SDCC exclusive - EXCLUSIVES ON HASBRO TOYSHOP

So, who wants to buy the one I'm going to be stuck with? 

I don't mind the doll so much but the pony is kinda horrible, so I'd be interested in the doll, unless this is the fair exclusive as well? Since I got a package deal for my fair ticket I'll be getting whatever the 'pony' is. I'm a little scared this is what I'm gonna be getting as my pony. Does anyone know if this is the exclusive for the fair too? It makes me long for the days when they gave us pink ponies over and over.

The exclusive this year was $50, same as the pony.  The doll is $30 and is probably just for SDCC though that hasn't specifically been said yet.  I don't think the Fair is getting the doll.

Well, I'll give them points for originality. I think I might pass on this year's exclusives, $50 is pretty stiff for that.

If I collected EQG, I'd probably be pretty psyched for that one though.

Guess I will be saving my money for the crazy Transformers "hair metal band" figures instead, and the TF "yearbook" thing.

I can't see $50 for that pony/spike combo thing, if that is the fair pony I'm gonna be so sad At this point I'd rather have the doll because at least it looks interesting and colorful.

The releases seem perfect for a comic convention. They're not something I would actually be interested in owning, though.

I have mixed feelings on these. I liked the Power Ponies episode of the show. And I think the doll looks really cool and seems to be worth the $30 for her. Which is odd for me. I usually think the EQ dolls look off. The pony and Spike are neat but not for $50. I could see spending $20 or $25 on the set. Especially if her hair is bendable. I'll probably be passing on these unless I can find them for half price on EBay.

If they had done the complete set of power ponies, that I would like. Although I'm sure that would have commanded a much higher price tag.

Hmm interesting.... Not what I was expecting at all, not sure if I want one or not a full set of all the mane 6 powers ponies plus Maniac and spike would be worth $50. Anyways oh great I hope the doll doesn't do better than the pony so hasbro won't be like oh let's just stick to a doll next year...

I dunno about the glue. The image looks CGI to me. I'm guessing the doll is just going to have curls, maybe with those funky wires to hold it in weird places like some dolls and ponies had for awhile.

Regardless, yeah. You can keep the doll and the pony, just give me Sidekick Spike.

Yeah that entire image of the doll looks drawn/photoshopped to me too.

This has come at a time when I've just massively refocused my collection to just one of each G4 Hasbro brushable character, the Funko line (all of it lol) and fair exclusives.... and now I'm not sure I want the exclusive. I'd be interested to see some better photos, ie closer up on various parts of the pony but not sure at all on this one which is unlike me.
