Identify this Cotton Candy pony?? UPDATED

So I was intrigued and bought her...
now I am even more intrigued..
I thought maybe she was Italian, but her stamp is HK, she is brown with blond hair..
I know Cotton Candy tends to change color .. but pink hair doesnt turn yellow! and she smells like a doll!
Help??

I can't help I'm afraid, but I'm curious too!! I really don't think a Cotton Candy could fade to those colours... Interesting!!

i'm curious too.
i had a white pony that turned orangeish color all over, and was told it was because of tobacco smoke.
though she didn't smell of it.
maybe it's something like that?

your pics didnt show for me, but wouldnt it say italy or macau under the hoof then? I have never seen a Macau, do they say HK?

I don't have a Macau so I wouldn't know.
But I do know that Macau ponies come from China!

I have a Macau Lemon Drop and her feet do say Macau. I don't know if it goes for every Macau pony, being how wild and wonderful Nirvanas are...

Macau ponies do all say Macau under their feet. Although it is part of China now, it was administered by Portugal until the 1990s.

Agreed. Ponies can react in a variety of weird ways to light, smoke, dirt, etc. I'd say she's just discolored.

Yep, I've seen Cotton Candy ponies fade and yellow like this.   If the pony was played with in a pool, the bleaching chemicals and sunlight can have that yellowing effect too.   All the hoof markings point to a regular release Cotton Candy.

I think she's bean cleaned with a cleaning product containing bleach!

How weird lol, and she smells like a new doll lol! She still has her head glued, at least partially, so i couldnt look inside her

I ll second or third or forth the poor Cotton Candy who has had a hard life unfortunately Plastic degrades very badly depending on what it has been exposed to and a CC will go yellow and tan in body and hair.
