Title: Pokemon General Thread
Post by: Leave a Whisper on October 04, 2014, 07:59:28 PM
My first ever was Pikachu in Pokémon Yellow

For every generation
Squirtle in Leaf Green
Chikorita in Crystal
Treecko in Sapphire
Tepig in Black 2

I dunno if I'm gonna choose Fennekin or Froakie when I play through Y

Mine was Treeko in Ruby :)

In all gens I had:
SoulSilver - Cyndaquil
Diamond - Piplup
Black - Oshawott
X - Froakie

Charmander would be my Gen 1 pick, but I never owned a gen 1 game

My first starter was Charmander in Red version.

Silver: Cyndaquil
FireRed: Charmander
SoulSilver: Cyndaquil
Black: Tepig
Black 2: Snivy
Y: Chespin/Squirtle (since you get a gen 1 starter as well)
And I'll be picking Treecko for Alpha Sapphire next month.
If there's ever a Z version, I'll pick Froakie.  I love Froakie!

I'm not sure who I'd pick as a starter for the 4th gen games. I don't like any of them, really... I was never a fan of gen 4, hence why I didn't play any of those games.

Pokemon Red (1996)- Charmander

I've been playing Pokemon since it came out. There is NO WAY I can remember who my started was for each new game. I'm pretty sure that I started with Charmander in Blue, but I couldn't swear to it.

I'm honestly surprised I'm able to remember each starter I've picked for each game.  My memory is crap, but of course I remember unimportant things!

Bulbasaur in Red. Pikachu in Gold I think (looked it up, must have been yellow)? Then I didn't play til X so then I got Fennekin.
Title: Re: What was your first pokemon starter?

Yellow: Pikachu (of course)
Silver: Cyndaquil
Ruby: Mudkip
FireRed: Charmander
Diamond: Piplup
SoulSilver: Cyndaquil
White: Snivy

If I had White 2, I'd probably pick Snivy again. In X or Y, I think I'd pick Fennekin/Squirtle. I usually go for the fire starters because they tend to be my favorites.

I played through Gold/Silver/Crystal enough that I got through each game at least once with one of the starters, but Cyndaquil was my very first and always my favorite!

Charmander was my first ever Pokemon! And in real life, too - the first Pokemon toy I ever had was a Charmander plush given to me by some stranger at an airshow (doesn't that just sound like something that would happen in a game though? Some stranger just gives you a Charmander). I'll always love the Charmander line c:

First starters of other regions...
Johto: Chikorita in Soulsilver
Hoenn: Mudkip in Ruby
Sinnoh: Chimchar in Diamond
Unova: Snivy in Black
Kalos: Chespin in X (also picked the Charmander in that game too!)

On Pokemon Blue I had Charmander and *loved* the little thing.
From then on, if I remember correctly...
Yellow was evidently Pikachu
Gold was Cyndaquil
Crystal was probably Totodile
and in Ruby I think it was Torchic. I've never been fond of the starters in that generation but it did have a lot of immensely awesome ghost pokemon.

bulbasaur
pickaghu
chicorita

umm...ummm....I cant remember!  I know I had the turtle tree one in pearl and a water type one once.

Gosh, what did I start out with in the latest one?  It may had been water...

Funny isn't it? I spent a huge chunk of my childhood playing Pokemon, but I can't even remember whether I got Blue or Red (I know I got one and my sister got the other, but who got which one? Not a clue)

I am fairly sure I got Charmander, though, possibly in Blue.

Bulbasur in blue
Pikachu in yellow
Bulbasur again in leaf green. (Still have him moving up through the generations currently in platinum I think)
Trekkol
Mudskipper
Cindaquil
Turtwig

And now fenikin

Once I did have murkrow because I traded my started in to another game.

My first game was Emerald, so I picked Torhic and Blaziken is one of my favourite Pokemon together with Zoroark, for the other games:

Gen 1: Bulbasaur
Gen 2: Totodile
Gen 3: Torchic
Gen 4: Piplup
Gen 5: Snivy
Gen 6: Fennekin
Title: Re: What was your first pokemon starter?

Although I've been obsessed with the franchise since I could comprehend what my Pikachu plushie was, I started playing the games later than most kids do, so my first game was LeafGreen. I chose Bulbasaur because I thought I had to (silly 7-year-old me)!

In Emerald I opted for Treecko, in Ruby started with Treecko as well, but I almost never played and restarted to pick a different one, Mudkip.

I had Colosseum, so Umbreon and Espeon were there.

In both Pearl and Platinum, I chose Piplup.

HeartGold was Cyndaquil.

In Black was Snivy, White Oshawott, and White 2 Tepig. That was the first generation that my sister didn't get a game, so I got both versions. When the sequels came out, I chose my least favorite of the starters because I wanted one of each.

In X, I went Fire-Fire. Fennekin and Charmander.

And more recently I've been playing Yellow on an emulator, so there's Pikachu in there, too.

Cyndaquil on Silver or Gold.

I started with a Charmander named Cindy in Blue. Then one day, my Game Boy crashed due to a battery low and because it was during a save, I lost her. I cried for several days about it.

Gold: Totodile
LeafGreen: I don't remember... Bulbasaur maybe?
Sapphire: I think Treeko
Black: Snivy

Mine was Squirtle.
I also had Torchic and piplup.

Gen 1: Charmander
Gen 2: Chikorita
Gen 3: Torchic
Gen 4: Piplup
Gen 5: Snivy (the only starter I ever ditched before the Elite 4, after it reached its final evolution)
Gen 6: Fennekin

Torchic in Emerald!! :D Then after that..

Pearl - Piplup
SoulSilver - Cyndaquil
White - Oshawott
X - Fennekin

Squirtle in Blue! I miss my little girl. I still remember the day I chose her and named her (but didn't find out the gender until G/S came out) <3

Then in Japanese Silver I got Totodile. In fact, whenever I start a new generation I always pick the water starter, since they always appeal to me most :)

My very first one? Torchic, from Sapphire.

Then:
-Squirtle from Fire Red
-Torchic again from Emerald
-Piplup from Diamond
-Chikorita from Soul Silver
-Next will be Oshawott for Black 2
-And Froakie for hypothetical Z
-And Torchic again for the new Sapphire!  :P

I always pick the Fire starter, so Charmander.
Title: Re: What was your first pokemon starter?
Post by: NoPonySpecial on October 06, 2014, 02:51:33 PM
My first Pokémon game was Blue. Mom had gotten us Red, but it became my brother's after Mom realized that Pokémon games aren't easily shared. :P Anyway, I probably would have chosen Bulbasaur, but my bro already chose him, so I picked a different one instead.

