Would you buy a pony like this?

Just curious.  I am a No Pony Left Behind kind of gal, so when I saw this sad little face, I knew I had to give her a home.

She's not exactly "damaged" tho is she? Even her symbol looks intact.
Many of you on here seem to be able to re-hair with your eyes closed, so I wouldn't say she's bait.

Personally I'm a fussy collector but i hate seeing rough G1s getting baited, when I know they can be restored.

well, she looks restorable enough :) I've seen people here make beutiful raplacement wings, and re-hair aint too difficult, her eyes and symbols looks nice. with a bit of TLC, she'll be as beautiful as ever :) <3 so yes, I'd buy her.

I dont have the skill unfortunately to fix them! I can rehair and I can remove most marks but I dont have steady access to sunlight [lol...Scotland!] or the talent to sculpt or major repair.....but for all that if i saw a long little pony in a charity shop I couldnt leave her behind!

Cool Breeze looks like a full on "project" sweetie!

I chose option 2, because in Singapore shops want to charge you $10 for a dingy pony, so unless I need it badly or it's slightly htf, I'll probably give it a miss. For Cool Breeze, sure, I'll rescue her, try to restore and find her a new home. If it's Peachy or Sundance, I'll say sorry and goodbye.

HTF ponies definitely look sadder than common ponies, which is why I prefer to rescue them. lol

She is totally restorable! Ponies like that are really fun because you can fix them up so pretty again, it's really rewarding :) All that girl needs is a good scrub, a little hair (wingers don't even take long to rehair, and she only needs one color. Super easy :) ) and some new wings and she'll be beautiful again!

I don't see G1s in the local thrift stores often. The only one I saw that I didn't pick up was a $2 unknown twinkle eye (most likely Masquerade or Tic-Tac-Toe) looked like it's legs had been savaged by a dog. This little chickie? Oh yeah.

Has she had her bath yet? Maybe some acetone would take off some of the leftover marks to start with? After that, a bit of new hair, new wings and perhaps further stain treatments and she could be lovely!

If the price were right, most definitely. Although if I saw her for sale online, maybe not unless she came with other ponies.

Based on the fact it's Cool Breeze and she is a) one of my favorites and b) sought after, I would restore her :)

If she were say Peachy, then I'd bait her :)
