I. Love. Music!I'm weird because I'm 24 and smooth jazz has always been one of my favorite genres, even though jazz is always considered something that "old people" listen to. I listened to it a lot growing up and being with my grandma all the time.I do have a very varied music taste, though. Sometimes I'll listen to late 80s/early 90s hip-hop, then I'll move on to some indie rock. I enjoy music from the 70s and 80s, and I occasionally listen to whatever is popular these days (because some songs are just too darn catchy). The only genre of music I truly and honestly cannot get into is country. I've tried giving a few songs a listen, because I don't like to say I hate something without having tried it first and... yeah, no. Can't do it.My favorite bands are Interpol and They Might Be Giants, and I almost got to see Interpol live last month but missed out! Hopefully next time. I love going to concerts though, and the last one I went to was to see OK Go and they were amaaaazing! I've gotten to see TMBG in concert, at least. My fiance got me into them, since it's his favorite band. For New Year's Eve, I'm going to a Motown musical (lots of popular music from the 60s and 70s) and I couldn't be more excited! In high school I was in marching band and it played a huge part in my life, so I love listening to marching band versions of different songs, as well. Being that I'm also a piano player and I have an immense love for the cello and violin, I can also be caught listening to classical music and orchestral pieces. Oh, and I can't forget video game music! The music from the Sonic games were my jam growing up! My last.fm page is probably the best way to see what I listen to.So yeah, obviously I love to talk about music.
I love music a heck of a lot, to the point where I literally can't leave the house without my headphones on. I'm mainly into rock and metal but I also like some folk, hip-hop, chillout music (especially the really cheesy stuff with whale songs in it), electro and pretty much whatever else takes my fancy at the time.My favourite bands would have to be Alkaline Trio, Mazzy Star, Alice In Chains, Machine Head, Mindfunk, Finch, RHCP, Swans, Better Than Ezra and quite a few others.
I love music! I can listen to anything, doesn't matter what it is. My preference is Rock/Metal/Alternative such as Bring me the Horizon, BlesstheFall, Disturbed, Linkin Park, Econoline Crush, Bleeker Ridge, Three Days Grace, Abandon all Ships etc.My music library has music from every genre in it, I love singing and dancing, so as long as there is music, I'm happy as can be!
I love music! I'm listening to it almost all of the time.Otherwise I really like British/Traditional Folk. I've always loved the sound of the genre, but never really knew what it was until around a year ago, when I discovered Gryphon and their Early Music influenced style and fell deeply in love, like "OMG THIS is that type of music I've always been looking for!". Since then I have expanded onto other Folk/Rock groups such as Pentangle, Steeleye Span, and the very traditional Shirley & Dolly Collins.
