activities (tai chi and riding lesson) both got cancelled this week, so  :poke:

On the plus side, having reduced my carb/sugar intake so much is making me really sensitive to how I feel when I do binge on junk which is motivating me to not do that. And my mom told me last night that I look like I'm losing weight.  :cheer:

It's hard not to be frustrated, though, because I could be do SO much better if I would just put a little tiny bit more effort into it. I just keep trying to remind myself that I am making progress and in this situation, all progress is good progress. Anybody wanna come kick me outta bed at 8am every morning?

I don't like soggy food, either!!  Though I do like butter.  but butter doesn't make food TOO soggy.  Even bread.

Oops!  *facehoof*  Lol, lucky you read my post and worked out my meaning.  Three food dislikes would be difficult for me too.  There is sooo much that I won't eat (yes, for somebody who is overweight I am an ultra fussy eater).  I hope you don't have to eat too much that you really dislike because I can't imagine that will help you learn to enjoy the whole routine of eating. :hug:

I had another 2 point day.  I went for a 30 minute run (only a brief walk at the start because my asthma was playing up with the wet weather) and have eaten really well.

Thanks for the responses everyone. :)

Yesterday I ended up walking around 3 miles or maybe even more! I walked to my aunt's house and then walked back down to the antique stores, and then back up and to safeway. Gosh my back wasn't happy with it but the rest of me is xD My back only hurt because my purse was heavy on the walk to her house.

Luckily my specialist has contacted my outreach team, so they're now aware that some of my food adversions are long-running and not at all related to my illness.. We're hoping they'll be a little more lenient with me, fingers crossed. Me too, honey.. It does seem rather backwards after all :( :hug:

Weigh-in at my final clinic (before admission) today, back to 98lbs.. no surprise really. It's going to be tough not seeing Heather.. I know I'll really miss her! I've spent most of my summer in clinic, and I couldn't have wished for somebody more caring, dedicated and persistant <3 (I bought her a little notebook in town as she has a habit of doodling all over my notes, she was so touched ^.^) She said she'll come to visit me, and the EDU said they'll contact her frequently..

Suitcase is nearly completely packed, tomorrow we're picking up the final essentials.. pretty scared, admittedly.. :yikes: but it's for the best.. I don't want to die.. it's time to start fighting. ^.^

I'm doing ok, I got 2 points the last 2 days! :) Roller Skating and then yesterday I walked all day at the Bristol Renaissance Faire! I would've been fine if I hadn't have been wearing a skirt... my poor thighs.
