I finally went to McDonald's today for a pony and they were giving away BEANIE BABIES!! Grrr.
I was so mad. I was even looking forward to getting a happy meal for lunch.

I'm just awful about talking to people and asking for things, especially if I feel awkward about it
Me too.   -_-

Do the stickers not stick to the ponies very well? I haven't gotten any yet to try, but in everyone's photos the stickers appear to be half stuck?

Is anyone else disappointed that they only came with stickers and aren't actually TAF rainbowfied? I was really surprised when I picked up Pinky pie and twilight sparkle that they only had stickers.
I think the stickers are a neat thing. They're for kids, after all. And kids love stickers and toys they can actually spend some time playing with.

Nothing can top the puppy bowl. I did watch some of the super bowl but it was such a boring game.

My decorations are all blue and white/silver. Some things have a little bit of red but not much. I do polar bears, reindeer, and snowmen. I like to keep more of a general winter theme and don't go too crazy with the decorating so I can enjoy it until February.
I don't have a tree. There is no room for one in my apartment plus I leave in mid December to spend a few weeks with family, and there is a nice big tree to enjoy and everything that goes along with the holiday so I get my full share of Christmas. :)
Recently I have started to like Christmas a lot more and like to go all out with my family but I can definitely wait until Thanksgiving to get in the "mood" and I am absolutely done by Jan 1.

Lots of black cats in my life! There was one in the household when I was born, a black and white named Ninja. Then when I was about 11 we had an all black cat named Miss Kitty.

When I was in vet school I also had two - Tom and Sable, and they were adopted out.

I'm sure I have pics somewhere of the last two, but too much trouble to go searching for them. For some reason the black cats were always the sweetest. They had the best personalities.

My dog was going to dress in a simple mummy costume, but now I've decided to enter him a few contests so I'm thinking of something more elaborate. I won't be dressing up unless I think of a dog/owner idea that is cool.

No reason for me to have a costume. I'd be all dressed up with nowhere to go.  :(

I've never liked my name much. It's common but not overused. I don't like that it's "hard" and doesn't sound feminine.
I like obscure hippie names a lot, but would be fine with a super common one as long it sounds pretty..

No sexual abuse scene can be as bad as the original Last House on the Left.

I have a strong stomach and I have seen a lot of things, but that movie is by far the most disgusting movie I have ever seen in my life.

Off Topic / Re: What religion are you?
« on: July 04, 2013, 01:19:40 AM »
Cool topic.
I was raised Catholic, even attended a private Catholic school until high school. I actually really enjoyed the school, but hated the fact that I was basically in a constant state of confusion. It was just like, here's how things are and that's that, and it never made any sense to me. I began to really despise it and as I got older I started researching other religions. We attended church on Sundays and holy days, and then when I had to go to confirmation classes "religion" started getting in the way of other things I would have rather done instead. The final straw was when I had the courage to speak up and ask some serious questions during classes. None of my questions were able to be answered.
I don't like a lot of concepts, such as the existence of hell and sin.

I turned to Wicca when I was about 16 because there WAS an answer for everything I questioned, and it felt very natural and comfortable to me. This is what I still follow, but not so actively.

As I got older I decided to allow the religion I grew up with back into my life as well. Even though I don't agree with it, my family still does (although not devout followers) and I like to be able to celebrate some special days with them.

I want to see yours. I don't remember there really being any toys. Loved the movie as a kid though.

I saw World War Z tonight. I thought it was very good, unfortunately I have not read the book so I can't compare.
There are a lot of books that make great movies. Sometimes there are just too many at once though. Not enough originality.
