I'll Fly Away - time to discuss G1 pegasus poses

I love Lofty's pose. It always looks like she's ready to take off from a cliff. Also love Surprise's pose because it looks so dainty.

My 3rd fav would be Whizzer's. I always wish Firefly will be remade in it. It'll make her look so much more adventurous.

This question is impossible, lol.  I picked Firefly's pose and SUrprise's pose...though I probably could have been fine picking any combination of poses!

Firefly pose is absolutely my favourite.
Love all ponies on that pose. And so beautiful Nirvana variants....

I confess to not being a huge fan of Pegasus ponies for some reason.  The two poses I chose are Lofty and DB

I love unusual poses like Firefly's, and I wish they'd made more ponies in this, or such poses. but I also like Whizzer's pose, to me it seems as if the pony was just caught in the moment of taking off 

it kind of surprised me that there are so few pegasus poses compared to unicorns - I never noticed this before

I know! I noticed it when planning my collection ( I started in March 2013 and am 90% finished already!). I decided I had to be really ruthless and fit all my G1s in one cabinet. So 120 adults or the equivalent adults and babies. Initially I tried to keep the number of each species the same! But that was never going to work. Anyhow I made up the numbers of pegasi by hunting for them in sets that I wasn't interested in collecting otherwise e.g. Brush n Grow, Raincurl, So-Soft. But then I fell in love with those sets and couldn't resist getting others! My last attempt at restraint is that now I only collect my favourite three from some sets including the pagasus

I voted for the Whizzer pose because it makes the ponies look like they're actually flying, or about to take off. I also voted for the Surprise pose because I like a lot of ponies in that pose.

I do NOT like the Lofty pose, though -- I find that a lot of ponies in that pose can tip over or become a bit warped.

Surprise's pose is just SO CUTE! It's sort of the pegasus version of the shy pose; any pony in that pose looks a little bashful.

But I love Whizzer's pose too, mainly because of Wind Whistler.

I picked Firefly, but my favorite Pegasus pose is the Buzzer pose.
