Hey there arena! I will soon be moving overseas and as a college student my choice at the moment to afford all the paperwork is to clear out the large majority of my collections, or at least what remains of them.
My nirvanas and 2 breyers will stay, but the rest will be put up for auction a few at a time and set to 3 days.
There will be original MH dolls, older Breyers in traditional and classic size, and random MLP lots up for sale.
New stuff every day, so please check back.

>>>>Click here for my auctions on eBay! <<<<

Starting to add some Nirvanas for sale via the forums first, then potentially later on eBay.

I'm just curious before I decide to put this girl up for auction...
She has been a part of my herd for a couple of years now. I had always assumed someone customized her and never payed much attention until I popped her head off earlier this year to see the hair inside her head was the same colour and her tail still had the original clamp, no washer.

There's nothing too different about her, but she has no diaper and her hair that should be white is instead pink. It resembles the colour of the mane of a very pink Up Up and Away, at least that's the closest match I own.
The "Surprise" yellow forelock has bled onto her head in a straight line (from storage :( ), and it has also bled a little bit onto the base of her pink mane.
The mane has not bled onto the body, but the tail shows a little pink around the tail hole.

I posted photos here and can take more if requested, of course.

If I were to try auctioning her off here on the Arena, do you all think there would be enough interest?
Is she something people may want in their herd?
She's very special to me so I would probably set a reserve in mind.  :lookround:

You can just vote in the poll if you don't want to post..

Pony Brag Arena / An army of Tulip Butts! [Updated Dec 3rd]

Edit Dec.3: A little delayed, but here are my new ladies. Cloud Puff has no regrind on her, and Argentina Posey adult is a factory rehair!

Edit Nov.23:
Better photos of my two new pretties, cross-posted from the Nirvana Forum..thought it would belong here...maybe...um.  :lookround:

Note: my apologies about photo quality. I can only use an iPad with crummy lighting right now. :(

Not too long ago I purchased four lovely Posey ladies from pandabear_chan. Nothing too special, just two Italians (one light purple flower variant) and two HK. They arrived SOOO fast and showed up needing a little tlc. I cleaned them up and they look amazing! She kept them nice and clean so they didn't need too much.

Then arrived the two Venezuelan ladies from SFlame! She knew I had been searching for variants to buy and offered me a very lovely green gal and a stunning pink Posey with white hair. Ugh, couldn't have been prettier. :lovey:

So here they are with their Posey-obsessed friend, Italy Firefly. He's... More of a fan than even I am...
I think he's... Rating them????

Here are my other ladies! I don't think I've ever showcased them individually before.
Prototype Argie pony is an official member of the Posey herd too. :silly:
This Italy Posey is certainly my fave so far. I can't give you a reason, really. I do love her purple flowers, too!

And here's a side by side by side by side comparison of all their symbol colours...and because they're pretty all lined up!
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Top to bottom: 2 Argentina babies, 4 US/HK, 1 US/HK So Soft, 1 UK/Euro, 4 Italy (1 light purple symbol and 1 normal purple symbol), Next row, top to bottom: 1 Argentina prototype, 1 Peruvian, 2 Venezuelan
A majority of these girls came to me in not-so-great condition, aside from my mint and near mint US ones.

They've been soaked, boiled, straightened, had acetone soaked on ink marks, rubbed magic eraser on them until my fingers hurt, and I still love them even with their permanent imperfections such as cuts and stains. Some, like Peru, I left the excess little green dots. She even has a teeny tiny green dot as a beauty mark on her upper lip and it's adorable! I don't fix their symbols, they're perfect just as they are. I just get them clean and as frizz free as that country's hair can get. :cheer:

Edit:: AHHHH! How could I forget Mexican Posey?!? With her crazy little curls?!? (okay she just fell onto the bed and napped while I took photos)
They're what make her "her"... These curls were an accident from her hairstyle while she sunfaded and it just stuck with me. :)

She was a gift from Maddie!:heart:
The only one I own that is missing from these pics is Spain. I'm sunfading... her head. :lookround:

I really really don't like bragging about much of anything, but I love these flowery ponies and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished with them. :accomplished:

MLP Nirvana / PC: German Sweet Clover and German Starshine?
« on: November 05, 2014, 12:07:44 PM »
I'm not too thrilled to be letting these girls go, but I know it'll be worth it.
(I'm sorry about the quality of the photos..iPad cameras aren't too great.)
>>Link to Imgur Album, click photos to zoom :)

They've both been treated like queens and Starshine has been sunfaded with peroxide.
She had some pretty bad browning on her NDS and most of it was successfully faded. There's still a shadow of it left if you hold her against sunlight, but she really has come a long way. I can't find any before photos, but it was bad and took MONTHS.
Edit: Oh wait! Here she is before!
Here she is aaaalmost done...

Her tail washer has been replaced with small clear cable  ties.

Sweet Clover has a neck indent but that seems to be her only major flaw and is covered by her hair.
Her tail washer has also been replaced by small clear cable ties.

These ladies both have incredible hair. Album will provide details of any flaws I can find.

A PC on this lovely lady would be very much appreciated, even though she's not a nirvana.
Her metal washer has fallen off her tail but her neck glue is completely sealed. The metal clamp on her tail is still in-tact and rust free.

Just a heads up to those receiving packages from the US via First Class International (usually the standard shipping method, delivering packages within a week or less to most countries) or shipping with USPS to other countries.
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I received a reminder on my receipt today that First Class packages going anywhere except Canada are no longer able to be tracked. When I attempted to track a UK-bound pony, the above screenshot is the result.
I don't know if this is strictly for USPS.com and will update once in the country of destination, but I thought I should let you guys know. Customs numbers are still "activated" upon initial scan and can be used in the case you need to file a complaint for damages or a parcel is lost.

