Hi everyone! Yes I'm still around  I'm very busy with a move from China back to France and preparing for a special event at the end of the year for which I have to clear some room! Hi everyone! I've been contemplating getting a tablet to draw and I've always loved Wacom, I had the occasion to try the DTZ-2100 and just now discovered the DTU-710. The price difference is absolutely amazing and I'd love to know the difference between these two? The stats don't say much to my stupid brain. I don't want to go for the smaller one and regret it or buy the big one and notice later that it's just too big for my small needs. I tried a regular tablet for a long time and just don't get used to drawing while looking at my screen so seeing what I draw under my fingers would be better. Thanks for your help

Yup! Another time to party! Tonight is Chinese new year's eve! I'm expected not to sleep before 3am because of all the fireworks lighting! Sounds like the city is under attack but it's fun once you're used to it. Do you celebrate chinese new year? Happy snake year to all

So I'm a teacher in china and live on one of the school campuses. Last night, around midnight, everything went off  so now we're out of heater, out of light and Internet connexion. Fixing will take 3 days. We'll go live at my husband's parents house but their house is not insulated (at all, as usual here) and I won't be allowed to turn any heating device on... There's only 9 little degrees in our bedroom right now *goes back to freeze*

As for me, I want to make at least one custom a month. I know that sounds little compared with the recent "one custom a day" challenge that took place recently but my last custom was finished like ... 4 month ago? I have ideas, I lack time :s
How about you? Want to try something new? Learn other techniques? Let us know!

So I noticed we haven't seen pics of upcomming ponies for a while ... and except for a few trial ponies with tinsel and the crystal line, there's nothing other than the regular releases on taobao.
So it made me wonder: Did Hasbro got tired of all the leaked ponies and made stronger controls on pony espacing the factory? Is there nothing more than the crystal line comming up?
I can feel something is happenning (or maaybe I'm just hoping?), sometyhing that we'll love and they're just hidding it from us!
I'm torn between "I NEED to know" and "Let's keep the surprise"

Hi everyone!
I need your help! I just started my second year as an English teacher in China and this time they decided to give me kindergarten.
The kids are lovely and the highest grade already has pretty good bases. I'd love to teach them songs but I don't know many myself.
I used to work in a summer camp so I know a lot of songs ... all in french ^^
Any simple and cute songs to advise me? The more the better! Titles preferred as I can't open YouTube.

Hi everyone, During my trip back home, I found the time to make a simple custom. Between all my trips and all I managed to make this girl that I love more than I would have thought. Pics first: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe started her life as a Sweetie Belle with a glittery horn. After prepping her I decided not to attack the crazy G3 glitter which ended up being a good idea! I used a sponge to make blue marks on her sides and face. Blue marks are pearly and I loved using a sponge, it gave me a nice smooth result. I'll have to try gradients and FBR this way! Then came the tricky part of simple and steady snowflakes. 3 layers of paints were needed and I got surprised to managed to paint over my lines again and again :3 *proud* I finally added glitter on top of the sealant for extra shine and some swarovski crystals. Rehaired in white, ehhh ... blue (forgot the name >.<) and starlight. I hope you like her

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are trying to plan our future (yeah big thing... I guess it's a lifelong thing right?)
We considered my country at first but the more we think about it, the less appropriate it sounds. Both of us speak english, he's chinese, I'm french, going to a native english speaking place sounds great!
Our plan would be to buy a house within 2 or 3 years. Of course we will travel to Canada to see what place we like better but we both seem to love Nova Scotia: forest, sea, big spaces, all we love! Looking a little more online, people living there talk about how expensive life is :/ Is anyone here from Nova Scotia?
What other places would you advise to a young couple, going to have kids, who are not afraid of big emply spaces, love nature and the sea?
I'm open to PM or anything.

Soda pop? Something like that ^^" Her paint work is white (yes white! muahaha I used white on my monochrome pink pony) mixed with hot pink glow in the dark powder. Yes she glows! and she glows a slightly pink glow :3 Her flowers are shaded with light pink edges and hot pink centers but it didn't show on the pics. Each flower has little pearls in the middle. At first I wanted to make her regular pink eyes but believe it or not my red and white paint refused to make pink so I used my glow mix again. Hair is nylon with my curly tinsel then curled. Though pink is far from being my fav color, I had a blast making her and it was hard to let her go!
