I was so shocked to see this when I woke up today. Huge and very important first step that took too long to happen. Knowing so many of my fellow LGBTQ+ friends can experience such a happy thing is amazing.

YES! Love ALWAYS wins!!!! I was VERY happy to hear this on the news!!!! I have members of my family and friends that have been with partners for a LONG time and now their dreams are coming true and they get their happily ever after ceremony with their loved ones!!!! To be very honest, im not into intercourse but Id marry someone for their personality and emotional support- guy or girl. Im married to a guy, but even if he was a girl id still marry! xP So I understand at least a little how this HUGE battle has FINALLY been won!!!!! Anyways, congradulations to all the couples out there today who finally have their marriage rights!!! YOU HAVE MY FULL SUPPORT!!!!

Geeze.... FINALLY U.S.! xD Now I have at least 3 weddings to go to soon!!!! Dallas opened their court early this morning and EVERYONE WHO IS GETTING MARRIED TODAY HERE HAS MARRIAGE FEES WAIVED AND THE 72 HOUR WAIT FOR THE CEREMONY WAIVED!!!!!

I saw the reaction at my local coffee shop and had to ask what happened as they were laughing and crying all at once. I burst into tears of joy when they told me what happened.
I'm so happy for everybody, especially here in the South! Love and equality won!

I'm so pleased! Ireland recently voted yes to same sex marriage and now the USA too! Go team!

I agree! I'm so proud of my country for finally passing this law! I have so many gay friends, and I know they'll be happy to know their marriage is recognized in all 50 states!

While this is great news I urge you all to remember that this isn't the end of the lgbt movement. While yes, marriage is incredible!! We still need to fight for the safety and comfort of trans kids like me.
