Cool Breeze is totally worth it. She's not one you find often at all. I don't like leaving ponies behind either, not even a Cotton Candy. And for the record, I'm seriously low on Peachys. I have my childhood Peachy and one other. I'd be all for finding more Peachys.

I am one of the very few that would not buy that LOL..but I don't fix up ponies a whole lot and by the time I fixed that I could have just bought one off of a seller for a little less...but I admire people who fix the ponies up.

I have a super baity AJ and Gingerbread in front of me for this exact reason. Then again, I'm the no toy left behind girl as well (you should see the box of broken transformers at my hosue...geez...)

But, I always belive I can restore to some degree and if not, who cares? They have a loving home here with me :)

I would deem her as "restore bait" instead of custom bait. :D

I like that term.

She only needs a clean, some hair and wings and she will be perfect!

I'm with most others - restore. And I definitely wouldn't call her seriously damaged - to me, that is in the realm of...missing limbs, chewed off horns, melted body parts etc. Hah.
Looking for: Alternate Birthflowers, Baity wingers, So softs - both minty and for deflocking - and DREAM BEAUTIES!

I would TOTALLY buy/clean up that Cool Breeze but I have a general soft spot for wingers. <3

Right now I'm in the process of restoring some very common ponies and it really is a ton of work. I usually have "the no pony left behind" mentality but after this.. I'm thinking unless they are more rare, like your Cool Breeze, I might just leave them if they are really really bad. ;-;

I buy poor condition ponies even if I don't plan to restore them. For example, with Cool Breeze here, I might rehair, but I wouldn't bother with new wings. Most of the time, I really don't restore beyond a possible paint touch-up and sunfading. I've even sold the better condition of duplicates that I had and kept the damaged ones before because I figure if someone else won't love them, I will.

For me I'm totally willing to buy ponies in rough shape with two caveats.

The pony must be an earlier pony (G1 or G2) and the ponies price must reflect it's damage.

As sad as I feel for a beat up pony I'm not willing to shell out big bucks for a major fixer upper. Unfortunately a lot of people at garage sales and flea markets know just enough about MLPs to know that they are collectible and will price them all the same with no consideration for condition :(
