Fiancé and I went to a swap meet today and found a lot of ponies! We've never really collected G1s (started in the G3 era), but we found these and figured they'd be worth the buy. We spent around $9 for the lot of them. Can you tell us who they are and rough prices? They all need to be cleaned up, but some of them are in good shape otherwise! So I won a lot of non-pony items on eBay last night. This morning...the seller shows up at my door and hands them to me. I previously realized that he was also located in Arizona, but I found it a little odd/creepy that he just showed up to my house. He didn't message to ask if it was okay or anything either. Plus, I paid $5 for shipping. I just found this really uncomfortable.
Has anyone else ever had an encounter like this? What would you do in regard to feedback? I'm happy enough with the items...just not so much the delivery I guess.

So my fiancé and I are planning a trip to Disneyland in December. We have five dogs and are trying to decide what to do with them. We think we will board three of them in town, and take the smaller two (who are sensitive/don't do well without us) to Disney with us. We are looking into what to do with them while we are at the park and found the Disneyland Kennel Club at the park.
We are totally fine with walking/pottying them ourselves every few hours as the website states.
It seems to have good reviews on yelp. But I was wondering if anyone here has actually used it and has a first hand experience?

So in wondering if starting just a week or two sooner would help those who would like to be free for multiple holiday swaps? The timeline from last year can be seen in the link above, but I've pasted it here as well: -Sign-ups September 20 until Monday, September 30 (or until we get 15 participants) -Partners by Thursday, October 3rd -Shopping: October 4 – November 1st -Shipping: November 1st – November 7th Budget (last year was $15 plus $5 extras). I recently graduated from nursing school and my lovely friend Emberfly has sent me some really amazing graduation gifts! I just have to say how thankful I am to have gotten these! First is this really beautiful vintage music box/sculpture. I collect things from the disney movie, Aristocats, and this features one of my favorite characters from the movie, Scat Cat. It's a locket that has little charms that can be put into it. Emberfly got me an "RN" charm (registered nurse), a lucky horseshoe, a dog paw (because I love my dog babies), and the birth stone of both me and my fiancé. So my other half and I are leaving for a trip to Disneyland in three days and have been downloading all sorts of disney songs to listen to on the way! Which brought up a debate: Which disney movie has the BEST music? My other half says Tarzan...because, ya know...Phil Collins. I am undecided but likely between The Little Mermaid and Tarzan. Don't think about which Disney movie you like best, vote only based on the music!

So my half sister said her mom shipped a box off to me on either December 19 or 20th. It was likely sent the cheapest option (standard or parcel post).
I know there was Christmas and New Year's Day within the weeks it's been in transit. Plus the high volume of items being shipped.
But it's now been two weeks and still no package. Should I be concerned yet? I thought it'd be here by now. My sister lives in a very small town in northern Nevada, so that may be a factor as well?

My lovely friend, Emberfly sent me and my SO some lovely presents! Hey all! Sunshine, Madhatterda, and I were all discussing the possibility of a pet supply/treats/toys swap after the holidays. We were commenting on how much we spend on our animals and how much we love to buy them new things, so why not do a swap for our pets! It seems like when the pet question comes up in our "people" swaps, everyone is super excited to share pictures and stories!
We want to see what kind of interest there is for something like this!!
We were toying around with a budget of about $20...with maybe a $5 extras budget for "parent" goodies. (Hey, we deserve a treat, too!). If you're interested, would you be okay with this budget? Do you think someone could get enough items for your pet in this budget?
Also, it was mentioned that many pets (like one of mine) have allergies, which would need to be communicated and the partner would need to be okay with the idea of shopping around said allergy. For example, my dog is allergic to wheat, beef, and bird meat. So any treats for her would need to be salmon, sweet potato, etc. It'd also be important to add whether you are okay with feeding your animals certain things...again for example: someone only feeds their animal treats made in the US due to contamination of products made in China/other countries.
And of course, you'd have to include the things your pet likes!!
