Does you have pets or family members named after characters?

My cat was originally my stepsister's, and she named her Bella (I think you can guess who she's named after). I guess it is a fitting name for her, though.

We used to have a cat named Baghira (after the Jungle Book panther), I had rats called Luke and Anakin (Skywalker), Jack and Will (Pirates of the Caribbean), as well as Frodo and Lego(las) from Lord of the Rings. When I was very little our rabbits and guinea pigs also had cartoon character names.
Forgot to add the chinchillas. We had Gismo, and Romeo. One of my parents' cats is called Isis, after the Egyptian goddess.

Being named Hannah I've had a few people make Hannah Montana jokes to me... 

When I was really little I named one of our kittens Milo after Milo and Otis. Sadly he ran away within a couple months of us having him...

When I got my first cat that was actually mine, I named her Saria after The Legend of Zelda. Well, she picked the name really. I was listing off a bunch of names and every time I said Saria she would look up at me and meow. It was the cutest thing. My brother has her sister and he named her Evie after the character from The Mummy.

I lost Saria two years ago... but as a sort of tribute to her, my new kitten was named Navi (also from Legend of Zelda) The name Navi also fit because as a kitten she never stopped talking.

My sister has a cat named Zelgadis (after the character in the anime Slayers) and our family dog is named Koda (brother bear)

This one is a little more obscure... but one of the family cats (a stray we adopted with her litter of kittens) is named Mama Meow, named after Mama Miao from the PBS Kids cartoon Sagwa.

My cat's Willow and Xander are named after characters from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and like their tv counterparts they are best friends. My doggie is name Apollo after the Greek God.

I am planning on naming my next doggy either Castiel(male) or Illyria(female).

I named my very first pet (a goldfish) Cleo after the goldfish in Pinocchio. I think I was around 9 years old. My second fish after Cleo passed away was named Michelangelo, after the Ninja Turtle.

Oh, and my last cat was named Truman after Jim Carey's character in "The Truman Show". ^-^

I have a chinchilla named after Chichiri from Fushigi Yugi, a male better named Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho and a female named Erza from Fairy Tail.

What a cute thread. I love reading where everyone got the inspiration for their pets' names!

- Our first dog was called Scooby, after Scooby Doo (even though it was a female).

- Our current dog is called Karlsson, after Karlsson on the roof, the character from Astrid Lindgren's books (very fitting, as he tends to make a lot of mischief, even more so when he was a puppy).

- Some of our guinea pigs (we had many of them, over the course of 25 years or so) were named after characters from "Harry Potter". We had Luna, Hermione, Rowena, Sirius, Remus, Ginny, Lucius, Gilderoy... yes, I think that was all of them.

We named our female Scottish terrier Scout after the spunky little girl in the book, "To Kill a Mockingbird."  The name fits her perfectly as she is very much like Scout Finch in the story! 

When we got our male Scottie, we called him Atticus (the father from the same book) for a few days but it TOTALLY didn't suit his character.  Atticus Finch is strong and stoic kind of character who is very intelligent.  We changed my dog's name to Angus.  Fits him much better and is culturally appropriate being a Scottish name!

My brother named his dog Radlee after Boo Radley from the same book!

I had guinea pigs named Gadget (from Rescue Rangers) and Dr. Guinn, Medicine Pig (remember that old show Dr. Quinn?).  Also Bob and Dora the goldfish (Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer).  But otherwise I guess I haven't used many character names for my pets.  I should be getting some parakeets soon so we'll see what they end up with

One of our bunnies is named Princess Daisy as in the Super Mario princess.

And my old leopard geckos were named Smaug and Katla, after Tolkiens and Astrid Lindgrens dragons. Those gals stuck with mee for 12-13 years <3

My dog's name is Gatsby after, you guessed it, The Great Gatsby. (Robert Redford Gatsby, not DiCaprio.)

I was torn between two names when I adopted him, Gatsby and Mulder (from the X-Files.) Gatsby won out in the end.