Blue: Squirtle! (Nowadays I prefer to take Charmander)
Silver: Chikorita (Nowadays I prefer to pick Cyndaquil, Quilava is one of my favorites!)
Sapphire: Treecko (Treecko is my man! I like playing with Mudkip and especially Torchic, but Treecko and its evolutions are my favorite pokémon of all time!)
Pearl: Chimchar (Haven't played this gen enough to know which is my favorite starter, I'm not really thrilled with any of them, TBH)
White: Oshawott
Y: Chespin (I don't think I'd pick him again, though.)

Cyndaquil
Then pikachu charmaner, torchic, chimpchar, the cute fire pig who's name escapes me, and finally fennikin. I'm sure I'm missing someone but yeah you get the gist I've been playing Pokemon for 14 years and by tradition start with a fire type

I chose charmander in the beginning because he was fire. I later fell in love with squirtle cause he's a turtle. Too bad he wasn't a fire turtle then I'd be set!

Here's my starters for each game I had:
Blue - Bulbasaur
Yellow - Pikachu (obviously, lol)
Silver - Chikorita
Ruby - Mudkip
Fire Red - Squritle
Diamond - Turttwig
Soul Silver - Cyndaquil
Black - Snivy
White 2 - Tepig
X - Froakie
I've still got them from Ruby onwards traded forward across the gens and on to my X.

If/when I get Alpha Sapphire I plan on using Treecko.

Gold was my first pokemon game, and I picked Cyndaquil, I will always have a warm spot in my heart for gold xD and Wish I could find one of the original games.

Since thing though my started type became steadily grass :)

I'll just tell ya about by recent games: Pokemon X, LeafGreen, and Alpha Sapphire.

Froakie(Betty Croaker), Charmander(Winston), Bulbasaur(Kiwi), and Treecko(Sweetberry)!

I also have a soft spot for Gold and Silver, and I'll forever love gen 2. Although the remakes of those games definitely take the spot as my favorites.  Cyndaquil was and will always be my favorite starter!

I'm the same though, I've enjoyed the grass type starters from gens 5 and 6, as well as water.  The fire type starters have been very "meh" as of late. At least they moved away from fire/fighting.

Post by: NoDivision on October 08, 2014, 07:50:52 AM
My first was definitely squirtle in blue. I remember choosing him because I knew I'd need a water type to easily beat Brock! I replayed and beat the game with all 3 starters of course :)

After that though, I've tended to pick fire types as my starters.

I'm gonna try....
Red - Bulbasaur (still my favorite Pokemon)
Gold - Chikorita
Pearl - Pipulp
White - Oshowatt
X - Fennekin

I think I got those right... I know these were all my first starters for each, and still think it's funny that it took until X/Y for me to pick a fire starter first.

Blue -Squirtle
Silver - Chikorita
Sapphire - Torchic
Leafgreen - Squirtle
Diamond - Piplup
Soulsilver - Totodile
Black - Oshawott
White 2 - Oshawott
X - Froaky

I'm sensing a rather wet pattern here... ;)

My very first starter was Piplup... I was never really interested in the actual pokemon games until a friend sent me her extra copy of Pokemon Pearl... needless to say I'm hooked now.  Had I started with the older games, I probably would have picked Bulbasaur... he's my favorite of the original three.

My first was my Yellow version Pikachu when I was like 8 or 9. I'm almost 25 now and have preordered the newest game so nearly 15 years hasn't dampened my Pokemon fandom at all.
Title: Re: What was your first pokemon starter?

Crystal - Cyndaquil (and maybe Chikorita)
Ruby/Sapphire - Torchic
Emerald - Torchic
LeafGreen/Fire Red - Charmander

Plenty of fire starters... But I like fire type pokemons. Ninetales, my ultimate favourite pokemon. Maybe I should try another starter... Just maybe.

I play Crystal and Sapphire are most often played Pokemon games. I'm using emulator because I don't have GBA. However, I did clear Crystal and Sapphire using GBA, borrowed from a friend. My next goal is to get DS from my friend and play SoulSilver and Platinum. And, yes I will use fire starters...

Pokemon Crystal - Totodile named Andy. Why Andy? You see, I was at this one electronics store once and they had a Gameboy with a plugged in Pokemon Crystal which you could test out. The party had a couple Pokemon, including a Totodile whom someone nicknamed Andy. I liked the name so when I finally got my own Gameboy plus a copy of Pokemon Crystal, I decided to name my Totodile Andy. :)
Pokemon Emerald - Torchic
Pokemon Platinum - Chimchar
Pokemon Black - Snivy
Pokemon X - Froakie named Smeagol (it was when I decided to name all my Pokemon after Tolkien characters)

Silver: Totodile
Gold: Cyndaquil
Crystal: Chikorita- Leafer
Red: Charmander
Yellow: Pikachu (duh LOL)
Ruby: Torchic
Sapphire: Mudkip
Emerald: Treeko
Pearl: Chimchar
Platinum: Piplup
FireRed: Charmander
Leafgreen: Bulbasaur
SoulSilver: Totodile
HeartGold: Cyndaquil
White: Oshawott
White2: Snivy

the last one i caught? o.o its been so long I have no idea xD I think maybe it was a Swirlix for my son, who iv handed my pokemon Y game over to lol. OH NO! it was a litleo! xD I caught and hatched a TON of them trying to get a boy (also for my son)

I havent played with the art academy, but it looks neat.

I have one maybe?
What was the first shiny you caught or hatched on your own? (not including trading or events :p)

For me, at least in X I hatched a Cherubi. and all I was doing was working on my national dex, so only ever had one egg from them  and it just happened to be a shiny. :p I gave it to my friend, since I dont really collect shinys.
I would say Gyarados from heart gold, but everyone gets him regardless xD.

Title: Do you know the title of this book? Pokémon related
Post by: NoPonySpecial on November 20, 2014, 12:21:47 PM
Some people (myself included) have had luck with forgotten book titles here. I've been struggling with this one for a while, it's a book I'd love to read again, but sadly only remember weird details about it and not anything useful.

