Have you ever felt like you wanted a real pony?

Has no one ever been tempted to dress their own horse up as an MLP then? I have entered Domino in fancy dress competitions as Blossom before   Lots of lilac ribbon and cut out flowers stuck on his bum!!  I have see the most gorgeous "unicorn horns" for your horse to wear (they are on a brow band)  I am very tempted!!

I own two horses, and I love them both more than any of my plastic ponies.

Scooter is a 19 year old Quarter Horse mare and I have owned her for 13 years.  She is, in fact, the most perfect horse in the whole world.

Butters is a 6 year old Haflinger/Belgian cross mare.  I adopted her from a rescue in November.  She is quickly becoming a great riding horse and she is so sweet.  This picture is from yesterday when we participated in our first hunter pace.

I have 3 real ones(horses), and boy are they expensive to own! At least the plastic ones don't like to eat, lol! I'd honstly sell everything I own for them though.

Every day, when I drive past the mini-horse farm on my way home from work    Especially when there are foals! 

But I know realistically, I won't be able to have one till I can afford to stay home from work and own a bit of country land.   Neither of those looks like it's going to happen though.

Love seeing everyone's horses  

It was my love for horses as a kid that actually got me into my little ponies, because at that time I was not able to own a real one.  After about 20 years, I adopted my Quarter Horse, Mattie, and she has been a faithful friend to me.  I would sell all my plastic ponies in a flash if I needed to for her.  Here she is after a bath this past weekend... she was sneaky and undid the rope before she was dry

Eh, I can't say I have. While I do think they're adorable, I wouldn't be able to take care of them, and I don't have the space for one either. And my family lives paycheck to paycheck, we can't afford another animal!

I wish I had a best friend who owned a pony or a horse! That way I could help out with one. I would kiss their lovely pony faces! Horses and ponies are amazing creatures. I am pretty smitten with donkeys too.

When I was growing up I wanted to own horses at some point. Reality ultimately took over though and I lost interest.
But I will admit. The last couple of years the thought of getting one of those miniature ones (smaller than a Great Dane) has crossed my mind several times. I remember seeing a house in a nearby town that had one in their front yard while I was going to the city wide garage sales there.

 Of course It's hard enough for me to keep track of my cats, so taking care of one would probably be too much of a strain.
