Who did I find? / Price check

Fiancé and I went to a swap meet today and found a lot of ponies! We've never really collected G1s (started in the G3 era), but we found these and figured they'd be worth the buy. We spent around $9 for the lot of them.

Can you tell us who they are and rough prices? They all need to be cleaned up, but some of them are in good shape otherwise! We may end up keeping some and selling some.

Oh, and the seapony has something that rattles inside her. Is that normal? Her neck seal doesn't look broken, so I wasn't sure if it was a weight of some sort?

Congrats on your findings!

I think the sea ponies have inside a little weight to keep them floating correctly. And the pony with the hole, I think it came originally with a straw (for ice cream or something)

$9 for that lot is AWESOME!  For the ponies you've got:

(first pic) Cherries Jubilee, Daddy Bright Bouquet, Daddy Apple Delight, Floater, Mommy Bright Bouquet and Newborn Twin Sticky or Sniffles (the other one is in the second pic, so you have the pair of them )

(second pic) Buzzer (I *believe*  Wingers kind of run together in my head  ), Shoreline, Strawberry Scoops, Flower Dream and one of the Bridal ponies.

The wings on the winger are original, which isn't terribly uncommon for them - they tend to be more durable than Flutter pony wings.  Strawberry Scoops has a hole in her mouth because she came with a soda float that she could "drink" little beads up the straw from   I'm not really in to sea ponies, so I can't help you much there, but I do know that they were weighted in the bottom so that they'd stay upright in water, and that may be what you're feeling clanking around in there

Adult boy ponies are always pretty sought after, twin sets are usually at least $12 for the pair (often times more), and I know that Wingers and Strawberry Scoops come up for sale less frequently than some others.  I'd help you better with PCs, but I'm terrible with them

Re: the sea pony: yes, adult sea ponies do have a weight in them to keep them floating upright. And these weights tend to break down and fall apart, so don't be surprised if you find something that looks like a giant bug in there. It's just a rusty weight.

It's hard to tell from the photos, but Shoreline looks like her hair might not be too terribly frizzy, which would be nice! She's a Sunshine Pony, so the white stripe changes color in the sun; unfortunately, it also becomes a fizzy, matted, unfixable mess on nearly all of them. I would suggest not combing that one's hair too much, and avoiding hot water with her. Otherwise, the rest look like they'll clean up really nice! You got a fantastic deal!

These are the first G1s that we have, so we were pretty excited to find them for less than a dollar a piece. Next up for them is a good bath and conditioner!

Yeah we got the winger, daddy apple delight, and cherries jubilee from three seperate sellers. I think we paid .50, $1, and .75 respectively. The rest we got from one seller and paid $7 for them.

We aren't sure if we will keep or sell. I'm leaning towards keep, especially once they're cleaned up! They have a special charm to them!