What tidbits I know about the book:

-It's an unofficial Pokémon humor book.
-It was written during the height of the Pokémon craze in the late 90s, around 1998-2001 or so. I don't quite remember if Gen 2 was even out at the time.
-Chapter book, no pictures as far as I can remember. No idea of the reading level, but I would have been around the 4th grade when I read it, so it couldn't have been that hard, (but it still kind of felt like a "grown up" book as it lacked illustrations and was kind of like a Dave Barry book.)
-It went into basic details about the games, cartoon, card game and toys, informative, but leaning more towards humorous.
-Unfortunately, I think the title was pretty generic, like "Unofficial Pokémon [something something]"

Outside: Orange cover, title was in a blue or green text, yellow highlighting(?) Mine was paperback, about the size and shape of kids' chapter book or a harlequin romance.

Inside:

Introduction detailing how the author was in the middle of watching Pinky and the Brain when his publisher called and insisted he write his next book about Pokémon. (This makes me think he had previously written books about video games or at least something for the kids' demographic.)

A bit where he discussed how unfair it is to trade cards with younger children who are gullible, that one could probably trade them a Voltorb card signed by the real Voltorb in yellow crayon.

One of those "How to tell you are way too into Pokémon" lists, one of the items is "you traded your brother's sports car for a holographic Charizard card."

I know it might be a bit of a long shot, but does anyone here know anything about this book?? My Google searches have been fruitless. Not even the comprehensive list of Pokémon books on Bulbapedia included this book. If you read this, thanks for taking the time. :)

Title: PC: TOMY Pokemon figures? Pictures up!
Post by: Squirrelypaws on November 21, 2014, 07:10:06 PM
I've decided to sell off some of my childhood collection of Pokemon figures and I was hoping maybe you guys are more in-the-know about them than I am as far as prices.

Pictures:

Kanto Pokemon (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649009458800/)
Pikachu (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649356780706/)
Johto Pokemon (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649411002392/)
Hoenn Pokemon (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649004144257/)
Trainers (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649012084778/)

I also have some bigger "action figure" type Pokemon, made by (I think?) Hasbro:

Action Figures (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649356763386/)

And some figures that I suspect are knock-offs.

Knock-offs? (https://www.flickr.com/photos/gryffindorhermione/sets/72157649009774690/)

And though I haven't gotten pictures yet, I have some similarly-sized non-TOMY figures that (as far as I know) are officially licenced merch; I remember some coming with Pokemon PopTarts or cereal, and others were attached to keychains inside a PokeBall. Would there be enough interest in them to bother with pictures?

Hi there!!! I am a LONG-time Pokemon fan, and I absolutly LOVE the pokemon Audley TOMY takara pokemon figurines!!!! I might be able to help! ^ͺ^ If they are loose but in great condition, maybe $5 max each, MIB/MIC about $12max depending on the condition of card (no bends, missing print). The japanese MIC are worth a little less than that but are popular to collect. If you are planning to sell all 151+jhotos in a lot rather than individually maybe $100 for all of them. Im interested BTW but I dont get paid again until the 4th of December! :)

The transparent Gangar may be a little more rare. I have about 20 clear ones that I got back around 2000-2001. I tried looking for more recently but they don't seen to pop up as often as they did back then. Is he a see through purple color or is he clear as in no color at all?

Alot of the bootleg ones are pretty bad but there are figures that were also made by companies such as Bandai and Banpresto. I imagine they would be labeld as such somewhere on the figure.

Thanks, guys. ^_^  This helps so much,

I'm having some camera issues right now, so the picture process is a little slow. XD I got pictures of maybe 20 of the original ones last night; will get them uploaded ASAP.

Tikibirds: The Gengar is see-through purple. ^_^

If anyone's interested in them, please feel free to drop m a PM letting me know which Pokemon you're looking for!

I'll be keeping an eye out to see what you have.  ^^ I'd be happy to help you price check as well, but I don't know much about it.  I usually get them for between 5-10 depending on what it is and how quickly I need it.

I don't think the Gengar came in a special package. I have that one somewhere, and I believe it came in one of the widely available double or triple packs (I can't for the life of me recall which). Because it looks cool it might fetch a higher price, though :)

What might affect prices is this: The figures were not particularly widely available after Johto began. I've never seen Johto (with the exception of Togepi, Marill, etc, that debuted before Gold & Silver) TOMY figures available in the UK. It seems that since Johto/Hoenn most of the Pokemon merch here is now made by Bandai and Banpresto. I also remember that back when NY had a Pokemon Centre, individual Pokemon figures were available to buy, whereas here if it didn't come in a pre-packaged set then you couldn't get it.

So, near as I can tell - there are 3 "old school" versions of Gengar. A painted purple one, a transparent purple one and a whiteish transparent one. The painted one and the purple transparent one are made by TOMY. The clear one is made by BANDAI. I have had both transparent ones since about 2000. As for current price, I have NO idea.

One on left says BANDAI, one on right says TOMY.

Thanks for the comparison pics, Tikibirds. ^_^ Mine's definitely the TOMY one. I got him at a yard sale years ago and he's the only clear one I've ever seen, so I wasn't sure if he was something unique or not.

I LOVE your clear surfing Pikachu, BTW!

I know someone on livejournal who was dying for that clear Gengar/Gangar.

Ummm more expensive tomys are Golbat, ponyta, persian, rapidash, venmoth, mr mine, jynx.... but it depends on condition, of course. And if they are marked Auldey that makes a difference too.

Happy day friends!

I bought a large lot of Pokemon toys from ebay a couple months back for my littles to play with, and they never really touched them.  I have a TON!  I bagged 'em all up and was about to take them to the thrift store, but wanted to check here to see if anyone is on the hunt for some.  They're the Jakks battle figures, I probably have over 40 different pokemon and their battle ground pieces (though I'm sure I'm missing some).

Also, does anyone have a rough price check?  I will work on getting everything out and photographed later if there's interest.  :)

Thanks!!!
Cloudie

he appears to be rather popular. Those transparent ones are the only ones I have that say Bandai.  I know banpresto and bandai are connected but tomy is not part of their company, not sure what the deal is with that.

And I have no clue as to what anything is worth. I have a bunch of plushies too.

Title: Opinion on newer Pokemon games please
Post by: cyberunicorn on February 15, 2015, 12:52:09 AM
Right it is payday on Friday and I am finally going to be able to buy the new Pokemon game. Ok I know that it is not so new now but money is tight over Christmas so not is the first time I could afford it.

But before I do I have to ask is it worth buying. I played the original emerald but not ruby or sapphire.

