Depending on price I would buy her and pay someone to restore her for me, as I've never tried rehairing. :) Still cheaper than a regular Cool Breeze.

Poor thing!

But with a bath and some new hair I bet she will be fine.  <3

D'oh, poor dear. :<  My belief is that no pony is beyond repair.  :3  She just needs a bath, hair, and some shiny new wings.

If I was better at restoring I would consider it, but at the moment I know I wouldnt be able to do her justice :) I would like her to go to someone with the skills to make her the best she can  be :)

If I ended up buying her, I'd probably bait her for a custom because I have no idea how to restore ponies beyond an oxy bath and washing hair, nor the money to get such supplies or works done :(

Actually it depends in the condition of the pony AND the price.

I usually don't pay more than 1 or 2 top for a damaged pony... but if it is a damaged pony that I DON'T have, I'll be more than happy to  have it =3

Only left behind some really damaged ponies I already have and who were WAY overpriced...

I should try restoring my Barnacle but I have no idea what to do. He has wonderful eyes, hair (that I've managed to completely defrizz and is now ~fabulous~) and symbols but as a lot of Barnacles do, he has pretty obvious cancer. He also has some sort of spots that appear to be burn marks  (poor baby!) and mild mold spots. Oh and his head is darker than his body. I adore him, but I'm at a loss as to what else I can do. :( Can I somehow sunfade his head to be lighter..? Or would that probably not do too much on blue?

I think there is little you can do about the head/body mismatch, but others have suggested putting a bandana or pony sized scarf around his neck.  That is supposed to help make it less noticeable.  There isn't much that can be done for the pony cancer, but I'm sure you can make him comfortable.  Good luck Flitter!!

If you know how to customize, surely restoring can't be much different..? I mean if you can rehair a custom, then that's no issue. If any paint needs major fixing (like if an eye is almost gone or something) then you just repaint it like you paint a customs eye, except try to mimic the correct style. Other than that there isn't usually much more to restoring unless sculpting needs done.
