« on: May 28, 2017, 07:21:34 PM »
... Of a pony that came in a lot, on two of her hooves are the names (Katt )and (Birring or Bitting or Bitring) (hard to tell if t's or r's).

Anyone here go by that name at one time or another?  :)

I wonder if, after reading this, you will be contacted by folks who would be willing to donate their pre-loved ponies to you!  :frolic:

Oh, now that ^^ would be simply awesome!
What a nice article, FarDreamer!

Pony Corral / Re: Shelves
« on: December 12, 2016, 09:12:10 AM »
Somewhere, someplace, when considering how to keep dust away from open-air bookshelves, i found a site where you could purchase thin, clear plexiglass-like stuff in various  sizes. The thinking was to attach them to the front of the shelves, even if only leaning them there until I figured out how to attach them without putting any holes in the bookshelves. I never bought them, and now I can,t recall where I found the stuff, but it,s out there, and for those who cannot afford glass door shelves, it's one possible solution to the dust problem. If I remember the website later, will report back in.

That is just sooooooo awesome! I adore the garden and pirate ship! and just rawwwwr that it will have to be all packed up and put away.... will you re-set it up the same way once you have space for it in the new abode, or do you have ideas for add-ons and/or changes?

white body with either deep purple or dark blue hair! pastel yellow body with very light pink hair, too. :) (actually... sitting here looking at them all and going, 'ooh, Waterfire... royal blue and bright orange like a fall sky... ooh, Nightglider blue with white hair... oooh, Tootsy green with blue hair...." etc...there are probably fewer combos I don't like than those I do. ha!)

Pony Corral / Re: Can a Pony's Personality Affect Whether You Buy Them?
« on: August 13, 2016, 04:50:42 PM »
Interesting thoughts here! Not having seen the 1980s cartoons, the G1s I like are all about the colors and poses. My kid, on the other hand, picked his first round of G1s based on the characters as he watched the show.  Same with G3s and G2s--all about the colors. but G4, I have watched the cartoons, and the personalities do affect my propensity for one over another. I love Pinkie Pie's silliness and bounceyness, and absolutely dislike the color pink, nor are balloons a symbol I would choose, given a choice. Yet, despite my preference for Fluttershy's colors, here I sit with a Pinkie pie army (have narrowed my G4 focus to all the different forms of PP and any background characters that they come out with in the playful size. Keeping just one of each of the other mane six).

My happy thought for the day is you sitting there, surrounded by Pinkie Pies. (Like many of us.)

Yes... it *is* rather.... loud? in here :P

I don't remember the origin of Smelly Treats and unless the dog dug her up she is still out there.

BRB, gonna ask Aadra if she remembers where we buried her...

That would be cool if you found her!

It is hot and I am lazy, so I am trying to coerce my 5 year old niece into digging for me.  When I asked my mother if she remembered us burying a pony, her response wasn't the more expected, "What do you mean you buried a pony in my yard" or "FFS why can't you be normal."  It was, instead, "What did it smell like?"  As if I bury smelly ponies routinely and she needed to know the particular odor to remember if I'd buried that specific one.

 This is one of the greatest pony stories I've ever heard! I NEED to hear how it ends and if you find "Smelly Treats" and if she still stinks.

This just keeps getting better. Parking self in thread to hear the end.

Happy that Concerned Pony has had a baby, perhaps now she will be less concerned.
Yet I really want them! Some fakies are just so delightfully weird.

Less concerned now that she has a baby to worry about and raise? If anything it will make her mane turn gray!!! Hahaha