I know that a lot of people play one here so would value an honest opinion from you.
Title: Re: Opinion on newer Pokemon games please
Post by: TwistedRiver on February 15, 2015, 01:49:30 AM
I just started Alpha Sapphire yesterday, wasn't able to get a copy sooner either but mum picked A.S. and O.R. as early bday gifts for Hannah and I. I'd played Emerald a while back and enjoyed it, so far this one doesn't seem a lot different but still fun. :)
I've barely played though and haven't even made it as far as the first gym, but I'm sure I'll have the game devoured before long, I always seem to rush through the Pokemon games even though I plan to take my time. xD
Title: Re: Opinion on newer Pokemon games please
Post by: CupidStrikes on February 15, 2015, 05:02:42 AM
I love 'em  I played the original Ruby and Sapphire to death (literally, the in-game clocks both died on me.), and I think the remakes do them justice. I've not finished Alpha Sapphire (so many games, so little time), but so far it's been very enjoyable, and the DexNav thingy is really cool - it lets you find Pokemon in the wild with high EVs, hidden abilities, and/or egg moves. WonderTrade is still present and is fun. My only complaint is that the new "sneaking" ability (to catch Pokemon with the DexNav) is a bit difficult to control. Oh, and I'm sad they removed the customisation aspect of X&Y, and that your Pokemon can't walk behind you like in HG/SS. They're not straight remakes, either, as they have other new things, too - Mauville City has an entirely new look, for example.

As a great fan of the third generation (played original Sapphire and Emerald), I'd totally recommend it. It still keeps that retro flavour with all the improvements on the new Pokemon games
Title: Re: Opinion on newer Pokemon games please
Post by: Kitkumi on February 15, 2015, 06:13:26 AM
I played the original Sapphire, and then picked up Alpha Sapphire when it came out. Though a lot of aspects are the same, enough is different enough that it feels like an entirely new game to me. Not to mention the graphics are beautiful :D When I first heard about the games I was hyped, but wary of just getting a re-make that brought nothing new to the table, but so far that hasn't been the case at all.

So after seeing so many cute pictures of the new Pokemon card I decided to pick up a few packs and get back into them after a almost 14 year break. (I bought 8 packs send help) but while at target I noticed they have pokemon center plushies of the honen starters, mega lucario and mega blastoise. Now these aren't the poke dolls like seen at walmarts. I did get a torchic as I had one when the region first came out that I carried EVERYWHERE was stolen.

I got a few comments asking me why I don't have Pikachu, which I thought was funny.  I've never been a Pikachu fan, which I guess is like blasphemous of a Pokemon fan to say. :silly: As for Raichu and Pichu?  I like them!

My partner and I have the Mega Blastoise and Mega Lucario plushies. ^^ They're very nice quality, which is probably why they're 25 bucks. XD We also picked up a Chespin plush which I think was made by Tomy? I don't remember offhand. :x

I also finally beat the Pokemon LEague in X last night! :D Kept getting distracted by other games. This is actually the first time I've beaten the Elite Four and Champion in a Pokemon game. I've always gotten stuck on the Four themselves or the Champion (or burned out halfway through the games).

So am I the only one who just found out theyre still making sticker books for pokemon?? I swear there's been a huge lack of stickers in the latest gens unless you buy them online... I miss the ones I got when r/b/y was out.
Anyways, went into michaels today and they had a really thick pokemon sticker book with TONS of really nice stickers from every generation.. plus mega evos and some misc stickers like berries and poke balls...
I'm gonna go back tomorrow and get it I think, I didn't get it today because I was a little put off by the price ($12) but... I've convinced myself its worth it lol...

In case anyone hasn't seen it I finished this costume and sold it a while ago,

That Mega Charizard X costume is epic! You did a great job with it, Dainty! :D

I entered both categories (Favorite Pokemon and Dress-Up Pikachu) for the Pokemon Art Academy contest. For Favorite Pokemon, I drew Mewtwo wielding a giant spoon like it did in the Pokemon Adventures manga. For Dress-Up Pikachu, I drew Pikachu cosplaying as a Seel. Go to Miiverse, find the Pokemon Art Academy community, click Related in the left upper corner to take you to where entries for both categories can be seen. Mewtwo is on the third page under Favorite Pokemon and has my Beachball name attached. Pikachu cosplaying as Seel is on the third page under Dress-Up Pikachu with my Beachball name. :D

I need to steal that oddish. So adorably cute :)

I used to have a bunch of plushies and stuff but I downsized all my collections and only kept with my ponies and Jems. Now I only have plushes of the pokemon I like best - I have a large Wobbuffet and a small one, a small Gardevoir, a Ralts, a Kirlia, a Gallade and a Vileplume. Title: Pokemon Toy Peeps - I Need Your Expertise!
Post by: LittleSpiffy on April 02, 2015, 05:31:52 PM
Back in the day ('99/'00), I bought one of these figures: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Hasbro_electronic_figures

I couldn't resist Bulbasaur, who was on clearance at a comic shop for $1.  We had many fond moments together, until I got bored with it after a couple days.  Came in that exact packaging.  Never thought twice on who produced the toy.

Found a Mew figure not long after via the second-hand market.  Again, never thought twice on who made the toy.

Bulby & Mew found a new home sometime before '05 (either through here, the TP, or eBay - don't remember).

So...yesterday I found Mew, Evee, and Psyduck at the thrift store.  Tried to ID them (they're just called electronic figures).  The wiki says Hasbro made them, but they are clearly marked 1998 Tomy!

Googled "Electronic Pokemon Figure Tomy" and found the exact figures, but in clear bubble-like boxes instead of the red US packaging.

What's the deal?

Did Hasbro buy a bunch of Tomy toys and sell them on the US market without adding their brand stamp?

I'm so confused!

I have a Lapras one that says TOMY but all my others say Hasbro. The hasbro ones I got in stores here (around 2000) and the Lapras one was off ebay so maybe it was from Japan, originally?

is Tomy  still a thing?
i thought  that  Hasbro brought them out,... or it was like a sister company  or a branch or something along thos lines .

also WHOLY  HORSE HAIR there was a Lugia!?!

Post by: Princess Lala on April 02, 2015, 09:27:02 PM
I HAVE THE LUGIA!!!! :cheer: check my collection page in the Pokemon Swap thread, first page!!!!

