there are a few things i like and i am "fan of", but fandom means really participating in the fan-community, right? (not just talking about it with your friends an co-students? )
 
then i am just in the mlp "fandom", just here. but since we can chat here about game of thrones and walking dead too, that might count too.

Other than MLP, what fandoms are you currently a part of?

I've been a part of the Harry Potter fandom for many years now and even have a tattoo. 

I also really love Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Lord of the Rings, and Star Trek.

I tend to become extremely emotionally involved in my fandoms and I guess I'm just curious if others here are similar.   

In addition to My Little Pony, I really like sailor moon, wreck-it-Ralph, Big Bang theory, Ranma 1/2, Star Trek, Harry Potter, The Elder Scrolls and for some reason I really like the Lalaloopsy horses... Not the dolls really, just the horses lol.

Let's see, Supernatural is the most important one, I go to cons and all, then comes Buffy, Sherlock, Lord of the Rings, Pokemon, Disney, Harry Potter, Naruto, Gravity Falls and Adventure Time. I think that's pretty much all if you only count the ones where I actually participate in the fan community in someway.

I don't post on any other forums outside of the Arena and PonyIsland, so I wouldn't say I do 'fandoms'. There are a few things I like that I'll gladly chat about, though:

- Lord Of The Rings
- Harry Potter
- Studio Ghibli films
- Sanrio
- Fire Emblem
- Zelda
- Most Nintendo related things in general.

As far as actually posting on forums and such, I'm an MLP only it seems. I used to do Harry Potter a few years back, but the place I went to died out.

However, I do have a group I people I hang out with once to twice a month and we discuss our thoughts, ideas, and theories. Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, DC/Marvel Comics, New Girl, True Blood, Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Arrow, and Pokemon.

Because it goes perfectly with My Little Pony, my biggest fandom is probably Gears of War (LOL)!!  I always liked the games and the novels by Karen Traviss totally sold me.  Also, the fan community is pretty great.

I WAS an avid member of the Bioware fandom (mostly for Dragon Age and Mass Effect) but after the horrible reaction by the community after Dragon Age 2 and then the ending of Mass Effect 3 (I love both, by the way, and respect artistic interpretation) I distanced myself from it.  Now I'm just a fan patiently waiting to enjoy Dragon Age Inquisition and whatever the next installment of the Mass Effect series will be.

Besides that Harry Potter, Adventure Time, and Sandman by Neil Gaiman (though a lot of it's fans freak me out)

My biggest ones would probably be OFF and Pokémon. I've been involved in OFF RPs since last summer and have been writing Pokémon fanfiction for more than ten years.

I'm also very much into (among other things) Homestuck, Metalocalypse, Minecraft, Sonic, R.E.M., and Coheed and Cambria.

Because I'm a bit shy, I'm not "involved" involved in a lot of fandoms - I'm more likely found lurking forums. But, I think that staying up-to-date with the news, merch, etc. watching, reading, and obsessing about a show, book, etc. is being involved in a fandom. As such, I'll say that I have a lot: MLP, Sailor Moon and a lot of other Anime and Manga (I'm sure I owe well over 200 titles and a bunch of merch), Doctor Who, Harry Potter, LotR & the Hobbit, Disney (I <3 the Mouse House), Vera Bradley (and there are Vera bags w/Mickey Mouse!), musicals (esp. Phantom, Cats & JCS), and...Josh Groban 
There are lots more! I love lots of "geeky" things, as does my family (parents, sibs, etc.) and we're all a bit obsessive. I'm totally OK with this.
