Their eyes are actually not the same color, although they kinda look like it in the pic

She sure looks curious indeed I do think its possible the tail was a result of something someone purchased and used to keep a damaged tail in place. I have seen all manner of different parent creations over the years in order to keep a well loved childhood toy in "working" condition. But either way very unique.

She looks slightly larger than the regular one, and the head looks wider, or is that just the photo angle?

I wonder if she's a mock up for the mail order version or something?

I just noticed that her symbol has the dots more far apart like that of a Macau pony, and that's the only input I can put in!

She's definitely unique and deserves a nice home. I wonder if she's just a yellowed and faded pale pink Cotton Candy? Her pose is standing more upright and her face looks wider also.

The tail looks familiar, but I cannot place where I have seen it before.

The shedding and breaking of her mane suggest some sort of heat/chemical/age damage. I have had this happen to ponies in my own collection!

I have seen Cotton Candy, Bowtie and Lemondrop all with faded to white hair before and it is usually due to some kind of exposure.

She is definitely brown, but a really beautiful color of, and I would definitely say it is her original neck glue as well. She came from Pennsylvania, I have messaged the original seller as well to see if they have any information, but they are not pony sellers so I don't hold much hope, I assume she was part of an estate or something.

Over the past 30 years, someone could have used her as a custom or attempted to re-pink her.  The hair looks like it might have been a different color at the roots. 

And I discovered a tail clamp like that inside one of my fakies I was cleaning this morning, wow!