Also, while they are the TOMY brand, Hasbro distributed a lot of the pikemon toys here in the US (the awesome toys with the blue and red line designs with pikachu jumping out!) especially the Takara TOMY Monster Collection toys. The electronic pokemons in their red boxes have the Hasbro logo on it but i think there was black text that said TOMY on it somewhere...

I used to have the electronic Psyduck and Togepi!!!

OMG Spiffy you got EEeeVVEE!?? If you ever wanna sell it please come to mee! Ive been looking for that one, even if it doesnt work!

they are my 3rd favorate type after dragon and fire (I love pretty much all the grass starters except the chesnaut family)
Title: Re: Pokemon General Thread

Haha that picture Xd. My friend stopped mocking grassies after my Roserade dismantled his team without taking much damage ; ). I actually don't like grass starters as much as some of the others. Oddish/Gloom/Vileplume will always be my favourite, but there are tons of others, like Roserade, that I also like. They need more love xD.

For some reason I always start with a fire type, which, considering I lije grass types, is a bit twisted somehow XD

is Tomy  still a thing?
Tomy bought out Takara in the mid 00's.

Takara and Tomy announced their merger on May 13, 2005, to become effective March 1, 2006. In English, the legal name of the merged company is "TOMY Co. Ltd." while in Japanese the legal company name is the combined name, K.K. Takara-Tomy (株式会社タカラトミー ).TYO: 7867. The decision to use the "Tomy" name in English, while the Takara-Tomy name in Japanese, was made for pragmatic reasons. Tomy had built considerable brand recognition internationally, particularly in the area of infant and preschool products, where brand trust is very important. On the other hand, most of Takara's international hit products (Microman, Transformers, Battle Beasts, Beyblade, B-Daman, et al.) have been sold and branded by other companies, most notably Hasbro. Therefore, going through the costly process of registering and/or changing the company name in all the countries where Tomy does business would have been expensive and unproductive. Thus, with the merged company's international subsidiaries continuing to use the Tomy name, it seemed appropriate to keep a domestic English name which matched that of the international subsidiaries.

Both Takara and pre-merger Tomy have had strong relationships with Hasbro, which has distributed Takara's hit products such as Transformers, Beyblade, e-Kara and Battle B-Daman and Tomy's Zoids brands internationally. Although the merged company has stated that the Transformers business with Hasbro and the OEM business in general was not as profitable as they would be if they were directly distributed, the relationship with Hasbro is low-risk in the case of Transformers, since Hasbro assumes the inventory risk internationally.

This long-term relationship will certainly continue, as both Takara and Tomy have long held the licenses to "localize" and distribute many Hasbro products in Japan, including The Game of Life, Blythe dolls, and Magic: The Gathering and Duel Masters trading card games by Takara and Monopoly, Furby, Super Soaker and Play-Doh by Tomy. Hasbro has also previously distributed Tomy's Pokémon toys in the US, although it eventually started selling its own versions. Takara and Tomy formerly held the license to distribute the My Little Pony products in Japan until Bushiroad acquired the license to distribute them starting with the toyline's fourth generation.
or so says wikipedia

On a side note - Bandai, Banpresto and Namco are all part of the same company - Bandai holdings.

hi everyone in this thread!

i think i've only posted in here once or so, so i should probably update everything :P

since i posted (i believe) i have bought... a 3ds, alpha sapphire, y, black, ranger, a whole ton of tomy XY figures (iirc it is: two pikachus, lapras, riolu, chespin, gengar, spritzee, houndoom, glaceon, xerneas, and dedenne, there's more but i lost them, they're too tiny!), and a pokemon center 2014 latios plush!
honestly i only posted 'cause the latios plush... i love him so much, he's so soft and AAAAA!!! he's also really big... the reviews said he was only slightly bigger than your average tv remote and i'm like... what kinda tv remote you using??!! he's almost as long as my desk but my desk isn't that long anyway

i also got the event darkrai when i picked up ranger and the shiny charizard when i picked up black 'cause i picked up black only today! i've only played white/white 2 on emulator so i'm happy to own it since b/w are my second favourites! (also, how appropriate since shiny charizard is black haha)

OMG!!!!! They made a LAPRAS!!!!! How did I not know that? Lapras is my favorite Pokemon EVER!

I was collecting these back in the day. I thought I had them all. Now I find out that I don't. I have Charmander, Pikachu, Meowth, Squirtle, Psyduck, Togepi, Eevee, Mew, Marill, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Chansey, Clefairy and Jigglypuff.

I can also confirm that the early releases are identical to the Japanese versions. I have seen the Japanese versions of Pikachu and Squirtle in person. Not to mention the US release of Squirtle speaks Japanese.

Anybody know where I can get a Lapras?

Although I think I already have a Shiny Charizard in my Y game somewhere...O.o. She's dark, right? With red inside her wings??

The last offer I did was Darkrai...I don't always do them, but that time I had to get a code for a friend as well.

Squirtle still works, but his battery is so weak that you can barely hear him. Clefairy and Chansey are the only two that their batteries leaked. Clefairy cleaned up and works fine. Chansey didn't make it.  -_- Pikachu II (back row), Charmander, Marill, Eevee, Psyduck and Togepi still work. All the others need new batteries. Guess I get to go battery shopping this weekend.

I made a short video of them interacting. I had to cut it short at the end because my cat went into attack mode. Gotta KILL 'em all!

I'm moving right now, so all of my stuff is either in boxes or sitting around waiting to be packed. I have pictures of the process and before everything got moved on my Instagram, though. Oh wow, I got two Enteis from Wonder Trade, and one is a shiny! So far I have gotten around 20 shinies from Wonder Trade

I love getting shinies from WT. Aside from a few random encounters (Weepinbell, Pachirisu) I can currently only catch water ones successfully on my own, so it's awesome that they sometimes pop up on WT. I have had 2 Arceus in the past, but I traded one to a friend who is much better at catching shinies for me and caught me a Ponyta so I could have an in game Majesty :D

I havnt gotten a shiny from WT, but I HAVE gotten a shiny tentacool, shiny pachy, and shiny spinarak from GTS! =D

So I updated my pokemon collection, I have a new shelf built for it! It has our loose figures and plush on it! ^-^

I got a cute Shaymin plush in the mail and I'm starting Pokemon Black 2 because it's the only one I haven't played yet of the main series.

P. excited. Even though the GTS is gone for it.

My latest Pokemon purchase (not counting the diamonds in Rumble World) was the Goomy/Sliggoo/Goodra gashapon figures from Japan.  They're so cute!

