I picked up my box from wiccanpony1 from the local parcel pick-up station today. I love the ornaments I received to pieces!

To begin with, a picture of the beautiful Christmas card ...

The most beautiful wrapping paper I've ever received in a swap box (hummingbirds are my favourite animals )!! I tried to salvage as much as possible - I am going to use it for some decopatch.

Everything laid out. Can I just say: The socks are sizes 37-40 and fit my 37.5 feet perfectly. If you're planning to gift another pair to someone else, you might need to select a bigger size.

Christmas stuff! A crafts kit for making reindeer felt ornaments, what a cute idea! I had been ranting about how I would love to receive some crafts supplies, so this is spot on.

The packages weren't numbered, but I guessed right that the two most carefully wrapped presents would be the two most special ornaments, so I opened them last. First, there was this incredibly beautiful glass bulb with a glass Christmas tree inside. I love it so much, you wouldn't believe it! The Christmas tree is my favourite Christmas tradition, so this is just perfect.

At first, I couldn't really believe it, when I opened my last box: a snowman ornament made of Waterford crystal! I've always eyed the beautiful Waterford crystal items whenever I visited Dublin or some other place in Ireland, so this one really means a lot to me.  (= happy tears)

I also received some English tea (the Mad Hatter Tea made me laugh out loud) and a pencil with an ornament on top.

Lastly, a picture of the two glass ornaments on my shelf (we always put up a huge Christmas tree on the morning of the 24th, so these will have to wait a little to be hung) - don't they look splendid next to the candle holders I decorated this year? (Btw, I stuck the sticker on the back of the snowman, so it wouldn't be visible all the time - don't worry, it's still there.)

These are some beautiful ornaments. I have to giggle a bit. It's like one person is getting their box and then the person that sent it is getting theirs.


That's such a shame about the cute owl snow globe. I know they sell snow globe kits. I bet you can get a new glass some an repair it.

Wow so many more beautiful boxes! I love the owl and reindeer ornaments, and that bulb with the tree in it is just lovely!

Wiccan, so sorry that the snowglobe broke.  I knew it was risky to send one but I thought that the owl was so cute it was a risk worth taking... Glad you like him anyway.

Mirnyj - I have a Snowglobe that broke, saved it just like wiccan has it... still put it out around Christmas (it's a rocking horse) - so, it's not completely ruined by being broken! I've never looked for a replacement bulb for mine but, if you do find one wiccan, please share where you find it
