1200+/- people in my village Its the (main)village with the most people in our community (Auetal) lol. Small and calm. I like it.
I was born in a pretty big city though, 500.000+ people (Hannover, Germany). We have been living there when I was a baby and I came back to live there when I first met my husband back then. When our daughter was close to getting 2yo we moved to the countryside where we live now.

The population was 15,696 (2012). We're far from a metropolis. I'd rather be living out in the woods somewhere... LOL. Kaukauna is a city in Outagamie County, Wisconsin, United States. It is situated on the Fox River, approximately 100 miles north of Milwaukee and 22 miles south of Green Bay. Great location, lots of local thrift shops in nearby towns...

Well I just checked and I'm shocked at how many people live here in warrington UK 202,600!! But I'm from Manchester and that has a population of 2.5 million.

The town Dunakeszi is a small town with about 40,000 people but it was just around 30k about 10 years ago. It's a small sleeping town about 20 kilometers from the capital citty of Hungary Budapest.

I like to living here. It's quiet but it's close to Budapest and it has got great infrastucture so before the economic creasis a lot of people moved out here. Unfortunetly the town is in a small cisis recently and I can see many closed shops but I'm sure it will be better soon.

I use to live in Tauranga and that has a population of 123,500

I lived in Tauranga for 16 years so I like the change of pace and that it's quieter. I however don't like that there aren't as many thrift shops as Tauranga

I'm also from Calgary population 1.3 million people (2012 census), largest city in Alberta and 5th largest City in Canada. I have lived here most of my life but was born in Edmonton which has 1.2 million people. I am a city girl and absolutely love it. The traffic sucks but I love the convenience of having everything available right here in the city. I have tons of stores to go pony and doll hunting at, lol. We also have easy access to the country and it's only an hour drive to the mountains.

we have a population of about 8500 and for me this size is just right: not too many people, but still enough to have all important shops and markets in town

The nearest village, a field away (I measure distances in fields now!), is Huntshaw. Rather to my shock, it even has a Wikipedia page and that says 120 people lived there in 2001.