Is anyone else playing Rumble World?  If so, what's your rank?  I'm at 55 now and I bought the last balloon I needed a few days ago.  I'm obsessed with this game, omg.

Have you guys heard about there being a new line of Eevee-related items being released at Pokemon Centers in the future? I cant wait to see what all the products will be!  (I demand a line-size Sylveon hair bow and ribbon so i can wear it haha!)

 *spits out sweet tea* what?! - There are gashapons of. Goomy/Sligoo/Goodra?! How am I just now finding out about this? I might have a Goodra one!

I have been addicted to it as well! I am only on level 14 IIRC, and a little frustrated that I can't "catch" most of the bosses at this point (I don't want 50 coins - just lemme keep Milotic and Delphox!!! )
(Haha, I actually have you set as the "King" in my game. xD)

I hope they announce a new game soon. I haven't updated my 3DS(and don't want to) and can't get the free games....not to mention they don't look interesting at all. Fingers crossed.

Since that seems a little random....what are these figuarts everyone's talking about? I'm a bit out of the loop.

Haha, i am slowly trying to get some of my childhood favorite Pokemon figures as well! It is a pain some of the Kanto/Gen 1 figures are pricey - I had to pay $11 to get Vulpix and i have seen a Nidoqueen go for $40+. D:

@ Ponykit: In general, Figuarts are a line of figures that are very poseable and have swappable parts (faces/hands/ect.). The Pokemon line is the same for the most part.  You can pose them into doing trademark poses or attacks. They are pretty neat in person. IIRC, the only Pokemon figuarts right now are Mewtwo, Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Lucario, and MegaBlaziken.

Pretty much this.  Plus there isn't really a Figuarts figure for a Pokemon I like enough to drop that much money on.

@MilkyTaroMochi:  So my fiance was playing Rumble World last night and he goes "Hey, there's this girl that looks pretty much like you... but with glasses.  Slightly different hair, though.  Do you know her?"  He forgot that you two had added each other forever ago for some Pokemon trading stuff.  So yeah, it's you.  Congrats, you're just me with glasses. :lmao:

Hi guys  Dunno why I stopped posting in pokemon threads. I lost my X game somewhere so I stopped playing it... But I downloaded rumble world a couple days ago and have been playing it when I need a break on working on costumes for a con next weekend. I'm level 36 :) I dont usually spend money on in game purchases but I found out I had like $4 sitting in my account from when I bought some games a year ago so... I bought some poke diamonds  I told myself I wouldn't buy any more but I might, theyre a decent deal compared to  some phone games.

I recently caught a palkia with spacial rend so yay :) Thats made it easier to catch bosses but im still getting the hang of the wobble technique, I need to find a pokemon with focus energy.. You have to catch a pokemon with that move before you can teach it to others, right?? And I just bought a special traits tree, dont wanna buy any more as I'm saving up for origin balloon and trying not to spend real money for it

Long post  Anyways, here are some photos I just took of my favorite plushies. Nidoran is one of my favorite pokemon and I'm sooo happy they finally made legit plushes of them! Sorry its so washed out, My house has awful lighting. Had to prop them up with styrofoam chunks as my windowsill is really slanted

If you didn't know already, then Gutsy is the trait you're looking for if you want to have a better chance at getting Pokemon to wobble. :) I have a Gutsy++ Greninja and an Epic Trubbish (one of its traits is Gutsy) and they've been sooooo helpful!

I have no idea how that works, as far as having to catch something with a move before teaching it.  I'm assuming you already have the move tutor place, right?

Rumble World is literally the only thing I've been playing for a while now. I started up Shuffle last night by accident (because every game icon has to have Pikachu has the mascot, amirite?) and was like “THIS isn't Rumble World! Ugh!"

Wow.  I decided to give Regirock a shot in Shuffle.  So I tried using Mega Lucario, Kyogre and two others (can't remember which ones d'oh!) and Regirock is ridiculous!  I even used some coins on the Mega Start thing, got extra moves and did the Disruption Delay... didn't work!  I'm not spending any money on this game since I don't play it nearly as much as Rumble World, but God this is frustrating!

I'm using Kyogre, Groudon, and I've tried with both Mega Lucario and Mega Mawile, switching them in the roster..... I've paid for more moves, I've leveled up the pokemon to like, level 7 at the least for them ALL, and I STILL CAN'T DO IT!   Seriously, what the hell? Did someone drop like, fifty X Defends on it before the battle, I can't believe how hard it is! And of COURSE, it's a limited time battle......

Restarted my Pokémon X game yesterday with the following self-imposed ruleset:
**Mandatory**
*Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released or put in the Pokémon Storage System permanently.
*The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances. If the first encounter in the area is a Double Battle in dark grass, the player may choose which of the two Pokémon they would like to catch.
**Optional**
*The player may not use a Pokémon that originated from outside the play-through for anything other than breeding purposes.
*The player may not import Pokémon from other games that have not been caught or are no longer possessed as "living" in the play-through.
*The player may not trade Pokémon to another game to teach them TM/HM moves they could not learn in the play-through.
*A full party wipe (all party Pokémon fainting) is Game Over.
*MERCY RULE: an encountered shiny Pokémon may be caught and used normally, and it doesn't have to be released upon fainting, but instead placed in the PC Box.

Also, I am writing this up as a short story of journal entries by my character. As of the time of this post, I've already lost my Froakie/Frogadier and Squirtle/Wartortle. I caught a male Eevee, and imported a female to breed others from, 'cos, yanno,

*Edit* added the Mercy Rule. I haven't run across any shiny 'mons yet, but it'd be a terrible waste of a shiny.

I've had two die so far, both of them my starters. Was definitely not good times at those moments. I've gotten pretty lucky with my captures, though, what with having a Pikachu (named him Hulkachu, since Tiella just did that custom Amiibo, might have influenced it just a bit ;3 ) and having caught an Eevee and an Espurr. I have caught some darned useless ones, like that Burmy. I was surprised when I caught the Snorlax, 'cos I was sure he'd kill something on my team. I'd be willing to post my little story here in this thread when it's finished, if people be interested. :D

I'd like to read it! Best of luck in the challenge.

Nuzlockes are the only way I can play a Pokemon game anymore; it really does make you feel more attached to your Pokemon, plus it makes you love Pokemon you'd never thing twice about. Beedrill, Magneton, Pignite, Scrafty, and so many more are Pokemon I just ignored their existence until using them in a Nuzlocke, now they are some of my favourites!

