Blind Melon and the BEE GIRL?! OMG my nostalgia alert just went FULL OUT!

*clicks* Okay. I did it. Critique time? *ducks fakies* I promise I'm not "hatin'" on anyone!
1. Back To Black
Pro: B/W works PERFECT for this shoot! Also, Skelita is seriously an awesome look-alike for Amy and I don't mean because they're both dead. :-p Composition is a great balance and nothing is made unclear - lots of contrast.
Con: The text could be a little sharper and maybe just a little larger.
2. Gangnam Style
Pro: Howleen is just horsin' around here! Love the idea.
Con: Needs a bit more "set" - I think they are dancing in the snow like in the video? If you can disguise the paper towel and box by not showing their edges, you might get a better illusion of being on stage. Love the glasses on Howleen but she looks more like the backup dancers than the singer... maybe a suit jacket or long pants.
3. I Love Rock and Roll
Pro: OMG THE GUITARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR *falls over* I am in LUV! perfect outfit for Frankie! Perfect to use Frankie! Her pose is divine - it pulls you all around the photo, right down her leg with lightning boots! You've even nailed the graffiti background of the 90's! What *is* that, Alice in Grungeland?
Con: I don't think of it as a negative but it totally looks like the hands are groping her. Intentional?
4. No Rain
Pro: Nostalgia alert! OMG! Really? I won't give it away for those who have to watch the video on Youtube...
Now I'm singing to myself, oh oh oh oh!
Con: If you're not in the know, this photo makes no sense. However, it IS a pop culture reference so that's not a bad thing. Hmmmm... I don't have any improvement comments to make!
5. Put Me Back Together
Pro: Only MH dolls could pull this off so charmingly. You made the scene very intimate for the viewer, like a fly on the wall type of closeness.
Con: I think you could have added a shot of the guy's face in a "fade" somewhere and really captured some emotion. Even if you had to make it more comic-book styled and perhaps added a panel. Right now, he looks like he's picking up her arm and handing it back to her casually, because like, that's what you do in MH Land when someone's arm falls off. ;D But not because it's TRU LUV!
6. Refuse To Dance
Pro: Lots of action in here - nightclub feel. Location? Check! Great use of the background, too. Again, adds flavor to the location! Annnnnd the near-wardrobe malfunction implies motion, which is great for the theme.
Con: Venus' hair needs to be flowing as she dances, otherwise the skirt on the other girl looks like a true wardrobe malfunction! The curtain effect is really weirding me out though.
7. Single Ladies
Pro: B/W can never go wrong for the high-contrast artsy shots. Well balanced models against each other. That is crazy how you got them to stand up though - or did you 'Shop the stands out?
Con: I almost lose Clawdeen's arm at that angle - maybe nudge her just a teeeeeensy bit over to the left? So she's closer to the other girl?
