Hmm something strange I have done is to overpay for a G1 BBE pony just because my wife hates them. Then I set it up beside her at night and woke to her yelling and throwing it across the room. Def worth $5.

I AM STEALING THIS IDEA.

I'm totally eyeing up my boyfriend's niece's collection. She's got a huge box full of ponies, and I'm hoping she'll want to sell them when she's older. If she does, I'm there! She's only five though, so I've got a while to wait :(.

I intended to collect G4 only, but now I find myself eyeballing Paradise Estate.

Every time I look at a shelf I evaluate if it would be good for ponies or not. Like, I can't just look at a shelf and think "this is a shelf" anymore.
I'll put something here some time

You can always let your g4's live in paradise estate.  I don't see any reason different gen ponies can't intermingle.  My barnacle has a few g2 girlfriends.

It feels downright wrong to leave a store without at least cruising down the toy aisle!  It kills me when I'm in a rush and can't!

yep, I evaluate whether or not I'd have room for risers, how many ponies deep, and then if it's a cabinet, would that depth work with the height of that many risers?  I'm so pony-brain-washed! Even cabinets that aren't for ponies... may later be used for ponies... maybe...

My father is a carpenter and now that he has accepted his adult daughter is pony crazy I even have him coming up with pony shelf ideas on his own. If I end up with a pony room some day I know he'll make me custom cabinets with lighting inside. I told him that's what I wanted and he started getting fancy with it saying he could make drawers on the bottom and carve the outline of Dream Castle and other scenery along the top. My pony obsession is pulling him in.

I can't turn my pony radar off when I'm at thrifts anymore.  All other items have become invisible to me, wonder what treasures I've missed so far...

I think my :muffin: Pony habit is so bad, I've dragged my wife down with me. Even if it means we might be short on rent, if there's a last minute or limited time :muffin: Pony item being sold online, I usually snag it no matter the consequences. My wife got my SDCC :muffin: Pony that way. I love her so much for snagging one when Hasbro had them!

But don't fret, we always make up the money somewhere. ;)

I recently managed to help a customer find what she wanted in our local charity store, before the people working there could, twice. >>
(Given, she did come in looking for toy horses...)