Scrafty practically solo'd all of Getsis for me (going into that battle it was just her and a Durant...the Durant died almost immedietly after sending him out). She tanked everything his Hydreigon threw at her and cleaned out the rest of his Pokemon easy thanks to moxie. I went into that battle KNOWING I would lose and she just proved me so wrong.

I've been massively neglecting Shuffle in favor of Rumble World. Between the two, definitely like Rumble over Shuffle. It's a much better structure for freemium in my opinion. Shuffle could be improved.

I've also lost my Alpha Sapphire game. I just moved about a month ago so I'm hoping it turns up somewhere in my game collection. Cross fingers for me! I don't want to lose my legit shiny Sylveon!

^ im actually the exact opposite! I kinda gave up on Rumble because no matter how many tries, I can never seem to make the boss pokemon wobbly! Ive only gotten them if they are sparkily. Those are really the ones im missing from the ballons I have. I also dont like spending real monies on jewels to get the balloons! You have to play hardcore to get the balloons without buying anything! >~> I really really do love Rumble World but I still have expert level pokemon to catch on Shuffle! Ive been having fun with those! I also check-in every day.

This is pretty much me.  I have 567 different Pokemon in Rumble World right now, so I'm relatively close to being done!  I'm in too far to give up now! Shuffle lost its appeal for me several weeks ago, especially with only having 5 hearts at a time and the gems in that game costing way too much in comparison to the diamonds in Rumble World.

I am basically forcing myself to play Shuffle at this point. It frustrates me at how many levels there are where you basically have to spend coins/cash to beat it (or get stupid lucky with combo chains).

I like Rumble World more, but that game is frustrating me too! xD i just wanna catch some good high level Pokemon, is that too hard to ask?

WOAH! Holy moly, how'd you get them all at just that level? I'm like, 65, and I've got Kyogre, Groudon, Latios, Latias and Genesect..... adn I think that's it? OH no wait, I've got Ho-Oh. But none of them are my strongest anymore. And my new catch rate is getting pitifully slow, even with a really high level of Wobbly Tree. I'm lucky to get like, one every few days, even every week. It breaks my heart when I see a pokemon I haven't caught yet, and no matter what I do, it WON'T DROP!!!

I'm rank 66 now and as for legendaries, I have Lugia, Kyogre, Arceus, Suicune, Celebi, Rayquaza, Regigigas, Regirock, Registeel, Latios, Latias and... I think that's it. Having the hardest time getting Ho-Oh to drop, ugh!

Im level 40 and I have latias, kyogre, groudon, heatran, hooh, and lugia. As long as you have the gems for the balloons you can get them! You just have to be lucky enough to get the super fever and land on the pokemon (i use the X then select for 2 gems). I only got those pokemons because I kept going back to the level by talking to my visitors and paying them coins or gems, then from there I would do it until I got the boss legendary. It took me a lot of tries though, i only got them when they were sparkily.

Anyone here in the Los Angeles area? Because we got something awesome coming our way! Quoted from Serebii.

Quote
A special Pokémon Boutique is set to open in Los Angeles next month. This boutique will be placed within the Japan LA Pop Culture shop at 7320 1/2 Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles from June 6th to July 5th and features a variety of exclusive Pokémon related clothing and merchandise. No details on the specifics of the merchandise have been revealed

There's a launch party on June 6th from 6-10 PM. I'm gonna be there to meet up with the Streetpass LA and Pokemon LA groups and was wondering if any MLPA folks are willing to come Pokemon geek out.

If you don't like paying for Pokemon shuffle, I recommend Pokemon trozei! It's a fun game with the same mechanics. And if you buy the first one you can usually buy it for really cheap. I got mine used at GameStop for 10 dollars

I've never played the first one, but I have Pokemon Battle Trozei on the 3DS and LOVED it!  I got distracted by other games, but I think I'm just a few Pokemon shy of completing that game.

GAAAH, why is mega-Glalie so hard to S-rank?! That ultimate ***** pokemon!!! I've NEVER LIKED GLALIE!!! NEVER! I need that S-rank, I'm trying get them so I'll finally get the Mewtwo extra level....... At this rate, I'm going lose my mind!

I've been having a lot of fun with shuffle and rumble world. I can't beat mega mewtwo but thats fine, right now I'm trying to S-rank and capture as many pokemon as I can. Rumble world is a little stressful because of the roulette mechanic and I haven't caught any legendaries yet but that's okay! I love spin-off games, I don't have as much patience for the regular one anymore.

Can anyone give me an opinion on Pokemon Conquest? I've been wanting to get it lately.

If you like RTS fighting games, you'd like Conquest. The system is one the style where you move a certain amount of squares to reach an enemy, then engage in a small fight if I recall correctly. I watched a bit of a Let's Play to see what it was like before buying it. I don't much enjoy that kind of game, so I decided against it.

Do you have the timer stop? You get it after beating one of the king's requests, blanking on which one. It slows the stage select so you can pick which one you want but it costs you Pokediamonds.

So yesterday I finally completed my first balloon! xD Its thw beginner water one but I have had no luck with Empoleon betting wobbly pr sparkily! Until today! ^-^

Also in rumble, is it rare to find dratini and dragonair!? I finally ran into them the other day and got both! Also I cannot for the love of it collect a chatot! I really wish that We could trade pokemons in rumble world!

For those of you playing Rumble World, what's your rank and how many Pokemon do you have?  I'm at 69 with 612 617 caught!  I've finished 6 balloons.  I'm sooooo close to finishing a 7th, but I can't get Entei to drop!

Dratini and Dragonair aren't rare.  I've run into them lots of times.  It's usually the final stage of a Pokemon that's the rare one.  A lot of the time, single-stage Pokemon are hard to find, too.

It took me foreeeever to get Chatot.  Actually, it's taken me a while to get a lot of the generic bird Pokemon, which is frustrating because I don't even like 99% of them.  I just want to catch them and get it over with.

I didn't play Conquest because I don't tend to like those types of games, but my fiance loved it.  He's been holding out hope for a sequel game.

I do! But I just don't use it so
I can save up pokediamonds and buy new levels because I'm a cheapskate and don't want to pay nintendo to get more :P

Yeah I'm kinda on edge about conquest because of that, it's not a style I dislike but it's one I'm not used to. I just like that it's so different from usual.