If you require tracking, you will need to ship using Priority or Global Express.

I will call my local PO tomorrow and ask about more information on this. I'm hoping there's at least a departure scan, as this could really cause problems with less-than-trustworthy sellers.

Edit:
USPS has updated their website stating "Tracking available when you ship online to select destinations".. They unfortunately do not have a list of what the select destinations are and when these changes began, but you can purchase postage online and still hopefully receive tracking.

The Dollhouse / Who am I? - Childhood Cabbage Patch Kid
« on: February 08, 2013, 10:03:43 AM »
When I was little and living in Puerto Rico, I was passed down a Cabbage Patch Kid. This doll went everywhere with me, literally! When I moved to the US, of course she came with me. She had lost her shoes, but it didn't bother me. She was my favourite toy along with my Sky Skimmer who had only one jeweled eye. One night, my doll fell from where she sat and somehow landed next to the heater. I woke up to see her entire side burned and since that day I mourned her "injury". Eventually, my mom contacted Mattel asking if they could fix her, perhaps send her new arms and legs but they no longer made parts for first edition dolls or anything simular. My mom tried to buy me a new one but she wasn't the same and I donated her. Now I've been looking at these kids online and decided to try to find her. She still breaks my heart a little but at least now I'm an adult and am perfectly okay with her flaws.
Unfortunately, it seems like she's a ghost. Nowhere to found! Only "close matches" turn up.
So I'm asking you, the amazing dollhouse of the Arena, who is she? Do you know anything about her? Any help would be appreciated.

I made her a "cast" out of craft felt the morning of her "injury". I was going to remove it but I couldn't bring myself to.

MLP Nirvana / Done!
« on: January 08, 2013, 03:12:02 PM »
Hi, I know that Venezuelans were highly priced for a while and since then have dropped a bit so.. I'm wondering..
How much would pink Posey w/ pink hair and green Posey w/ pink hair be going for at the moment?
They have no body/head mismatch, come with their boxes, ribbons and combs. :)

I'm considering parting with them but I'm not quite sure yet.. ;////; Life is just a little crappy right now and I'm not sure what to do with my collections. They have found a lovely new home!

The Dollhouse / ANTM Public Edition - Challenge 3: Show Me the Music!
« on: December 26, 2012, 04:15:56 PM »
America's Next Top Monster
Public Edition - Challenge 3

Hello ghouls! This week it's up to you to portray your favourite song through a killer photograph. You can re-create a scene from a music video or just show us your own take on a song of your choice. It can be any song, any genre, of any time period. If you want to re-create a Britney Spears song with a your fabulous garboyle as Britney then so be it!
Be creative, have fun and may the best monster win!
You will have until January 2nd at 10 PM EST/ January 3rd 3 AM GMT to submit your entries!
...If you guys think this is not enough time, please let me know. ;^;

How It Works

1. A photography challenge is posted.
The poster may or may not post an example photo.

2. Participants are given seven days to submit their best photo.
They must PM a single photo to the poster of the challenge before the deadline.

3. At the conclusion of the seven days, the poster will anonymously post all the entries in a public poll.
The public will be allowed four days to discuss the entries and vote.

4. At the conclusion of the four days, the participant with the most amount of votes will be determined the winner.
The winner will be allowed a max of three days to post the next challenge.
If the winner does not post the challenge within three days, the runner-up will be allowed to do so, and so on.

5. In the event that two participants tie for first place, they will determine the next challenge together.

6. Once the public poll has ended, the poster will reveal which photo belongs to which participant.

The Specifics

- You do not have to use the same doll for every challenge.

- You do not need to participate in each challenge consecutively.

- You may edit your photo with any sort of software you like.

- You may use custom dolls and dolls of any gender.

- You may use any backgrounds, props, or sets that you like.

Good luck, everyone! :cheer:

I just went to Walmart with a voucher from my broken Howleen and Clawdeen to buy SS Lagoona and a Clawdeen fashion pack and was greeted with the unpleasant new Walmart policy effective as of last week. They're no longer able to accept any coupons for over 2 dollars, no exceptions and this DOES include manufacturer vouchers and coupons of any type, also includes buy one get one free coupons if the item is over $2. She told me to go to TRU or Target which for me is ridiculously hard to get to lately. The cashier said she hopes consumers complain about it but I don't even know where to start! I'm just letting you guys know in case you end up in the same scenario… Has anyone else had this problem?? :(

The Dollhouse / I am an idiot. (Looking for a MH reroot :c )
« on: July 23, 2012, 02:10:13 PM »
So a few weeks ago I decided to rehair Rochelle. Since I was short on money, I decided to go ahead and try to dye some nylon pony hair I already had to black. It took the dye really well (quite beautifully, actually!), but since I've never had problems with dyed hair and ponies with their soft plastic bodies, I thought this would be the same. I've also seen a few customs that have had dyed hair and they seemed fine. NOPE. Rochelle now has light purple stains on her face and tips of her ears from the hair I had so far rerooted her with and now I had to rip all of it out and throw it away. I'm so disheartned since she's really special to me and now I don't have the drive to get myself to buy new hair for her and do it all over again.
With that being said, does anyone happen to be willing to rehair her for me? Of course I'll pay for your time, shipping and cost of hair..I just don't want to give up because she's a little ruined now. ;_;
Should I just ask someone to try to repaint her as well? Is she better off as a custom..?
