New dog!

Here's Laku (finnish for Liquorice, we didnt choose the name though), 1,5 years old miniature pinscher. Yesterday evening I had no idea we would have a new family member today. My mom heard about this poor guy who needed a new home. And now he's here. We've been looking for a new dog for a while since our pug passed away a few months ago. I also need a "project dog" for my school, so its just perfect. No one has ever trained him, so he's going to get all the training he needs.

This is his third home, so he's got some serious trust issues. He's clearly afraid of men and he's probably never had a bath before. It's only been 1 day and he's a totally different dog already!

I know! Those ears are just amazing! 

I can't understand why no one wanted to keep him, he's just adorable. All his problems have been caused by lazy owners who didnt train him or do anything with him. He ate meat for the first time yesterday.. I gave him a good bath and now he's on a new diet to gain some weight, he's way too thin.

Aaw, he's lovely! I adore min pins! My mum has one currently who is 11 now, he was my buddy as a teenager.  What do your labs make of him?

It's such a shame that Laku has already been through so many homes, but glad he now has a forever home! Congrats on your new family member, and feel free to share as many pictures and updates of him as you like.

Oh I will add pics later, he's not a fan of the camera so its really hard to get decent pictures of him. 

My labs absolutely love him! They're all so energetic and love to run, so its a perfect match. I was a bit worried since they're all males, but there seems to be no problems at all. Im going to bring Laku to school on monday so he will get used to people. We're studying dogs right now, so he fits there well.