In Rumble World I'm level 22! I don't have any balloons fully completed yet but I'm close. I also don't have a ton unlocked but oh well. It's really fun

I went to the grand opening party for the Pokemon Boutique in LA. While overhyped and a little underwhelming, one man made it worth the trip.

Junichi Masuda, the director of Gamefreak, the programmer of the Masuda Method, and the director of music of Pokemon, was there.

I used my Japanese skills for good and managed to get him to sign my 3DS! Now to find something to make sure that signature stays safe.

Yep, that was it. The only things exclusive to the store are on this blog post (http://www.japanla.com/blogs/news/30662209-pokemon-boutique-japanla-9-year-anniversary-party). The rest were WLF/Hot Topic merch with a few Toys R Us plushies of the X and Y starters for taste. If you bought 30 bucks worth of merch (one had to be Pokemon related) you got an exclusive opening day tote bag.

I got there an hour early so I was in about 10 minutes after opening. By the time I left at about 10 PM there was still a line a block long. They were giving away free green tea pocky the entire time so I ended up with about six boxes of 'em.

I picked up a Xerneas/Yveltal wallet (they sold out of the Eeveelution wallet so I went with best legendary Xerneas instead,) WLF's Pokemon cardigan, and the store exclusive Mega Absol sweatshirt.

i was looking for some  things   the other night and   in my  rummaging  around I  found  my old pokemon TCG/CCG  pins!

unfortunatly tho  the drawers that they had been kept in  had mice  in it at some point so the felt   pouch that i had originally made to display them  smells very strongly of pee.

the pins them selves don't seam to be damaged to , but I do suspect that some of them are discolored.
these are  quite old now tho.

did any one else   play   POP ?    do you have any pins  or even  trophys ?
feel free to share!

despite   participating in  cities and states  a number of times I never placed  high enough to  get a trophy.
tho  I didn't attend enough regular events to  gain enough points to place.  i used to only go to the release events.   since moving a number of years tho I stopped playing as there were no stores   in my area who were POP registered.     oh well , it was  fun whilst it lasted.

Question for you Pokemon fans:  I had an idea for a game.  What do you think?

According to the Pokemon website, there are currently 720 Pokemon.  I think that the makers should create enough for there to be 1000 Pokemon and when they do, they need to release a new game that starts you out in Pallet Town with a Pikachu that can follow you around like in Yellow and then you play through ALL the games and gives you the opportunity to actually capture EVERY Pokemon, even the ones that you could previously only get through special gifts (like Celebi) or as starters.  Also, Level 100 would not be the strongest your Pokemon could get.  They would be able to go up to Level 250 (possibly higher, maybe 500?).  In order to advance to the next area of the game, you have to beat the Pokemon League but each time you battle them, their Pokemon get stronger as well, depending on how many badges you've earned.  You'd have to earn all of the badges in an area in order to battle the Pokemon League and be able to open up the next area but you could battle them as much as you want once you get there the first time.  So when you pass the Kanto area and beat the Pokemon League, then Johto opens up and your Pokedex is upgraded to include those Pokemon.  It continues through Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos and whatever new area they create to accommodate the new set of Pokemon.  As you play, it starts out with single battles and once you hit Hoenn, you can do double battles and Unova opens up triple battles.  Basically, it would be like playing ALL the games in one epic game.  They could call it Pokemon Prism.

I don't know if others have thought this up (they probably have) but I didn't have a chance to read through every single post on this thread to find out, so if it's redundant, I'm sorry.  I've just been thinking about it lately and I think they should do something similar to this because when I play the older games I want to keep using those Pokemon on the new games but in order to do that I have to trade them which makes the trainer/Pokemon ID numbers different.  Maybe I'm just a purist but I don't always like to use traded Pokemon.  I know they level up faster, but I often wonder how that affects their strength and defense stats.

They're the harder ones to run into. I had to get them and Sylveon from that special area.... It was this Origins place. Tower of Origins, at least three stars if I recall??? Oh yeah, I got Mew from there too. It was the BEST.

Just bought a total of 155 kids figures of ebay (spread into 3 lots) for about $80. There are a lot I still needed but I will sell my duplicates. Most of them are G1-3. I'm trying to complete at least the Hoenn line since that one means a lot to me. I also noticed I get Horsey and Seadra :D Still need Kingdra though...

Here are all my current Kids figures

That area is awesome!  Congrats!

I'm at 698 Pokemon, only 3 balloons left to complete.  It sucks having to wait over 7 hours in order to play them all but... eh.  My diamonds are just being spent using the time stopper thing so I can at least make sure I land where I need to. I'm kinda hoping I'll be done with this game soon.

I got all 719 Pokemon available in Rumble World, including the different Vivillon, Furfrou, etc., male and female versions of each Pokemon that have them! :yippee: I'm only missing some forms of certain Pokemon, so I may go back to try and get them.

I went back to playing Shuffle and realized I don't like it as much.  So I don't know if I'll continue with it or what.

Also, I suppose this is the perfect thread to show off my living room:

We just moved into our new house and I decided the living room would be Pokemon themed since we regularly host video game nights here with our friends, plus my fiance and I share a strong love for Pokemon. :P Our friends have seen and love the set up (which isn't completely done) but I can only imagine how some of our family members will react whenever we have our house warming party in a few weeks (not to mention my pony room should be done by then, too).

Is this the right place to ask for trades? I'm looking for a nicknamed Mawile (gender and level don't matter) to add to my team. On Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

The safari thing in shuffle makes me so aggitated as well! xS arrrg! Its too hard! I just got up to rank 66 in Rumble World, ive also been collecting variants of all the pokemon as well!!! I had an unown collecting rush earlier, omg I am missing some and its driving me nuts! xD I LOVE this new lucky balloon. I have gone up sooooo many ranks because of that!

Are you looking to have one simply captured, or do you want it bred? While I don't have access to the hidden ability, I can probably set up something with desired egg moves.

I found Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness on a fleamarket today and could not resist buying it. Was only 5€ so I thought why not, lol. Will try it out later this evening I guess. I also found a brand new mini-keychain Eevee <3 soooo cute, I love it! My daughter bought miniatures of Ho-Oh and Dialga, I wish we had bought more of them, the seller had a whole showbox full of them <3

Is there any interest in empty Burger King PokeBalls from the first movie? I have WAY too many. XD

Most of mine have been "customized", by means of removing the little hook on the side and coloring in the center band with black Sharpie. I do have a few that are still intact and uncolored, though.
